    Spicy chicken thigh sandwich
    Vicky P.

This spot took me by surprise because my spicy chicken thigh sandwich was so good!!! I pass by this unassuming store front all the time and I finally tried it. The prices are pretty affordable. Everything is made fresh to order. I ordered the spicy chicken thigh sandwich and it was definitely freshly fried. It was so crispy and juicy. The lettuce and Mayo were the perfect combination. I will definitely come back to try the other items on the menu. I am curious about their wraps.

I'm delighted that they opened a new joint here selling crispy chicken and burgers. There isn't one burger and crispy chicken place in this area, except for Popeyes. Ace Burger & Crispy Chicken is modern. They're very clean, well lit interior, and the fried chicken is not burnt fried. I ordered a spicy crispy chicken thigh burger, it was not spicy at all. BUT their chicken tenders are very juicy and not dried. They need to stock up on their condiments though. People love condiments. Every place that sells fried chicken has a variety of condiments. Unfortunately, they didn't even have barbecue sauce the day I visited. The guy behind the counter was very nice. He accepts my credit card payment even though my first purchase was under $10; the credit card minimum. I placed a second order afterwards paying cash. Next time, I really want to try their cheeseburger. I wonder if they will have pickles? Oh! They also have bubble teas. This is very unique. I haven't seen a place in Manhattan nor Brooklyn yet where they sell burgers and bubble tea. This is great and I'm excited for this place to bloom!

Updated review 1/7/22: Ordered 2 times since opening. To be honest, not impressed with their fried chicken... overly done = dry. Sloppy presentation with sandwiches. Will perhaps try again due to convenience of location.

The popcorn chicken is very tasty and big considering it's supposed to be popcorn chicken. The price for this much of popcorn chicken was great.

    Spicy chicken burger

Maybe a new go to spot for me. I order the c6, fish burger with grilled wings and soda. Spicy chicken burger which wasn't that spicy. Chicken nuggets were amazing and crispy . And chicken thigh which was really crispy. Nice interior space. Everything was made to order so there was a wait for the food. The chicken was a bit stringy? It was juicy not dry at all. The burger and chicken thigh. The fish sandwich was bland to me. All I taste is the tartar sauce lol. The roast wings were so juicy and flavorful. I paid 50 cent for a side of bbq sauce and it was a bit watered down. I also love how they package their food. Burgers were wrapped and inside a box. The wings had two bags to contain the juices from dripping. I'll definitely return to try their other food options.

Prices are cheaper than most burger joints. Food is pretty decent. Portion size is better than most places. Would go again for a quick bite.

Let's start with the good - the service and ambiance were on point. I went on a Sunday evening around 7pm. It was busy inside, but since I was a solo diner I was seated immediately by the bar. The servers were friendly and attentive. Probably 3-4 different people checked in multiple times throughout the meal. Where I struggle is with the actual burger itself. As a non-resident New Yorker, for me $22.50 is a lot to spend on a burger and fries. It needs to rock my world at that price point. And it just didn't. I got the B&B Burger. The onion ring tasted like it had been refried a second time to make my burger. The bread was crumbly like it was on the verge of going stale. The actual beef patty itself was decent - good flavor. Usually I can overlook an okay burger if the fries are top notch, but these fries were under-seasoned and also 'just okay'. I also got a side of Chicken Tenders. These were good - no complaints here. I really wanted to like this spot, but not sure this would be a return visit for me.

Low and behold Brooklyn Burger and Beer looked like just what I wanted, so I walked in, grabbed a stool at the bar and jumped into their menu. What a difference a 1/2 mile makes! This place was perfect and its menu was choke full of bargains and bonuses. This place was cute; I mean the bar was front and center and was very impressive but the table seating was charming too. Their lunch menu has a great "build your on burger" which i had a blast doing: Burger Cheddar Cheese Bacon Grilled onions Lettuce Tomato Mayo / BBQ con The service was exceptional, the ambience was very "Taverny [sic]" and my lunch was delicious!

Greetings all, it's been a while but here I am. Let's talk about Emily a quant pizza restaurant…read morethat you could easily walk pass and not know what they sold. Today however it wasn't pizza that brought me here, it was the famous Emmy Burger. To begin with the atmosphere of the restaurant is dim lighting a few tables with a reasonable sized bar in the middle of the room. They also have an open kitchen concept where just past the bar you can see the cooks working. My server Inda was polite and knowledgeable about the menu. My burger was excellent, normally I don't eat my burger with a knife and folk, but in this case with all the cheese and sauce oozing down the sides, not to mention the caramelized onions, it was necessary. (If I were home I wouldn't mind having burger juices running down my arm, but other people were eating in the restaurant also). The tiny pickles which I can't remember the name of were an added treat to the burger. I decided to order mine with the loaded fries. Just imagine the ground burger with all the toppings covering french fries and add melted white cheese. Since I was alone I didn't order a pizza because how would I eat it all, but next time I will try the pizza. I don't mind paying extra for a burger when it's aged beef and the taste is great. I definitely recommend this location. There is a fast food burger restaurant next door to Emily's but I can't imagine there burgers compare. I will try them another time and let you know. That's all for now, see you on my next review.

They say some things age like fine wine, and I believe this restaurant falls in that category. After 55 years, this family oriented fast food shop known for its famous roast beef sandwich and other popular greasy goodness is still standing. I swung by recently for my usuals and glad to report that everything still tasted the same, just slightly more pricey year after year as expected. My regular order has always been the Roast Beef w/ Cheese, which was maybe $4 when I first tasted it over 25 years ago. It is now $9.45 or $.50 less for no cheese. Regardless, the roast beef (medium) is still tender and juicy, piled on top of a soft and pillowy, freshly made bread that's been dunked in a bath of delicious beef gravy. The ooey gooey cheese makes it complete for me. Everything else is solid. Nothing fantastic or worth driving out of your way for. Don't come here looking for the best version of everything on the menu. However, if in the neighborhood, this place is an inexpensive experience that brings you back in time, when the world was less complicated and a night out with family meant a delicious trip to a local restaurant like Roll-N-Roaster. Enjoy it for what it is and you'll have a good time.

We decided 7th Street Burger and it looked good enough for me. Here's where it gets "Sticky (literally)": You probably can't think of a much dirtier place than an airport, subway, public restroom or playground; especially if you going to go to a restaurant where you'll be using your hands to pick up a hamburger, or dipping your French fries in ketchup. So, I arrived first at 7th Street and I asked the cashier where is your restroom where I can tidy up (basically meaning disinfecting my hands). She said we do not have anyplace for that. I thought "What The Hell"!!!!!!! Now, I'm not an O.C.D. guy; but not washing my hands, after touching every rail a subway system has was not going to allow me to eat this lunch with filthy - dirty contaminated hands. The bun is soft and sweet and the burger has a good amount of sautéed mushrooms. Truffle Parmesan fries were pretty standard, but still very good. Yuzu honey lemonade has bits of citrus at the bottom of the drink and it was refreshing. I saved the chicken bites hours later and it was still pretty crispy after being microwave.
