Danny the PharmD is beyond helpful. He will tell you which medication requires a prior auth and if it's a pricey branded medication, will find copay vouchers or coupons and print them to find you the best copay price for your meds. If your medication needs to be switched to what is preferred on your prescription benefits formulary, he makes the call to your doctor's office for you. He also is able to get tough medications on a Saturday from his supplier. For example, I called Rite Aid for the same medication and the pharmacist there said I would have to wait until Monday, while Danny had my script ready and filled on Saturday. His consults are in plain English, and easy to understand. Danny is personable and friendly. His pharmacy is also a UPS Access Point and he makes sure we know when we have filled scripts and packages ready for pick up. When we have packages to drop off for UPS pick up with prepaid labels, he gladly takes them, as well. Accurate Pharmacy also carries daily products that I use and need at great and affordable prices. Danny is truly a neighborhood pharmacist and gives you the best customer service he can! In turn, I will be visiting Danny for my pharmaceutical and consumer goods needs because he does a better job than Duane Reade, CVS, and Rite Aid combined. read more

If I could leave 10 stars I would. I switched to Accurate during the Pandemic when I received pills in the mail from the local CVS and there were 2 different types of pills in the bottle. When I brought it up to them they told me it couldn't happen a robot packs them. No one cared, no one called me back. So I immediately found a human who cares about others and that is Danny. This is the pharmacy you thought only existed in movies and tv shows from the past. Danny knows his customers. He texts when a prescription is ready. He knows more about healthcare than most of the doctors I have been to. He is thorough and has always answered any question I have had. He never makes you feel like you are just a customer, he makes you feel like a friend or family member. Despite it's compact size, Accurate Pharmacy is an efficient, full service pharmacy, with first-rate customer service. We recently moved into the neighborhood and I had surgery which required a number of complicated post-op meds. I was so glad we tried out Accurate Pharmacy. Danny and the staff at Accurate made the process go much faster and smoother than my old large chain pharmacy ever did. He texted us when medications were ready for pick up, and helped with the communication between the insurance company regarding refills and authorizations. After a long, unproductive relationship with a well-established pharmacy on Fifth Ave near 9th St I took a chance and jumped ship. I was guided to Accurate Pharmacy by the Yelp reviews here and am so glad I made the move. I was pushed over the edge by a five week long effort to renew a prescription for Vitamin D. Vitamin D! The pharmacy said I needed to call the doctor's office, the doctor's office said the pharmacy needed to call them. Round and round we go... The pharmacist at Accurate, Danny, just took the whole thing over. Not enough for him to call the office, he would only talk to the doctor. He had one prescription annoyingly written for 30 days written for 90. He even changed the child-proof caps on the bottles to the simple snap caps. He made a bunch of tiny irritations go magically away in two days instead of five weeks. I don't think I realized my level of frustration with Pharmacy X until the divorce papers came through. This place is the definition of what makes small business amazing. Danny will go out of his way to help you however you need and always had a smile on his face. One time I was late to pick up a prescription and the store had closed for the evening. I texted him on his personal cell (he gives it out to customers) to let him know I'd be back tomorrow and he told me wait a moment. I always wanted a drugstore nearby and when this first opened I had reservations because it was so small (I was thinking more like CVS) but I love it. As everyone has said, Danny is awesome. We've moved our prescriptions here from Costco and if there is any product you want and he doesn't have it, he'll order it. A guy came in while I was in there the other day and wanted Vitamin D in the biggest jar possible. Danny had a smaller jar of Vitamin D but told him he'd order it and it would be in the next day.
