The owner (I guess) was NOT FRIENDLY at all. I wanted a simple window curtain made from a standard shower curtain. Should have been easy peasy. She seemed to struggle a lot when I explained what I needed. Sure enough, when I picked it up, one panel of the curtain WAS UPSIDE DOWN!!! There was a DEFINITE up/down, right way/wrong way to the pattern of the shower curtain. COULD SHE NOT SEE IT? Luckily, the pattern helped hide the mistake, plus, I did NOT want to deal with her any more, so I accepted it and went home. Oh, and she CHARGED ME $50 to SEW SOME STRAIGHT LINES!!! Poor customer service. Inquired about a service that is clearly listed on their page. She said they don't do it. Ok cool. Attempted to ask additional questions about the services they do offer, no response. The lady turned around went back to the back and turned the volume on the tv/music up. Had to yell excuse me multiple times out loud to get her attention. On top of that when inquiring about her services they do offer she said "No". Then proceeded to finally answer the question. Wouldn't use them for my tailoring needs. Questions I asked: 1.Do you do measurements here? "No longer" 2.Because there's a measuring tape sitting right on the desk. I asked if I can use the tape? "No we don't do measuring here" 3. What services can you do, if I bring in the dress? No response and she turned around and left. 4. Excuse, me? Repeated that question multiple times. Background noise got louder before she decided to turn it off and come back to the front. 5. What services do you offer? No response. Had to repeat the question again before she finally answered. If this what happens for inquiries, then I definitely won't be using them at all! read more

If you want to get ignored, this the place to come. I patiently waited to be helped because an alteration was being done (6 min). In walks another customer who walked right past me and the seamstress stopped the alteration she was working on to help the customer who walked in. I was never acknowledged or greeted, so I turned around and walked out. There are plenty of alteration shops around, its best to find one who wants your business. I am a return customer but this place definitely deserves 0 stars for customer service. read more

5 stars for quickness, quality work, and very good customer service. The owners name is Yong. She is very helpful and friendly. She even brings her dog there sometimes. Great location, adjacent to a Dry Cleaner which I also utilize every now and then. I am a pretty lazy guy so I don't make trips to the tailor until I have like 5 things that need altering. So all in all I go like two or three times a year. Which also tells you how often I get my dry cleaning done... lol. Ace Tailor has always been very helpful, I always do original hem. She does a great job, quality work and very fast. Once I forgot to tell her I wanted the original. Luckily when i came back to pick it up, I told her and she still had the original and corrected it for me so I was able to pick it up the next day. AWESOME. read more

I've been going to have stuff tailored by Ms. Koh for years and have followed her from her previous shop, she's always done an excellent job. I took my wedding dress just recently and she had it back within a week, not too much work needed. My husbands suit took a little longer due to allllll the adjustments she had to do on his, but still was back a few days after mine. She gets you in and gets you out quickly during fitting and prices are lower than anyone else in the area. I've been going to this woman for the past 3 years since I've moved back to Dallas. I go to her purely for suits and she does a good job. The price is reasonable, if not cheaper than any other place. To give insight to how much it costs... it was between 60-70 bucks to have the jacket sides taken in and pant waist taken in and inseam hemmed. Bottom line, she's good at what she does, she's pretty fast, and nice. Don't fear putting your suits in her hands. read more

After calling a few places that are better known and being told it would take three days to alter some designer jeans, I called this place up. What a fantastic job they did. The phone call was answered promptly and was quick to the point. I took my jeans in and had them measured. She told me it would be 30 minutes. I left and came back in an hour and a half and they were completed. I would recommend this place to anyone in the Carrollton area. Or if you're passing by and need a quick fix. read more

Tailor would not sew a patch on a pocket without closing the pocket altogether. I did not understand her explanation of this due to our language barrier and she grew unreasonably frustrated with me. So, I decided to take the shirt to my previous tailor who had no issue sewing pocket patches for me and is always cheerful and friendly (but a bit further away). and because of her poor attitude, I also requested the return of pants I had left the previous day to be hemmed. She became outright angry and tried to tell me she did not know how to give a refund. (This is the owner stating this. ) I said that was not acceptable and that I wanted the pants returned so that I could take them and the shirt to someone else. She then proceeded to actually throw the pants, receipt/ticket and money at me from across the counter. Unbelievable. I picked up the pants and shirt today from Northcrest Tailor on Frankford and Old Denton. He did an excellent job as usual. read more

Only gave one star because I had to, deserves 0 stars... Very disappointed, dropped off 2 dresses and one skirt-- only one of the dresses had the work done (hem), the other dress came back as-is with the chalk marks still on the inside where it was to be taken in but erased from where the hem was to be taken up on the outside?!?!? The skirt had the chalk marks erased on the outside but was never taken up! I was charged almost $150.00 for the fiasco. I am not sure what they were thinking but this is outright fraud and stealing from the consumer and this shop should be shut down if they think this is how they should operate. I will be requesting my money back when they open on Monday and taking my business elsewhere and I will make sure to spread the word about how this place is ripping people off of their hard earned money. read more

The owner, Yong is so sweet, she is good with short notice alterations, and she genuinely cares about how you feel about your alterations. she knows how to work the clothes to suit you well, every time i have gone she has been open to whatever date i needed it and has quickly gotten my clothes back to me with great alterations. this is the place to go! read more

Denied measuring me for a dress before I could even finish talking to her about her fixing the one I had with me.

I've been going to Ace Tailor for about a year and half. I've taker her trousers, jeans, t shirts, dress shirts, and Blazers(sport coats). After everything I have taken, there was not one piece that I didn't just freaking love. I'm on the skinny and linky side and like my clothes to fit clothes to my body, think GQ. She knows how everything should fit. I tell here what I want done and let her go to work. Now if I see something I don't particularly like I'll speak up and she'll change it no problem. There's been times when I left the shop doughting what the end result may be and with an espinsive piece the dought even more so; but every time I recived a garment back, I was extremely happy. Price can be a bit on the expensive side depending on what's being done and the type of material. Have faith in this lady cause she knows what to do and how. Like I said, I'm very happy with all the work she's done for me and will continue going back. I'd recommend you do the same, cheers. read more
