They were able to fit me in same day to get my windshield done. Overall happy with their service and price.

A great place to get your windows tinted. I just purchased a 2015 Kia Optima and it needed the windows done to look better for me. I took it in without an appointment and waited about 3 hours which was acceptable to me. It appears they did a great job, but they told me it'll be 2-3 weeks for the bubbles and streaks to come out by drying. I hope that's true or I'll be back getting them redone! I'm not sure if it was because it was busy, but they gave me the car back with fingerprints an smudges all over the windows and outside of the car. Not too professional in my opinion. Clean your mess ... Especially on someone else's property, please! Another small tip, get more long term seating for your customers. It'll be more comfortable for those waiting. The 3 plastic chairs don't cut it. I'll update my review as I see progress in the 2-3 days. :) I hope this helps with someone's decision to choose Car Teks for their window tinting needs.

A friend and client recommended I go to accurate Autoglass because they were cheaper than the dealership. Should be named INACCURATE Autoglass. I dropped off my car around noon. He called me a couple hours in and told me he was having problems. It was after 5 o'clock when I reached back out asking what is going on. He had told me it should only take an hour or two. 3 at most. He told me to come back to the shop, and he will talk to me about what was going on. He claimed that when he took my old motor out that it was in fact burned up and needed to be replaced. Then he hooked up the new motor, and it worked at first, but then when he bolted it in, it stopped working. He said he tried everything he could think of and he doesn't know why it's not working. He told me with the old motor my equinox was throwing 13 codes, and now with a new motor, it's only throwing two. So I said, well what are the two codes it's throwing? So he grabs his tablet and has me read it as if I know anything about car codes. It's basically Latin to me. One of them said there was a problem with the Moon roof and one of them said there was a problem with the driver window. So I questioned him why there would be a problem with the driver window, and he said well, maybe because I disconnected the battery and that's the only window that has automatic up and down. I said did you check and make sure the driver window is working? You're not gonna send me home with my car with an inoperable window, are you? And he goes wait a minute let me go check. And I was right. The driver window was not functioning properly and he said he needed to reset it . Now mind you, I don't know anything about cars, but I would think he would check this before he sent me home with my car. Should I have to tell him to make sure the driver's window is working when he's clearly seeing a code that reads it's not? Grr..... So then I said well what are we gonna do about the moonroof now? And he says he did the job I hired me for. He put in the motor and he installed it. It's not his fault that it's not working. He didn't diagnose the problem. With his hands in the air like that somehow absolved him of responsibility. I said you've got to be joking. You expect me to pay you the full amount when I'm walking out of here and my moon roof still doesn't work? Why is it my fault that you don't know how to fix this? And he said there must be another problem. He said maybe the switch had gone bad or maybe the entire tracking mechanism had gone bad. Maybe the shade motor needs replaced as well. He said he didn't really know. He said he would call GM on Monday and see if they had any ideas, but if they didn't have any suggestions, he said he was going to wash his hands of this and literally clapped his hands in front of my face. I said I'm not comfortable paying you the full amount when I didn't get what I paid for. I said I'm happy to pay you for the motor. And he said he's not comfortable with that. He said worked all day on my car. I said I understand that, but you didn't do the job I hired you to do. Again he repeated himself that he didn't diagnose the problem and this isn't his problem anymore. He did what he was hired to do. So I reluctantly handed it over $500 cash of the total $625 quoted. And I drove my car home without a working moonroof and -$500 & no guarantee that anything he did helped. It could have made it worse. Monday night I reached out to him to ask what he found out about my moonroof. He said he would call me the next day. Did he even call? Probably not. Tuesday he emails me a bulletin from GM stating that there's a problem with this make and model regarding the moonroof, and he credited the remaining portion of my bill. He said I just need to go to a dealership. So I went to Team Chevy Valpo three days later, and they fixed it in five minutes. They said he clearly didn't reset the window. That's all it needed. Clearly Paul at accurate Autoglass should not be taking on this kind of business if he doesn't have the knowledge to do this properly. And I feel like he took advantage of me financially. If he was right and this was a bigger problem than a motor that needed replacing, he should've just called me and said that I need to take it to the dealership at that point. He shouldn't have expected the full amount knowing he didn't do his job and passing the blame off on GM. Be wary, Valpo. This was a stressful, frustrating and intimidating experience.

I contacted Jaime in the shop and she sent over to my insurance claims department that "her analysis" is that it didn't happen due to the accident and that they went in that area. How did they do repairs or an estimate if they didn't open the hood?! How was the dipstick broken and not found during your estimate of repairs and how could they not be in that area when it is right in the front?! They completely ignored even looking at the window. When I go to leave, the car is dead. Uncaring customer service and incompetent shop workers. This place is a joke! Avoid Govert like the plague!

When I asked about warranty service I was told by Employee Willie that my receipt is all I would need for warrnaty service anywhere Line-x bedliners are sold. Two days later the bed of the liner bubbled up. I contacted Line-x corporate and eventually spoke to Regional Manager Kent Henderson. I requested to have the problem fixed at a local Franchise closer to my home. Here is the response I got: From: Steve Visvadra Subject: Re: Line-X Request Peter, Even after 15 years in business,I have not done any repairs (warranty or other) on another shops work.Since that is the case,I am finding out that there are necessary steps that need to be taken by the customer, Line-X Corp. and the original shop that installed the liner in question. I cannot do any work without confirmation from Line-X Corp. (Kent Henderson) and even if that is O.K.d the most I would be re-embursed would be $750.00.Unfortunately that would not even cover half of what I would charge for a job of this type.i.e.stripping the bed approx. 8 hours x $90.00 per hour,R&R bed and ship back and forth to sandblaster approx.$450.00,sandblast bed approx.$350.00,prime bed $100.00 and then install bedliner $520.00.So you can see the spot I would be put in even if it was sent to me. Unfortunately that is the best I can tell you at this point in time. If you have any other questions along the way, feel free to contact me anytime.Like I said earlier, probably best by e-mail. I will give you the phone # and e-mail address for Kent that I have and hopefully you will have better luck getting a hold of him.He is a good man and very sensitive to the Line-X brand,so I am sure you will get this sorted out with him. Steve Visvadra Owner/Operator Line-X of Bartlett Since apparantly getting repairs at your nearest local franchise is not an option despite claims to the contrary on the Line-x website The regional manager, Kent Henderson set up a time for me to have the problem fixed at the Schererville Franchise on June 2nd, 2014. On June 3, 2014 I returned to pick up my vehicle and found that there was extensive overspray on the front of the bed lip. I requested this be fixed and was told by both Kent Henderson and franchise owner Chris that "I wasn't sold a warranty", and was refused further assistance. This is clearly violation of truth in advertising for both the warranty and the ability to obtain local warranty service. I have filed FTC complaints on both counts of false advertising, filed a claim with my auto insurance for the overspray damage, and am disputing the lack of warranty, and warranty service with my credit card company.
