This is a hidden gem! The staff is super courteous and they are very cautious and gentle. I got a regular manicure and pedicure but they look like gel polish. I have been looking a while for a good nail salon that did a mani pedi at a recent price that matches the quality of the work done. A lot of the places by me do the $20 mani pedi special but the quality is not worth it. Usually I'll head into a salon and they hardly scrub you feet and rush you out, but this place is amazing. You pay a little more but it's worth it. First the people who work here are super nice, second the place is clean, and third they take their time and the quality of their work is prestige. They also give you a card so after so many times going you get a discount on the tenth visit. I definitely see myself going back!! read more

I have been coming here for a long time and sadly it'll be my last. I came in at 3:50 pm waiting to get my gel manicure soaked off and for a manicure. When the lady was done rather than take care of me she took care of another customer first who had walked in 10-15 minutes after me. I guess since she was doing gel manicure she took priority since that's more money. Ok fine get my polish soaked finally and no longer had time for a manicure so all I wanted was a cut and file. Well the lady started to do my cuticles and when I go to pay she says $15. Um what? All I did was get my polish taken off no new manicure no new polish. Her response? Well I did your cuticles so that's a manicure. I said you took someone before me I'm in a rush all I wanted was to remove my gel polish!! They are INSANE. Anyone in the service industry would know to keep your customers you compromise to keep them around especially if YOU'RE the reason for the miscommunication! Always looking for a new place I think I found it here been twice. I like to get the spa pedicure. Green tea $45 for detox or peppermint $40 soothing and for inflammation. Included in that is a 10 minute timed massage. The gentleman there is good a little gruff meaning he sort of pulls your leg out of the water instead of gently guiding you. They have lots of finger decals to choose from they are coming back in style. My niece got little different sized stars on her ring fingers for 4th of July. I believe there gel manicure so $30. Pretty nude nails! I also got a pedi here. Service was great! Place is clean and many color options. Also no toxic smelling fumes like the other few places nearby. I Love that a paraffin wax and hot stone was included in the pedi. Also got an awesome massage after my mani was done. Altogether, mani pedi came out to $30...a little more than other places in the hood, but quality is so much better. I'm so happy I've found my go-to nail spot in the neighborhood. read more

It's been a couple of years and the service has been consistent, the girls are attentive, meticulous and the locale is very clean. She was also nice. however the application process for the manicure was given to me while i was doing my pedicure ...i felt it was a bit rushed and there was gaps left. she didn't really paint the whole nail. then for the pedicure, it was very rushed. Just left this place completely dissatisfied. They did such a poor job filing one of my nails that it chipped on the spot. They tried to half fix it so I would leave since they were busy and tried to blame me for messing it up when I complained. Second time they they were rude to me. I wanted to like this place since it's close and its open Sundays but this was the last straw. Try to avoid this place if you can. If the owner reads this review it should definitely do something about the attitude of its staff. They are terrible. read more

If I could choose less than one star I would. I've been coming here for about 2 months now being new to the area. I somehow end up having to come about a wknd and a half rather than every 2 wks bc my gel mani always chips or lifts. A week ago I brought my 5 year old daughter with me for a mani pedi. A couple of days later she started to complain about pain in her toe. At first I thought maybe it was from a pair of shoes then realized that couldn't be it bc she's been wearing sandals. Low and behold I end up taking her to the doc after the pain got worse along with swelling and puss. She now has an infection in her toe which the doctor agreed could only be from the pedicure. I came in today to show them pictures just so they are aware and can take future precautions in cleanliness and the owner had 101 excuses such as the don't cut 5 year old son cuticle as if it could have onlh been that outcome if skin is pulled. I told her I know that but they do use files, nail cutters, and the instrument to push cuticles back so the obvious is that they aren't sanitizing them. She then told me to bring my daughter in so she could see her toe even while I was showing her the multiple pics. I told her u wasn't brining my daughter back here again. She then told me to wait as she continued her mani. A few minutes of me standing there awkwardly, I walked out. I set an appointment and they were late taking me when I got there. The guy now did an amazing job on my pedicure. The old lady did a horrible job on my manicure. A manicure is where u clean, file and take away bad cuticle. If I just wanted my nails buff and file . I would do it myself instead of spending 30 on something somebody does not know how to do. This place is horrible! Do not go! Feels like HELL... I went yesterday I got a Manicure and Pedicure and poor girls, there is no A.C and you feel the summer heat in that place. I'm getting my manicure and pedicure done and i'm sweating like crazy! DO NOT GO the boss seems like she only wants to make money and has no interest in taking care of her customers and doesn't even care in investing into a working Air Conditioner! they do a good job most of the time but are horrible when it comes to timing. the first time i came i made an appointment for a gel manicure the same day and when i arrived someone filed the nails on my ONE hand for 45 minutes to stall until the person next to me was done getting their gel manicure done. my other hand was filed and done in less then 5 minutes. i think there's only one or two people at the salon that know how to do gel so even if you make an appointment you WILL wait for one of them to be done. i gave it another shot and just thought i waited so long because i made the appointment the same day- so this time i made the appointment a week in advance. i got my pedicure right away, but my friend who also had an appointment had to wait until i was done so the lady could do hers. when it came time to get the gel manicure it was rushed and a little messy- i think this is because my friend was waiting to get hers. they did her pedicure for almost an hour while i was getting my nails done (again, to stall) even though my pedicure took 20 minutes at most. not particularly impressed by anything that i got done today, maybe i'll try again on a week day when they're less busy read more

I have been going to this salon for a few months now, although I had been a customer of the previous owners for over a decade. I was very pleased with the service I received from Cathy. She is a really sweet girl and does a great job. On my last visit, either Thursday or Friday, it was suggested that I try a new polish, O.P.I nail lacquer. It cost five dollars extra but was told it would last for seven days. Since I don't like how the gel manicure weakens my nails, I decided to give it a try. To my dismay, by Sunday my nails were already chipping. I thought that the salon was closed on Mondays as they had been with the previous owners, and was busy on Tuesday and Wednesday, so I didn't return to the shop until the following Thursday. At this point my nails were seriously chipped and I was in dire need of a re-polish. I was appalled when I was charged an additional $5 for the re-polish. In all fairness, to charge $5 extra for this polish is ridiculous in the first place based on the fact that there must be at least thirty manicures per bottle of polish, and I doubt that the bottle cost the owner $150. The cost of re-polishing my nails could not be more than $1. What kind of a business owner over charges regular customers and then refuses to make the customer happy when we are only talking pennies to re apply more polish? Although my manicurist was very understanding and tried to refuse my tip, I could tell she was uncomfortable when the owner quite rudely insisted that I waited too long to come back and no one else had ever complained....only me. So in the end I paid $10 for the original manicure, $5 more for the special polish that would last seven days and only lasted two, $5 tip, $5 re-polish a week later, and a $2 tip. So the manicure ended up costing me $27!! This new owner is not only a thief, but a terrible business woman. I feel sorry for the girls working for her. They are losing customers and money due to her bad attitude. I can assure you, I will not be returning to this salon!! read more
