Coby, the technician who usually services our property, is always pleasant and spends a significant amount of time at the house to make sure that everything is treated correctly. On the handful of occasions when we have had issues arise between service appointments, the company has always done a decent job of getting somebody to the property as quickly as possible to address our concerns. The ease of getting in touch with company personnel, the courteous nature of the staff, and the quality of the work are all reasons why I am happy to work with this company and recommend them to others.

In the past, I'd simply arm myself with a can of Spider Killer and spray them as I encountered them. Now I'm older and wiser and decided to hire professionals to spray instead, so I wouldn't have to have anxiety and mini heart attacks every time I'd see a black widow. Looked on Yelp to find a company nearby my parents' home with high Yelp reviews. Good Earth was my first choice. Getting pricing info and making an appointment was seamless with Yelp's messaging system. Kevin was so helpful in keeping me apprised of the process and the appointment time/date. On the day of, Zack showed up promptly and with a smile. I was so surprised when he told me my one-time treatment would actually allow follow-up visits within 30 days. He told me the first treatment would be spraying and then the second treatment would be getting rid of the webs. Wow, what a great deal! Both days Zack was punctual, friendly and professional. We even talked about the celebrities he looks like! (You'll have to meet him in person to guess which celebrity) On the second treatment day, he came armed with a cobweb brush and I actually felt kinda embarrassed because it was like he was doing housekeeping for the spiderwebs! Excellent experience and so far I haven't seen any spiders left! Highly recommend this company. Thank you so much, Good Earth, for helping me get rid of the scary spiders so I can have peace of mind to clean the house. :)

We had them out…read moreyesterday for our regular bi-monthly treatment--and while I didn't catch the young man's name, he was excellent. We'd requested ahead of time to have the garage treated as well (because normally they only treat the outside unless we ask them to spray anywhere else, in which case they're more than happy to do so). My wife opened our garage up before heading out with our kids, and the tech could've easily finished the job and just moved on. But instead, he knocked on the door afterward to let us know he was done so we could shut the garage. He specifically said he didn't want us to leave it open longer than needed. Some might say that's just part of the job, but the truth is, small gestures like that aren't so common anymore. At least not in my experience. It showed genuine thoughtfulness and care--and that matters a lot to us. Great service, as always.

We have a contract with Earthwise but it was going to take them a week to send someone out so I called around to the local Pest Control companies I found on Yelp. All Clear was one of the two companies that returned my call and thankfully they were able to get a technician out sooner. They sent Grant out a few days later to evaluate our property. Grant let me know ahead of time he was coming so I was prepared. He was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He evaluated the situation and spent 45 minutes going over my options with me. In the end a lot of what could be done was dependent on me purchasing products myself and doing work but I felt a lot more confident about what to do and how to proceed. His information was extremely valuable and he didn't even charge me for the visit! Several weeks later and the rats are far fewer in number. I would definitely recommend calling All Clear Pest Control for your pest problems.

He was very thorough and took a lot of reference photos and explained what he was doing. We agreed to look at getting a new system and set up a meeting with Kyle for later the afternoon. Kyle was also amazing and went over the pricing and options, you never want to pay for a new AC unit but it's a necessity here so and they made sure we had a great deal. He was generous enough to start setting up fans before confirming to work with them and was very informative and communicative throughout the whole water mitigation process. Always showed up on time and was responsive to any questions I had. Him and his crew were awesome during the demo portion. Put floor and wall protection down and cleaned up after the job was done. Highly recommend Chris and his team to help you out. Very professional and glad It was a good and smooth process coming from horrible situation with water damage. This has been an upsetting experience. We set up pest control for rats and the guy came out and laid the traps. He then never came back as agreed upon. He came back on a different day when we weren't there to let him in, put a note on the door that he missed us, and we got charged $164 for nothing. I called once and my husband called twice and our messages were never returned. I finally got a hold of them after about a month and said we would be happy to pay if they would perform the agreed upon service. They said that they would not, because we were behind on our bill. I said our trust level was low because they had not come out as they said they would, and she said they could come out the next day. I said I am not home during the week, and they needed to come on the weekend as agreed upon. They said they don't work on the weekend. That does not make any sense because the initial service was on the weekend. They said they only do initial services on the weekend. I said then it would not work out because my husband and I both work during the week and we would need to be home to let them in to the attic, where the rats are. I can't take a day off of work every time the pest guy comes out. I feel that they should have told us initially that they only come out during the week, and I am not going to pay when we were misled and did not receive the agreed upon service. This is ridiculous. They have been rude and inflexible and have not done what they initially agreed to. Save your money and your time and go with someone else. read more

