If I could leave zero stars, I would. The employee that "helped" had a rude and condescending tone immediately upon talking to her, I understand if she was having a bad day but it was way too noticeable for me to have just blown it off. The stuff they sell is entirely limited and, at best, worth a third as much as it is valued. If they had a less cunty employee who didn't seemingly talk shit about other customers, and, if they had a wider selection of junk to look at, then I would even remotely consider trying to give this miserable ego-filled gunk store my business; but even then, you can't fix garbage but you can throw glasses on it and pay it minimum wage to sit behind a desk. read more

All right I'll start with the positives. They occasionally do have a halfway decent price that's at least appropriate to the item on some other guitars. That being said how they even get anybody to stay long enough to pawn them or sell them or do whatever is beyond me because you're immediately met with an attitude that gives off the impression that you're in the wrong place. I walked in with about five guitars in my hand and was ignored being the only person in the building by the lady at the counter for good 10 minutes when she finally decided that she raised her eyes because I wasn't walking away I'm met with can I help you and I'm thinking.....wow.... My granted all of these instruments were good instruments and I said well I'm looking to take a loan I'm realistic I know the equation and Lady tells me well we can't do a loan right now cuz the guy who would do it is in the back doing paperwork. This is in the middle of the day mind you. I said well would you mind getting them? She hops on the phone and pay this to the back of the store and she met back with the reply of no he's too busy come back tomorrow. I looked up at the sign looked around looked at her and I said, this is a pawn shop correct? Is it oh yeah yeah. And I said okay that's weird. Come back the next day and at first I mean you would swear she'd never see me in my life holding the same instruments that I was told to come back with the next day and same routine 10 minutes standing there twiddling my thumbs and looks up and says can I help you and now I'm really put off because they told me to come back and she acts like she's never seen me before. Well I said well I'm here to get a loan. Would you believe that same thing she messages the back and they said no they're too busy. So I told him I don't know what you guys are running here but how in the hell are you going to be a pawn shop whenever you got nobody that will take a look at any of the instruments. You'd think I walked in there like a home bum or something but now I mean I'm a business owner. Damnedest thing I've ever seen. Decided to give it another shot of one or two other times and walked in there with a valuable gear to have them give me the chump run around surface level crap even after they know who I am and I said you guys obviously don't know what you're talking about. And obviously they were a little offended about that but it's the God's honest truth. When it comes to instruments they would know their ass from a hole in the ground. But, like I said, who knows if they're hot or what but for whatever reason they've been able to Con or muscle people out of enough instruments that every once in a while you'll find a pretty darn good deal on a guitar. I suppose I would go there just to check that other than that for customer service I'd give them a negative 10 and the most bewildering customer experience I have ever encountered. I cannot believe this place. I had a bad experience from the short haired female who I found out is the owner's daughter when I went to complain about her customer service skills since that is what I am retired from. My wife had asked this girl? Quote "Do you guys do trades, like if we buy your dvd's can we come swap them if there's an issue" She told my wife that (Quote) we do 3 for 1 trades unquote". We came back the next day with dvd's we bought from them "with receipt" and she tried to say, Qoute "I never said that, unquote" I then told her "the hell you didnt" needless to say we left with nothing because than she became very rude. I guess mom said something to her because today my wife and I went back in there to purchase over $1000.00 in silver bullion and I asked the daughter, "if I buy more than 10 will I get a discount"? She just said, "I'm good, no". I said, "your dad gave me a discount on a ring since i bought all that silver bullion from him" and she said again, "I'm good i told you, NO". Than she told the young polite gentleman that works there, "Dont sell him that silver, i have it saved for someone" we left and will never go back into their shop again. Dont like being lied to, treated like a piece of crap, and have her tell other employees to not sell me silver. I'm sorry you told your daughter whatever you told her to treat us that way even after i explained to you (the owner) what she did the first time.not a great way to run a business a d someone WILL eventually snap on her. I've seen it happen in a different pawn store and the guy (employee) has no front teeth now. All I'm going to say is this, people of color beware. Do not try to pawn or purchase anything here, the employees are not only morons but they have zero customer service skills and they're extremely rude. These women are high-key bigots as well, they make these little backhanded comments about you if you're a person of color. I made the mistake of coming here, I left with a really bad taste in my mouth. I won't be making that mistake again. Also they treat your own merchandise as if you stole it, so you end up getting screwed out of money. read more

I had seen listings on Facebook for multiple iPads at this shop and I contacted them about a student discount. I was told they offer a 10% student discount. When I went in the next day (today) to purchase an iPad with the 10% off discount, they refused to honor the price at all. They were even able to view the conversation from their end and still didn't honor the 10% discount. The lady i was talking with also acted like I was crazy for trying to use this discount and was condescending. Very disappointing customer service and character overall. read more
