I went in Audiodriven because the aftermarket stereo on my recently purchased Jeep Wrangler stopped working. Most places I called said that you just have to buy a new radio. No way!! It was only radio and Apple CarPlay that wouldn't work. Thomas at Audiodriven went out to my jeep and got it fixed right up and working with a few touches of the buttons. He was super kind and he really cared about the functioning of my stereo. He recommended a new cord for my CarPlay which I without hesitation purchased from him. He answered additional questions about the cameras that were installed and not working. I will be going back to get that fixed and my radio updated. I highly recommend this establishment. I originally took my car to another shop to put an amp in. The other place did a horrible job at putting the amp in properly. Horrible feedback, music cut in and out, and put a different amp then we originally talk about putting in. The owner avoids all my calls afterwards and makes excuses and lost $400 for an amp that was only worth 129.99 retail. As a recommendation from a coworker I called audiondriven and I talk to Thomas about my problem, he said if I can make in today he will look at it. Later on that day I came to the shop, he dropped everything to look at my problem while also helping customers. He showed me everything that the other shop did wrong. None of the wires soldered down, everything wrap up and tangled and no care was taken for my car. I could of had a better shot of doing it myself and I can only pump gas and change out my air filter. Thomas readjusted the amp that was in my car to make it manageable and highly suggest to put a better amp in soon as possible. He took care of me that day when I was freaking out thinking my new car I just bought a couple months back that sound system was going to crash and I gotten ripped off by the amp I was sold. Sucks he had to fixes someone else's mistakes. Two weeks later I took his advice and put in a jl audio amp and then alpine speakers. Now my system breaths new life. I highly recommend this place. I have used Audio Driven for over 6year's Thomas has always been up front with cost and installation times . Ive had more people ask me where my system was installed and I always refer Audio Driven. When it has come to car audio I have always gone through Crutchfield (ordering a cd player, speakers) and doing installation by myself. Let me say save yourself the frustration and aggravation and go see Tom!!! I am not an audio expert so it was a major pain to do installation by myself and it showed (I cracked the plastic frame around the door handle on both driver and passenger side doors along with messing up the plastic trim around my rear window as well as busting numerous plastic clips when trying to remove plastic trim, interior fabric, etc). I always have past Audiodriven (I live in Oak Forest) so after doing further research and finding that Tom worked at Music in Motion and that Audiodriven had received rave reviews I decided to go to them after the CD player and 6X9 rear speakers in my car went kaput. Tom was absolutely amazing. He didn't try to sell me the most expensive cd player or set of speakers. He asked what I was looking for and what I needed. I ended up getting an Kenwood Excelon CD player with bluetooth and usb/aux ports and Kenwood Excelon 6X9 rear speakers. The price of everything plus installation was very fair. Needless to say I went back two more times to get the speakers in the front drivers and passengers side replaced as well as get an amp. Tom was amazing and gives excellent customer service. Vehicle: 2012 Volkswagen Jetta MKVI Speakers Installed: JL Audio C2-650 Thomas and Audiodriven staff, where do I start? Extremely knowledgeable, professional, reasonable, and skilled at what they do. First off I want to caveat this saying that I was looking at BestBuy and Crutchfield in order to get new front speakers for my vehicle due to them being blown out. Unfortunately BestBuy did not have the parts I needed so I decided to do a quick Google Maps search and Audiodriven Inc. showed up as it was on the way home, well I decided to stop by and it was the best decision I could have made. My experience, walking into the door it was an extreme surprise as to how clean and professional it looked. Honestly had the feeling of the Magnolia Home Theater section in BestBuy. After about two minutes of looking around and being in awe, Thomas walked in from the back. He greeted me, asked me what he can do for me and I told him my situation. He DID NOT try to oversell me or try to gouge me, he told me what he thought I needed and what was best. Even though I asked about an amp, he priced it up but still recommended me to try without an amp first and if I want more power just to come back and get an amp in there. After giving me a recommended speaker and dropping EVERY SINGLE PIECE of knowledge on me about them. One of the great things that really stuck with me with Thomas was that right away he asked if he can sit in the car with me and listen to some music to see what I was working with. He finagled with the settings and knew what to do immediately. The speakers he recommended me had tweeters he said that they would be best placed in the A-Pillars which had no tweeters in there. He said they will cut out a hole and professionally install it like it was straight out of the factory, telling me that having the tweeters there would heighten the sound stage and make it sound like it is in front of me instead of below me. After about an hour of consulting and dropping audio knowledge, he gave me quote and I knew I was sold. I dropped off my vehicle the next morning. After about 4 hours, it was finally done and it was well worth the wait and price. IF you need ANY stereo work done, I HIGHLY recommend Thomas and the Audiodriven staff! read more