Service is absolutely the best with Pinnacle Pest Control. I wouldn't call any other company. I have used them several times over the years and am always very satisfied with their service. Prices are reasonable and the techs always came out to my house very quickly when needed for a pest problem. Particularly with a rodent and racoon problem which I had recently the last couple weeks, their pest technician Socoro is top notch, extremely knowledgeable, reliable, thorough, and patient and she made sure the problem is completely taken care of and resolved. She also puts you at ease with her competence and pleasant manner. I appreciate that when dealing with a small animal problem which can be such a hassle and stressful. Also their repair technician, Soto, was just great. He came out to repair and reinforce the broken vents the very same day and did an excellent job very quickly. This company has very good technicians and to me thats what a good pest company is all about. If I have any criticism, and it is small, when I called the company for an appointment a couple weeks ago the office staff who answered the phone seemed like a temporary person having trouble taking down my information. It was late in the day near closing time but it was offputting, moreso the next morning when I called first thing and she didn't remember me. I think this was just an exception and I will give the staff person the benefit of doubt because I did call late that evening, and she was very sweet. I had just moved into my newly purchased, 25 year old house and there were signs of rodent droppings in the attic. I called Pinnacle OVER the Christmas holiday and Paul came out that week between Xmas and New Years and took a look at the pest issues. He discovered active rodent issues in both the attic and the storage area over the garage. The previous owners had really let it get out of hand. He emailed me an estimate the next week to identify the entries, close them, replace the ruined insulation, and put out traps. It also included inspection around my whole house and checking for other pests. The next week they came out and did the work. Their work was excellent, in fact, they had to remove even more of insulation than they had originally thought. They closed out the points of entry. Following that, I was assigned a service tech who came by to check the traps. He started by coming over twice a week; then once a week now the traps are being checked every couple of months (my service agreement called for an on-going annual service.) I've had no more signs of trouble to date. I couldn't have been happier with the responsiveness of Pinnacle or the professionalism of the different staffers that have worked with me. I highly recommend this company. In short, the pest issues were worse than I could have imagined and really creeped me out - but the fast service and good work from this company have given me peace of mind living in my new home. read more

A few years ago when my husband and I moved to Davis to be close to family, we felt fortunate to have people whose recommendations we could trust when it came to choosing local services. In that respect, one of the best recommendations we received was that of Pinnacle Pest Control. Last fall critters invaded our attic. While we suspected squirrels, it turned out that rats had invaded as well. Pinnacle sent out an inspector to make suggestions for solving the problem, and although there were auxiliary services offered for a variety of common pest problems, there was no pressure to tackle anything but the immediate problem. Subsequently, there were a series of traps set in the attic and yard. A roofer came out to fix a couple of minor wood rot areas on the roof and various exclusion measures (i.e., sealant, wire mesh) were applied to eliminate entrance points. What impressed my husband and I the most is that when, four months later signs appeared that squirrels may have breached these defenses, Pinnacle immediately set about rectifying the situation with even more effective measures. In addition, a new series of traps were ordered to make sure that these alterations had done their job. All this came under Pinnacle's standard one-year warranty. We can honestly say that every person we have dealt with at Pinnacle has been helpful and competent. In our opinion, this is one business that deserves your consideration. read more

