It seems all too rare these days that you find a contractor that is reliable, competent and takes real pride in their work but that's exactly what you're getting here. They were at our house within 24 hours and gave us what we feel was a very reasonable estimate to remove and replace our roof. The job was scheduled promptly and the work was 99% completed in one day with a crew of 8 who worked almost non-stop the entire day. They were obviously very experienced and we were impressed how they all worked cooperatively and efficiently. They cleaned up several times and even sent someone the following day to go around the house searching for nails or debris. Due to fire damage, the room containing the pellet stove required complete demolition. The referenced company was contracted to uninstall the pellet stove prior to remediation. The stove was removed and placed in our garage the day before Servpro began demolition of the affected room. The room was sealed off following removal. There is a dispute regarding the handling of the stove components at the time of removal: Company's position: The company maintains that all components required for reinstallation were packaged together and secured to the back of the stove when it was placed in our garage. Homeowner's position: The stove and a large pipe were placed in the garage beneath the electrical panel, against the wall, with no components attached to the back of the stove. We recall observing additional stove components remaining in the room after removal and contacted the company to inquire whether those items were necessary. We were advised that if any components remained in the room and were removed during demolition, they would need to be replaced and that this would be addressed at the time of reinstallation. Servpro subsequently gutted the room, and all repairs were completed. Prior to scheduling reinstallation, my husband visited the company to purchase paint so that the stove could be refinished. We then contacted the company to schedule reinstallation. Upon arrival, the installer stated that required components were missing and asserted that all parts had been packaged and left in the garage. The installer further alleged that the parts may have been misplaced by us when the stove was removed from the garage for painting. Numerous communications followed between us and the company, including conversations involving our contractor. Initially, we were instructed to independently locate and purchase the missing components and then contact the company to proceed with reinstallation. At that time, we were also issued an additional invoice in the amount of $2,200 for reinstallation services. Due to the cost involved and uncertainty regarding which components were required, we requested confirmation of the necessary parts prior to purchase. Over the course of approximately three months, we repeatedly attempted to obtain verification. Eventually, a company representative confirmed that the parts we intended to purchase were incorrect and provided a corrected list of required components. We were informed that the matter would be discussed with the owner to arrange installation. After receiving no further response, I left a message with the company requesting follow-up. The following day, the owner contacted me and stated that the company was going out of business and would not be able to perform the installation. On that same day, a technician emailed the confirmed list of required parts. I asked whether the company would complete the installation once the parts were obtained. Subsequently, I received an email from the receptionist stating that the owner had indicated the company would not install parts that were not original components. As a result, the pellet stove remains uninstalled due to unresolved disputes regarding missing components and the company's refusal to complete the work. This matter has caused additional delay, expense, and disruption following a significant fire-related loss.

Absolutely Terrible Experience - Avoid at All Costs…read more This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a contractor. The drywall work was sloppy and unprofessional--gouges in the joint compound, visible tape, entire sections missed, and thick, uneven corners that ruined the look of our newly remodeled kitchen. I had to point out spots he didn't even tape! He claimed the painter should finish sanding (not true), and lied, saying the primer would hide the flaws (it makes them more visible). Because of his poor work, we had to pay our painters extra to fix what he should have done right. He was also extremely disrespectful. When I pointed out issues, he reacted like a child having a tantrum--aggressively sanding while I stood nearby, covering me in dust. I looked like I was caught outside in the snow. I paid $2,500 for this nightmare and he told me when I was pointing out the "imperfections," that I was "nit-picking." He didn't put down any protection, and thank God we had tarps in place ourselves. But during his tirade, he kicked up the tarp sending more dust everywhere and all over the carpet. He also tried to float his own boat about how everyone says he is so clean all the time. And the most outrageous part of the entire ordeal? He made a blatantly racist remark, saying, "I hate Blacks and Indians." Absolutely disgusting. On top of it, he was referred to us by another contractor who had completed other work on our home. He was awesome and had impeccable workmanship. This sheetrock guy actually said that his work was sloppy! Some way to treat someone that gets you the job. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I needed a tree cut down from my front lawn, and got the number from this company from a neighbor…read more I called and asked for a price quote, and someone arrived within 20 minutes to give it to me. The offer was more than fair. Once I confirmed to go ahead with the project, they arrived the same day to do the bulk of the work. The tree was successfully brought down despite there being power lines in the way, with no property damage or any accidents. Some logs were left behind, but they were removed several days later as is often the case with jobs like this. Other than a small divot in the lawn where the tree came down, you'd hardly know the tree had been recently removed. So overall, very happy with the work done. That being said, whenever you hire a contractor to do something like this, always get everything (including the price, timeline, specifics and their signature) written down to cover yourself. I'm not victim-blaming the negative reviews here, but cynicism and paperwork are your friends.

They started work a week early. Even the office manager was responsive and helpful. They showed up with a team of more than 6,7 guys. All nice and waving to my one year old daughter watching in amazement. They had a SUPERVISOR stop by. They cleaned up EVERYTHING they did. They protected my grass with plastic mats. THEY WORKED THEIR BUTTS OFF. They must have burned 5,000 calories each taking my dangerous tree down. I haven't been this impressed by a company from quote to set up to clean up to payment. I keep telling my wife two things. A) I can't believe how good they were and B) how did they really remove the stump that well? I'm basically in shock at how lucky I got finding this company.
