I've been looking EVERYWHERE for a passive crossover, mine burnt up(too much juice). No place had it Best Buy said to "go to a flea market", then tried selling me a cell phone???? really??? Anyways, I was about to give up and just buy another amplifier and go use the active crossover inside those, you know what I'm talking about if your an audio geek like me. If not - Crossovers basically separate Hi range sounds i.e.treble and voice from low/mid range i.e. drum and bass. OK lesson over, back to reviewing... Accutek was on the right and I decided to pull in. I asked, not expecting much... Low and behold, Ron came out. He said he may have some and he'd look. 15 minutes later when I was losing all hope he comes back with some MB Quarts and Rockford Fosgates he had one of each. I frowned a little... then he pulled a brand spanking new set out (2 crossovers L+R side) from Pioneer. Now I'm not a big pioneer buff, I am a Polk Audio WHORE though! Ron rand me through the in n outs of this series, Power(Peak +RMS), Freq. Response, even opened it up so I can see the beefy coils and capacitors in there. This thing was solid! Metal Casing, heat sinks, all brushed aluminum. I started worrying about pricing... I SHOULDN'T HAVE! He showed me list price and his price. He gave me HIS price! And it gets better, I thought I had the $71.88 in cash... nope... bought my boss some lunch before. I had exactly $66 on me... I was about to charge it on my debit when Ron said Don't worry bout it, I can take $66! I was so impressed I ended up going back the a few days later and buying more stuff from there... Seriously go there! The store is clean if a little small, everything is on display and the employees are VERY knowledgeable and helpful. Even the Retail Prices are good too. Doesn't seem to be too much on a mark up on most of their products. I'm gonna be buying from there now. read more

I went into Accutek today extremely upset over a problem with my radio. I walked in afraid that I was going to be scammed into buying something I didnt need and having to spend money I didnt have. I am female and clueless when it comes to these things. I was greeted immediately and as soon as I made an awful attempt to explain my version of what I thought was wrong, Tony (awesome guy) walked right out to my car and took a look. He never made me feel stupid or uncomfortable. Which immediatley won me over. The issue turned out to be only a short that I had caused and Ron and Tony took care of it right away. I will be going back to get my dvd player installed that i purchased somewhere else and was advised that they would be happy to do that. I was also offered some tips on how I can do it myself again, another huge plus. But I rather take it to the pros and have them do it. The price was very reasonable. Recently went to Accutech after having problems installing a stereo in my wife's car. Ron gave me a ballpark figure of $150 for the work to be performed. After the work was performed he called me with the price of $250. That was labor only. Granted he had to fix the issues I created when I tried to install the stereo myself, but he only had my vehicle for 4 hours and was eating lunch when I dropped it off. Also had an issue with some speaker wire I had previously bought from there and left in my vehicle. It was gone when I got my vehicle back. I had to call the next day to get my speaker wire and a breakdown of the charges for the install. Won't be going back and wouldn't recommend anyone go there unless it's an emergency. read more
