I was aware this company had poor…read morereviews but booked them based on our initial consultation with Sal and the hope for a good experience. We went with BioClean despite having a cheaper quote elsewhere. Unfortunately, the day of our job was a nightmare. The workers arrived 1 hr 10 minutes late without any phone call. This was after we made multiple calls to inquire why they were late. I received about four different excuses as to why they were late. Truthfully, the excuses did not help and it was the lack of professionalism and respect for our time that really upset us. Additionally, I felt the office staff spoke to me very unprofessionally with one person telling me he was "sick as shit" which is just an unprofessional way to speak to a customer. Additionally, there was a lack of communication between the inspector, the office, and the work team about the expectations for our project. In the end, they did rectify the situation by adjusting our final price. however, the day was still a major headache and we do not plan to work with this company again nor would i recommend them to anyone. we have had plenty of work done in our home and have never had such an unprofessional experience. I feel duped by our inspector about the quality of service we would receive.

GO Painting - The bracket he used on my banisters... Oy vey!

    GO Painting

I gave Chris and his crew a pretty big job. He repainted my basement, built a shelf in my hallway…read morecoming and painted the walls. He also tweaked my two bathrooms upstairs. In the beginning the relationship was great. But then they got sloppy. I'll start from the bottom up. They took my banisters out of the wall coming up from the basement in order to do a complete paint job. They forgot to mark where the studs were and had trouble reinstalling them. They also lost sum of the brackets or the screws that go to the brackets so Chris ran to Home Depot and bought ones. The new ones were not right for my banisters and therefore they ill fitted it to the wall. They also could not find the studs and when it came to putting in the top part of the second banister, he couldn't get it and said oh well" that's just how it is I stood there in shock and immediately said, "no... That's not just how it is because that's not how it was and you're putting it back the way it was " wasn't too happy with but agreed to do it with gorilla glue and as you well know it's not holding. Also the banisters that he thought he put incorrectly he did not because the brackets are too big and the banister itself will move when you put weight on it. One is also cracking the wall and threatening to fall out. Does he give a care? No... Because he was paid as I thought the job was finished and he's not coming back to do what's right Second problem is with my bathroom. He did not finish the painting correctly and left it ragged over the bathtub. It also did not properly paint in the corners as I am now seeing white areas which is the primer. I put a rubber molding up which pulled off a teeny bit of the pain and that's when I saw that he did not put two coats but one! He wouldn't come back to make things right until he other jobs and was gonna make me wait two months. I told him he's and then I would be putting up some which I am have been a couple of months ago but I'm finding more and more errors and said it's time! He says he on his work. No he doesn't... He scamming people. Everyone I've ever hired has tried to pull this. He's one of the few to get away with it. Do not hire him... He's all talk. I even treated them every day to unlimited coffee and treats. They would leave their cups on the floor, and on donut day there were donuts in the cups and I have a pet to think about. They know this or knew this! I got them pizza twice and the second time they left the empty box sitting on my kitchen counter. They couldn't throw it away when they were done? Chris threatened me afterward that if I kept insulting him that he would have to end our business relationship. That I can't be disrespectful. Really? He was disrespecting me and my property by not doing the job right and not taking care for instance of my banisters when he took them off the wall. They should've taped the nails and the brackets to the banisters so as not to lose them. Or put them in a Ziploc and attach them to the banisters. I am stuck with finishing my own bathroom and trying to make sure my banisters don't come out of the wall until I can find replacements, nicer banisters and have it done right. And I will definitely go through a corporate store where I have guarantees. I knew from the beginning that Chris was a little different but he seemed like a good guy to me. My heart couldn't have been more wrong! DON'T HIRE GO ! YOU'LL BE SORRY AS I AM!

I am actually adding to my past review here. I noticed that Chris mentioned that he offered to…read morebring in a consult, due to problems with my bathroom. He need to bring in a professional . He's supposed to be the professional. He did not paint in the corner where the walls meet over my . He left the wall unfinished. He improperly reinstalled banisters going to my basement which will fall out as soon as someone heavier puts their weight on them. I'm telling people to hold onto my walls because the banisters are unstable. They were not unstable before Chris and his crew took them out and lost the anchors. They also run around without a stud finder. And when I told him he couldn't just leave it the way it was to at least put some gorilla glue he said in an angry tone, " yours ". He's not as professional as he claims. And instead of trying to fix it I am going to look at having brand new larger banisters installed in the spring to replace the mess that he left me. I treated them well... Feeding them every day and giving them unlimited coffee left boxes sitting around and trash on the floors and I have a pet to think of. They didn't ... The bathroom that Chris's helpers painted turned out beautiful. The bathroom that crisp painted will eventually need to be done again. And he only put one layer of color not and now I understand why it looks so faded... He did not put a double coat. I'm busy trying to dress it up for I'm not spending another penny on it and I'll mix the paint over the summer, the paint that he left me and I'll fill in the corner that he missed because he's such a professional. If you're smart you won't fall for this young fool the way I did. He sucks! You don't need to bring in a Painting consult to fix what you did wrong. You just fix it yourself.

The communication was impressive (both email and text messages about the appointment and then texted when he wanted to confirm I could meet him the same day). Sure enough, Mike arrived around 1pm and showed me how to see the number of cycles on the opener along with the date of manufacture on the garage door. He gave me a few options (just replace the springs, replace the rollers and springs, replace the rollers, springs and hinges, etc.) and let me choose without any pressure. He set to work (I chose the option to replace the springs, cables and rollers -- the door was 22 years old so the originals had all put in their time) and 3 hours later was finished! Talk about quick turnaround! Additionally, I asked him to replace the weather seal on the bottom of the door since a mouse had eaten away a section of it. He gave me a reasonable price to complete that work at the same time. I have no idea what the going rate is for this sort of repair. Torsion springs are not DIY-friendly so it's expected that this is a somewhat sizable expense.

They don't rush off, they certainly do the job right. We have two rooms above the garage and decided to get an insulated door to improve heat loss, and in the summer, the blazing heat will be kept out. Very happy with the results.
