The guys always unblocked the area and threw all of our cloths on the floor, instead of simply stepping out into the hallway and taking the 2 steps thru the bathroom door. I confronted them about the truly revolting state of the bathroom after they had used it, but they just stood there pretending to not speak English. It is unspeakable here how disrespectful they were towards our property. There were soiled towels and blankets from the initial leakage, and they guys simply shoved them in the nearest closet on top of all of our clean clothing. I cannot comprehend how awful and lazy and disrespectful these men are.

I've seen it all and I've heard it all. We only used this company because when we had a claim, we allowed the insurance company, State farm to choose the mitigation company as I didn't want any accusations of bias or unethical anything since, as I said, I was in the Insurance restoration business for over a decade. This company came out, the team lead they sent was as lazy as you could be, literally was standing in the water(which was sewage) then decided to sit on our brand new white couch. He talked to my wife about firearms and how he carries a firearm, then the next day as they were cleaning out our basement they came across a box that had a fake gun in it, a gun we use for a smokeless shooting range. He decided to freak out and no coincidence at 3:30 the whole entire team took off left everything unsecured, left our gate wide open and our doors wide open. Then the excuse they gave was that they didn't like how they were talked to. We had simply went down and asked them to take a beat for a minute because they were just thrown everything in the dumpster with zero accountability for it all so obviously we were a little nervous that insurance wasn't gonna cover it since they weren't documenting properly. Even things that we said don't throw away we noticed we're getting thrown in the dumpster so of course we were gonna stop them for a minute, again we know how the industry works. They damaged our fridge, we had to contact the owner of their company to get a replacement. It took probably three weeks of back-and-forth to finally get a fridge replaced that was essentially brand new. No shocker when it came to the contents portion of our claim they couldn't provide a full, comprehensive list of all items thrown out, saved or cleaned. Even our adjusted had a nightmare of a time trying to get photos from them or a proper list, we still haven't to this day. When it came to get our contents back, that was a nightmare in and of itself, the couch came back damaged. The owner of the company wanted to make accusations and not cover it. We finally just gave up it wasn't worth going back-and-forth, with her knowing her personality and how she is this company charged our insurance over $17,000 for the mitigation job and content manipulation. They were here for maybe a total of three days and stored our stuff for about three months. Their mitigation manager didn't do his job properly. They never came out to check the hours on the machine, run the numbers daily as you're supposed to do with mitigation instead, he would call me everyday and have me go down into my basement to use my moisture meter to check the numbers and check his machines for the hours and send him pictures. I have the pictures back it all up too, yet they charged the insurance company for supervision and the mitigation, despite the fact that he was calling me every day to check his equipment this is something any good mitigation company should be doing daily. Getting back to the contents when they finally brought them back, we were going through boxes and they'd have huge boxes with two items in it or boxes with stuff just thrown in it See The pictures I've attached to this review. This company is absolute hacks and I wouldn't recommend them to anybody. They could have a fire extinguisher while my house is burning down and I would let the house burn down before I let them use the fire extinguisher to put the fire out. When I say DONT use this company, I mean it RUN from them. I've been in the construction industry for over twenty years, this companies lacks integrity, professionalism and proper leadership.

Dave from Armor Shield was at our house with the insurance company's inspector to ensure that they were fair and honest with their assessment. After it was determined that we would need our entire roof re-shingled, Armor Shield went to work. Dave came back to our house to explain the process and had us pick out the new shingle color. Stacy called me to schedule a date for the installation. They organized the materials and dumpster to be dropped off the day before the install. The day of the install the crew arrived around 8:00am and worked feverishly until the job was completed. By 2:30, they had everything cleaned up and they were on their way. They were fast, efficient, and the quality of workmanship was excellent. The following day the dumpster and remaining materials were picked up. He only responded to our inquiries when the builder reached out to him and asked him to contact us. Unfortunately, instead of going out to the house to investigate the issue (his website says he offers 24/7 emergency service but couldn't offer me any timetable to come out other than to say it would be several weeks before he'd have time) he offered excuses about being too busy, being too far from the location of the property, not having good employee support since COVID, and then mentioned that we would be outside our warranty anyway. I had another HVAC company go out to diagnose the problem and the builder also investigated the problem directly. Ended up having a different HVAC company install a new flare, reconnect the pipe, add refrigerant and test the system at a total cost of almost $1700. Lassen HVAC is completely unresponsive to homeowners, takes absolutely no interest or accountability for his workmanship and or responsibility for any corrective actions. Did I mention that we missed out on a couple thousand dollars in rebates when our system was installed too because he never got us the paperwork we needed?? DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

The crew was supposed to start on a Monday and did not start work until Wednesday. I took the day off from work to get the crew set up at our house, only do have them show up, collect the deposit check, pull up one solitary asbestos tile (with no protection) and skidaddle right the heck out of there after a little less than two hours. The next day upon the crew's arrival, I was asked if they could use staples to affix the clear poly to the walls. I said, "Sure, the walls are getting redone after the project, so you can use staples in the walls." Apparently "walls" meant "every damn thing in my kitchen", to include, but not limited to: molding, trim, cabinets, stairs, fixtures and toe kick. I am STILL removing staples to this day, and the job was completed months ago. Finally, when the job was done and the air quality test was completed on Friday afternoon, our kitchen remained sealed off for the duration of the weekend, despite our requests to Glenn to have someone remove it so we could use the kitchen. I'd think twice before hiring these guys. The work got done, but in less than a professional manner. Glenn is hard to reach, and as any contractor would know communication is paramount when it comes to dealing with your customers. My calls and emails regarding the delays were met with relative silence, and when I did finally hear back the responses were short and did not answer my questions. I understand it's a tough job and people get busy, but clients need to know what they're spending their money on. If you're having asbestos abatement done in your home, do your research. You probably want to spend your money somewhere else.
