New Vents!
Larry D.

We needed all new vents and crawl space covers and were highly referred to Accurate Rodent & Wildlife by family and they didn't disappoint. Sean and Javier came out and did a fantastic job. They were efficient, knowledgeable and made sure everything met our expectations. Job well done!

When we discovered a giant nope-rope throwing an uninvited rave in our garage, it was less Snakes on a Plane and more Sssnake Squatting in My Space! I was two seconds from torching the place and fleeing to a snake-free dimension, but these snake-whispering legends zoomed in faster than you can say "hiss-terical emergency." In just 30 minutes, their tech was on-site, charming a massive gopher snake like it was auditioning for a Pixar villain role. Twenty minutes later, that legless freeloader was evicted to a fancy mountain resort. The tech even cleaned up the garage chaos he moved to grab the slithery intruder--talk about VIP service! Thanks for saving us from becoming reluctant snake landlords!

The one way trap the possum left by.

Knowing I had a skunk under my home, I called this company. The response was extremely fast, which I was grateful for. Logan came and set 2 traps, one outside, one under the home, both had cameras, Two skunks were caught, and Logan informed me there was a possum living under there. He set a one way trap, also with a camera, and saw the possum leave. Logan was, polite, professional and informative. I cannot thank him enough, and I highly recommend this company.

Sean traps the skunks by baiting them to go inside these crates. Door humanely closes behind them after they enter.

Without a doubt, Sean knows his critters. This is the second time we used him to get rid of skunks that like to eat our hillside plants. The skunks wander into the yard and then make homes in the ground - while systematically destroying the entire root system of the hillside. Sean came out the same day I texted him, and the skunk was caught the same night! He's recommending that we keep the traps for a few days, just in case there are more. His service is thorough, timely, courteous, and educational! He explained a lot about skunk habits so that we can keep our eyes out for future invasions. He charged us a flat rate to come out, assess the situation, and place traps. Then charged a flat rate for each critter caught. Super fair and very reasonable. Rodent Detective Service rocks! Case closed!

Humanely and safely removing wildlife, and transporting to a licensed wildlife rehab rehabilitator .

They added cement to even out the surface

I saw different animals in my ring camera, raccoons, skunks, stray cats, oppossums walking down my lawn. I checked all possible hiding spots, and I saw there was a broken crawlspace screen where my water pipes under the house are connected to our water heater. I know i need a company to fix it asap. I called a lot of companies. But Wow.. with this company, i was really amazed by their outstanding service. Easy to make an appointment with them and they were very prompt in answering my emails. They did not remove the old screens that are still intact, but added white vents to hide them from the critters. For the old damaged screens, they patched it up, applied new screens then new screens the vents. They crawled under the house to make sure there are no animals before they seal everything up and disinfected. And they even applied new cement next to the newly installed crawlspace door to even out the surface. And lastly, after everything was done, they fee was very affordable, worth every dollar! Now our crawlspace vents look so aesthetically pleasing to look at! I would really recommend this company!!

I also noticed there were a lot of droppings, which turned out to be rat feces. After contacting multiple pest control vendors in order to take care of the pest infestations, I found Pasadena Pest Control to be the most transparent in pricing, as well as one of the most detailed on what exactly each type of service would consist of. Looking at their website, I had a feeling this company would probably provide excellent services, as it is well laid out and full of information. It includes general information on pests and of course the services they provide to combat them. I opted for their insect service, as well as their rodent service. Karrie did and has been doing a great job communicating with me and scheduling my services. Erik who's been the one conducting the pest control service itself, has been great and has been doing an awesome job. For the rodent service(s), he pointed to and showed me vulnerable spots around my home (including going on the roof) that could lead to a rodent intrusion. After his inspection, he provided a comprehensive and detailed report on what would need to be done to eliminate the infestation. As for the insect service, he also didn't mind answering many of my questions on what I can do myself to help prevent or at least mitigate future infestations. After a few weeks, I've noticed much less rat droppings. One spot that had the biggest rat feces has none after his service. I also haven't seen a brown widow since he sprayed the exterior of my home. And finally, every crawling insect I've seen inside my home since the spraying has been found dead, which means the spray is working. I highly recommend Pasadena Pest Control if you're looking for a pest control service. Thank you Pasadena Pest!

1 Star I had a very…read moredisappointing experience with this company. I was charged without being clearly informed of the cost or authorizing the charge beforehand. Good businesses communicate pricing upfront and obtain customer approval before billing. After disputing the charge, I was threatened with having the account reported to collections and negatively affecting my credit. I also had concerns about whether the service was actually performed as claimed. Because of these concerns, I filed a complaint and requested documentation showing the work that was completed. I believe customers deserve transparency, clear communication, and proof of services before being billed. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.