Hi there, I have to say that my husband was quite picky to choose the pest company. Then, Pinnacle pest control was our choice. They did a wonderful job! My son was 3 months old when we started having the pest problem in our house and we, especially me also were very worried about the chemical around the baby Jason R. was our pest service man and he really cared and explained how things worked at the first time he came. (It was our second time though after another service man came to spray at the first time. I was not impressed the way he explained me but it did not bother me much.). Jason R. can answer all questions I asked him and he really did a great job. Today was the second time he came to service at our house- it was the appointment for every three month service. I have to give them the credit that they came out to our house right away after we called them and let them know that we still saw some bugs after spraying once. Pretty much the next day we called them. This showed me that their customer service is really great because they really care their customers! I would highly recommend this company. We had an excellent experience with Pinnacle. After shopping around at other local Pest control companies, Pinnacle offered us the best service at the best price. Their offer came in significantly lower than others and we had nothing but good experiences administratively. Ricardo, our inspector, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly as he walked me through his inspection. He examined a previous inspection we had done by another company and went over as much as I wanted, walking me to the specific places that I did or did not want inspected and ultimately treated. He was also timely in the appointment window he provided. We had dry rot and fungus taken care of by Pinnacle, more specifically by Darren and Gabriel. These two were outstanding. They appeared promptly at the beginning of the appointment window and did not leave until everything was done and to our approval. On a hot day here in Sacramento (hovering around 100 degrees), they went above and beyond me and my wife's expectations and performed every task on the inspection sheet flawlessly. I went with Pinnacle to get a second opinion. The first inspector you use becomes the controlling inspector even if you use another company to fix the problems. I had to drop my loan company and start the whole process again because the inspector from the first company contractually obligated me to three inspections: First (really preliminary) then after you have opened up and exposed the problems a 2nd inspection (looking for more damage) then a final inspection to insure proper completion. They wanted to charge me $6,200 in repairs (with a caveat that they may find more at the 2nd inspection). Oh, they also wrote the contract to call out a specific wood treatment solution that is ONLY sold to Peat Control Companies! A product called Timbor. Went with Mark at Pinnacle and I couldn't be happier. He sat down and explained all the items (section 1 and 2) and the fact that even section two items on a VA Loan will stop the loan. Mark went over tips on how to repair and the process was smooth and effortless. BTW all the items to be fixed cost me $1,200 dollars. I am only giving 1 star because ) is not an option. Pinnacle Pest is the worst pest inspection company in Sacramento and if you value your customers use either Hydrex, North American, Clark, etc etc etc. I am a real estate professional with over 20 years experience and will never use them again. On one inspection the inspector was not even willing to go under the house because of spiders and then I received a bill for a different property that I have never heard of. When I talked to the office manager they were so rude and reluctant to listen to me. They still send the invoice to me almost a year after the supposed inspection with interest charges applied: I just throw it in the garbage because they have no way of collecting this, they do not have my credit card number, anything that I signed asking them to carry out the inspection or any other proof that this inspection was ordered by me. If they continue to attempt to collect in any way I will certainly be increasingly more vocal within the Realtor Association and Property Management community in Sacramento. read more

I was referred to Pinnacle Pest Control after I noticed termite activity in my bedroom wall. Jaime Stubblefield was the inspector that they sent to my home. Jaime arrived on time for my appointment, and couldn't have been any more helpful. He inspected the areas of concern to me, as well as the attic, and sub area. He was very knowledgeable about what was he was speaking about, and he took the time to explain what he found, and how it could be treated. We decided to go ahead with the treatment that Jaime had suggested. We scheduled the treatment two weeks out, however, Pinnacle had an opening, reached out, and ended up coming over for the treatment a week earlier than planned!!!! Jakob, the guy who preformed the treatment, arrived on time as well, and was ready to work. He was at my home for about 4 hours, while he was there, he worked quickly and quietly. I am very pleased with the level of service that I received from Pinnacle Pest Control. If/when I need pest services again, I will be giving them my return business!!! read more

