Rip Off! They charged me $1157 to remove a tiolet on the first floor and snake out a clog. I called…read morebecause my tenant had water backing up in one of the bathrooms. They showed up and also found flooding in the basement. I was led to believe that the charge of $1157 would fix both (I live in CA, so I wasn't there to see the paperwork to sign.) Then they sent another plumber who wanted to charge me $6500-$7500 to excavate to find the leak. THen a third person showed up to deal with the flood and wanted to charge me $3500 to clean it up. The first plumber said he would take video down the drain but never showed me anything and the person on the phone when I complained said they don't give the video out. Stay away from these folks. Also, they mentioned that I had a main water leak. I had the city come out and they tested the line and confirmed no main water leak.

Main level half bath toilet overflowed with "brown water" which also flowed through floor and down exterior wall into basement below. For the interior clean up, Jake and ServiceMaster were recommended by the plumber who responded to my issue. Jake was AWESOME at dealing with our insurance company as far as claim and making sure to get everything we should from them. His clean up team was excellent as far as removing and disposing of all the items and housing materials deemed a loss. Jake and his team were respectful, professional, and cleaned up thoroughly. After the clean up task was complete, he was able to recommend a contractor that he coordinates with (which I will review separately for the "rebuild"), but that contractor is also excellent! I would trust a recommendation from Jake about services to use after his clean up job is complete.

But there was a problem from the beginning! The truck-based cleaning system broke down in my driveway, actually it was the onboard generator that runs the cleaning equipement. Walter, the cleaning technician was stranded here waiting for a new truck to be delivered. We chatted for some time, nice guy! The replacement truck was delivered by the owner of the company, Adam. He apologized to me for the inconvenience and shook my hand. I watched Walter work now and then, he cleaned, used neutralizer and smelled the loveseat cushions over and over. He did the cushion cleaning outside on a ground cloth! I waited 4 days to write this review; I wanted to make sure the Pee Smell was gone in both cases. This company presented a professional approach to me, I booked the same day, Adam did the estimate. I got a discount too for a same day booking. I canceled my next estimate. Verry Happy, Andy Rutter