AudioDriven is the place to go! My personal experience I had one of my friends install a new audio system in my vehicle consisting of 6 new speakers, subwoofer and amplifier. The installation went alright, but a few issues occurred. The car speakers now had alternator noise and the sound felt unbalanced. I decided to take my car to a shop near my house in Alsip, what a mistake. They got rid of the noise and returned the vehicle. They achieved this by adding noise suppressors and only 1 rear speaker and 2 front tweeters were playing audio. Frustrated, I was referred to Tom at AudioDriven by a friend. I called him on Thursday and he offered to diagnose the car the same day! Got an appointment on Saturday and within the hour he made the system sing. Tom is very knowledgeable, and truly cares about his customers. All my car speakers are working, wires cleaned up, no noise can be heard, and they are calibrated to perfection. CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!!! I wouldn't recommend a person have an auxiliary cord installed, let alone a full audio system at this shop! I am completely disgusted by the owners response to my opinion of the systems installed by AudioDriven. In short, the system I came to his shop with was a temporary system until I found a shop that could do a quality custom installation. His response attacking that system is utterly wrong and disrespectful. He understood I was there to upgrade systems the first time a set foot in his shop. REALLY, how high of an expectation can one have of a system purchased from Best Buy? So why the shots TOM? The fact of the matter is that each system he installed had flaws. Flaws that I sought him to correct since his shop performed the installation BEFORE expressing my opinion publicly when he was unwilling or unable to resolve the issues. -the original system blew a sub within a short time after installation while being played on very low volume. The speaker started smoking and quickly filled the cabin of my coupe. True, Tom replaced the sub but it shouldn't happen if the install job was done correct. -the second installation on my other vehicle took place immediately after completing the first car taken to AudioDriven. Hence the sub mentioned above was able to blow while the second installation was taking place. -the Volvos computers would power completely down as the subs played, no matter the level. Went back to Tom, he said I needed a new battery that could handle to voltage being drawn. Okay sir, give me your best batter. Whatever you recommend. Guess what happened from there? Yep the same thing. Don't get me wrong, the system LOOKED gorgeous. It played well when it played BUT couldn't be played often which defeats the entire purpose of buying an aftermarket audio system -the third car, a BMW this time, had the system transferred from the valve to it following a car accident. That installation had its flaws as well. That system would play and then suddenly the output of one sub would reduce to half its volume. WHY DID I RETURN TO THOMAS'S SHOP AFTER HAVING ISSUES WITH THE FIRST TWO INSTALLATIONS? HIS WARRANTY STIPULATES ALL WORK WOULD BE VOID IF TOUCHED BY ANYONE OTHER THAN HIS SHOP. I RETURNED IN ATTEMPT TO SAFEGUARD MY 10K SPENT AT HIS SHOP. What's worse is everything is now torn out of both cars, not because of vandalism but because I'd rather listen to a factory system than to a faulty aftermarket audio system. read more

I purchased Kicker DS60 coax speakers for a Subaru Outback Sport, intent to do the install myself. After reviewing the accompanying instructions, I realized the job needed a professional. A quick Google search and I found Audiodriven and Tom. He had gotten good reviews, so I emailed him and he gave me a reasonable estimate. I scheduled an appointment and he was able to get me in even though I was early. Though the storefront looks small from the outside, the inside is immaculate - one of the nicest I've even been in. Scented candles, a very friendly dog (sheds though), wi-fi, plenty of seats, cable TV (basic), and spacious - very well thought-out. Craftsmanship - not a word I'd associate w/car audio but Tom puts that level of quality and care in a basic speaker install (remember that I didn't purchase them from the shop). As Tom wrote me, "We use Masonite deckhouses and 3M strip caulking for a air tight seal to the door. We also solder all connections and offer a lifetime warranty on all our labor." This was done quickly and efficiently and the car was pristine when returned. Tom is very knowledgeable. A car before mine had an terrific sounding system (the car owner gave me an audition). I asked Tom to give me an estimate for the modest needs of my car. Again, the price was reasonable ($900 for an amp, wiring, labor, etc and $350 for a subwoofer), so I will be seeing Tom in April for those upgrades. read more

I purchased a used Kenwood head unit, amp, and subwoofer from eBay and found the task of installing them a little daunting. I drive past Audiodriven almost every day and finally noticed their sign (it doesn't look like a mobile audio installation place from the outside). I called them up and spoke to Tom and told him what I was looking to get done. He was really cool and asked me what parts I had and told me what he recommended (like capacitor, which I forgot to get) and set up an appointment for the following week. I hung out during the installation and Tom answered all my questions and was really easy to talk to. He was knowledgeable and the installation went really well. The bass from the sub is awesome and with the insulation that was installed I don't have annoying rattles. I just want to say I have never written a comment on social media before this, Tom and his professional staff deserves all the credit he has worked for throughout his career and earned it!! Tom is professional, caring and ethical. He takes the time to do things the RIGHT WAY. I know this because I went to 2 other shops in the south suburbs that were closer to where I live in Mokena/Frankfort and was nothing but disappointed. Explained everything I had to install they gave me a price and when my car was ripped apart in their shop, I received a call saying we cannot do the work at the quoted price over the phone and that I would need to leave car for 2-3 more days. Tom did the third instal in my new Jeep. I was so disappointed in the service and work done from other shops locally. I was so let down by the two shops. They didn't even fully hook up the component speakers in my new jeep and assured me everything was correct. The other shop promised everything would work and when they had my car ripped to shreds called me to say nothing would work and I would need to pay a lot more money to make it right. Very frustrating. To add to it the first time I went over the railroad tracks the system cut out. Now Back to Tom. Tom walked me through everything they did wrong and took the time to explain why it was wrong.