He tracked down where they were getting in and put in a custom one-way door, basically an eviction notice they couldn't argue with. The raccoons moved out, nobody got hurt, and I finally got my house back. He came back out later and built a custom crawl space door so they can't sneak back in for round two. Solid work and it actually looks good. Renee was easy to talk to, answered fast, and did exactly what he said he'd do. No runaround, no drama. In addition, he was very thorough and honest during the process of requesting a quote. Him and his team came out, secured the areas that were compromised, and caught the one rat causing a ruckus. We haven't had an issue since. On a different note, we had a skunk get a little too comfortable in our yard a few weeks ago, and Renee was quick to respond, quick to come by and set up a humane trap, and within a few days the baby skunk was caught. They came by and assured me the skunk would be rehomed in the wild. We love that. I hope we don't have to call Renee again, but if we do no worries. We know he'll do the job right. I only recommend him. Thank you, Renee and team!

I'd like to update my review since my first stellar review was for the initial estimate process…read moreonly and I said I would update (but forgot). It's been 5 years and we've had plenty of people up in our attic since Rodent Masters completed our job and any time someone goes up there, I beg them to check and double check to ensure there are no rodent droppings. During this time, we have not heard a peep in the attic which is a complete 180 from what we were hearing before - it always sounded like the rats were having a party up there in the middle of the night. The process took about a month from start to finnish because the first thing they do is cover and patch all holes or entrances up so that nothing can get in (or out) and not just outside of the house but inside the attic and inside every single area from within the house. It's a LOT of work but they did it very well. Then, they came back and, in our case, because things were so bad, they sucked out all of the insulation and then reinsulated the entire attic with much higher quality material than what had been removed. Then they came back on final time to ensure there was no activity. So, I have no reason not to continue recommending Rodent Masters and I have for the last 5 years. I do think I will contact them soon though just to have someone do a walk around to ensure there are no new holes that have developed since they were last here. Highly recommend and I'm glad to see that the reviews continue to be outstanding since the one I gave 5 years ago!

ONE STAR FOR SHOWING UP ON TIME. ZERO STARS FOR EVERYTHING THAT MATTERED…read more I hired Rodent Masters because I have documented ongoing rat activity around my private patio at my apartment for approximately a year. I have five security cameras recording the activity, including rats repeatedly on the ground in my private patio where my small dog walks and sniffs. I explained the situation to Max in detail, including how distressed I was, and told him I was prepared to pay for an exterminator's help myself. At their request, I obtained my landlord's permission for them to perform the work. The day before the appointment, I went even further: I sent Max a five-page presentation with photographs and a diagram of my property, identifying suspected burrows, storage areas with rat activity/droppings, openings I wanted sealed, the water-heater closet, planters/root systems and other possible nesting and entry locations. I also explained that I have a small dog and wanted safe, enclosed trapping options. I specifically asked whether they could perform the work the same day if possible. The technician arrived on time, but the inspection I expected simply did not happen. He focused on whether rats might be inside my apartment even though I had reported an outdoor problem. When I asked whether he had seen my presentation, he told me it was "at the office." He did not open and inspect the storage cupboards where I had reported rat activity and droppings. He did not investigate the suspected burrows. He did not seal any openings. He looked directly at an opening into one of my storage areas and did nothing about it. Most incredibly, while standing on my patio he explained that rats like protected areas around water heaters, yet he never even opened the doors to inspect the two water heaters I had specifically identified in my presentation. After all of this, the primary recommendation I received was to buy mountain lion or fox urine and spray it myself. After I complained, Max initially told me in writing that he was "very confused" because he had forwarded my list to the technician and explained the situation to him. He later said they were trying to "save me money" and the technician did not want to take my money "by just setting traps." That explanation makes no sense. This was supposed to be a free estimate. I never told anyone I was on a budget. I had specifically asked whether they could do the work that same day and was prepared to pay. Nobody even gave me an estimate or presented treatment options and allowed me to decide what I wanted to spend. Max also brought up my doggie door afterward. I did not tell Max about a doggie door the day before. I mentioned it casually to the technician while we were already standing on my patio. I never reported rats inside my apartment. He insisted on coming in and looking under my sink and told me I had no evidence of rat existence. My complaint is simple: I hired a rodent professional to investigate documented rat activity, identify nesting/entry areas, recommend appropriate trapping and exclusion, and give me an estimate. Instead, the specific areas I identified were not meaningfully investigated, no holes were sealed, I received no estimate, and I was essentially told to buy predator urine. Had Max simply told me after receiving my five-page presentation that this wasn't the type of work they were going to perform, I would have thanked him and continued looking for another company. Instead, I stopped searching because I believed help was coming the next morning. That lost time matters when you are already dealing with an ongoing problem. I also let Max know how traumatized I was by these rats and how I wasn't sleeping at night. He seemed so empathetic and told me not to worry. Why pretend you want to help and then lie about our initial conversation. P.S. I saw another reviewer say someone from this company arrived in an unmarked white van, which the company disputed in its response. The technician who came to my home also arrived in an unmarked white van, and I have the security-camera footage showing it.
