On the day of inspection, I waited around until 10:15 before calling Sunrise Pest to make sure there wasn't a problem. Dispatcher gave me inspector Bob's number to speak directly with him. When I spoke with inspector Bob (owner) he informed me that he came by the property earlier that morning, before our scheduled time to meet, and decided that it wasn't worth the $150 to perform the pest inspection. He did not call, left me no voicemails, no text message, nothing. Very unprofessional. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

From the moment I spoke with Debbie to set up the appointment to the day of our fumigation it was constant communication. As some may or my not know, having your home tented is very labor intensive. Cleaning out food, spices, plants, animals; anything living or that you would consume has to go. Additionally, the perimeter of the home has to be cleaned up, plants cut back, any rocks or bark in flower beds close to house has to be pulled back, decks partially removed, etc in order for the tent to seal around the house. Because we rent the property management company was supposed to do the outside work as we are not going to be responsible for taking apart the house or killing any existing plants. Our property management company did not do that so the day of the fumigation, as we were on the road an hour out (you have to leave for 3 to 4 days) I get a call form Phil with Nor-Cal saying none of the work was done and no one was there to let his guys into our home for the management company. They were going to have to reschedule. My initial reactions was , lest just say not a good one. Phil took the time to talk with me and explained that he would try to get to it the next day. I called the management company to ask why the prep work didn't get done and they said they'd send someone to take care of it. Day 2, another call from Phil of Nor-Cal, nothings been done! He assures me that his guys will just take care of it and we would be able to return as scheduled. ..And they did! they also put the deck and fence back together, locked up our home and left a note that one of the guys had broke our sprayer to the hose. WOW!!! Honesty, integrity and AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! I know this is long but I think people need to know what these guys did to accommodate us and took up the slack when the ones responsible didn't follow through. Frank came out to inspect, there was dry rot under sidings, the deck was completely rotted and swaying back and forth. HOA is good for nothing- so I had to take care of it, out of pocket. The cost was up there. HOA only covering 9k and the rest was on us. Pricey, but done right. Frank is a good guy, he explained everything and anything that I needed, he followed up with, so I appreciated the communication. Things ate getting mighty expensive to repair nowadays, but I wanted it done right. I was impressed. Employees were thoughtful, professional, and respectful. They worked hard and cleaned up after themselves. The work was more than I expected- turned out beautifully!! Thanks everyone for your hard work.

Now I'm older and wiser and decided to hire professionals to spray instead, so I wouldn't have to have anxiety and mini heart attacks every time I'd see a black widow. Looked on Yelp to find a company nearby my parents' home with high Yelp reviews. Good Earth was my first choice. Getting pricing info and making an appointment was seamless with Yelp's messaging system. Kevin was so helpful in keeping me apprised of the process and the appointment time/date. On the day of, Zack showed up promptly and with a smile. I was so surprised when he told me my one-time treatment would actually allow follow-up visits within 30 days. He told me the first treatment would be spraying and then the second treatment would be getting rid of the webs. Wow, what a great deal! Both days Zack was punctual, friendly and professional. We even talked about the celebrities he looks like! (You'll have to meet him in person to guess which celebrity) On the second treatment day, he came armed with a cobweb brush and I actually felt kinda embarrassed because it was like he was doing housekeeping for the spiderwebs! We'd requested ahead of time to have the garage treated as well (because normally they only treat the outside unless we ask them to spray anywhere else, in which case they're more than happy to do so). My wife opened our garage up before heading out with our kids, and the tech could've easily finished the job and just moved on. But instead, he knocked on the door afterward to let us know he was done so we could shut the garage. He specifically said he didn't want us to leave it open longer than needed. Some might say that's just part of the job, but the truth is, small gestures like that aren't so common anymore. At least not in my experience. It showed genuine thoughtfulness and care--and that matters a lot to us. Great service, as always.