Pinnacle Pest Control's Customer Service...Josh! In recent months, my home had an invasion of rodents in my attic. I used another pest control service, however, this company does not have pest control service for climbing into the attic, which is where the main source of the problem was. I mentioned this to a friend, and she referred me to Pinnacle Pest Control, in specific, she mentioned the technician named Josh. Josh came to my home and investigated the problem in the attic and also located all of the outside entry points. Josh was very thorough, knowledgeable, and super kind. He was a true professional and not to mention, the cost was extremely lower than the other pest control service. He explained everything to me that I needed to know, and also what happens for the future service appointments. I am so impressed with the service provided by Socorro Romero. Her professional service along with her confidant friendly manner have helped me through a difficult period. I am a knitter beset by MOTHs, augh.......! Socorro came in and did a thorough search for the cause of the problem, then set up a remedy plan. I called Pinnacle a few months ago to help us with our rat problem. The rats had eaten into our new duct work and were coming in our home via the air vents. Pinnacle came out, set up rat traps outside along our fence and a few regular traps inside our home. They also closed up any areas outside where they felt that the rats might be using, to get underneath our home. We have been rat free for a few months thanks to Pinnacle!!! We have had the pleasure of having Lance as our Tech. He is very polite and professional. He always checks everything to make sure all is good in our home and yard. Two years ago I'd have given them 4 Stars. Today, 1 Stars. Two years ago after having the scheduled visit fall through once and calling them the second time when they weren't there, the owner showed up, Mr. Lopez. He did a good report and quoted a fair price for repairs. Now I'm ready to paint the house and I put off the repairs (wasn't required for purchasing the home) and so I got a second quote for repairs. Some dryrot increased, so fine, you'd expect an increase in price. However the Section 2 items didn't change and went from $98 to $250!!! Needless to say the overall price almost doubled. Now after discussing the discrepancies and getting a new number, his math was 'wrong' and he really meant $200 more, "do I still want to go ahead?" Not a happy camper :( read more

Moving into a house that's been vacant for 6 months poses a few problems. We had a mouse die in the wall and tons of spiders--including 2 big black widows in the kitchen. I left messages with several pest control companies and got only few calls back. Those that did call were so pricey it put me off the whole process. A few days later, though, I ran into a HUGE spider that just wouldn't die. I called Pinnacle Pest and Jason and Jeremy came the next day to inspect and give me a price. They were friendly and knowledgeable and went the extra mile to take care of all spider issues. In the past, we have had lots of spider problems and most recently ants have been invading our home, probably due to the drought. Pinnacle's pricing seemed good and I liked that they were a local company. Lance came out last week and we did a walk around. He was good about telling me what the spraying process would be. I set up a time for him to come out today and spray inside and out. He was prompt and explained everything that he would be doing today. Lance is very professional and seems to care about his job and his customers. He told me to leave for a couple of hours since he sprayed inside. When I returned, the smell had dissipated. I can't say enough good things about Pinnacle Pest Control! From the moment I contacted them, their team was professional, courteous, and incredibly knowledgeable. Scheduling an appointment was a breeze, and they arrived right on time, ready to tackle our issue with rats! The technician took the time to explain the process, answered all my questions, and made me feel confident that what we were requesting would be done right. I have been using Pinnacle Pest Control for the last 13 years and have been very happy with their service. My service technician, John Dsupin has excellent customer service. He always calls the evening before to let me know that he will be out the next day. He is very careful & considerate when spraying outdoors to move cat food and water away from his spraying area. He has a very pleasant demeanor. I recently requested indoor spraying and they were able to quickly get me an appointment with a reasonable window at a time that worked best for me. I highly recommend this company due to their excellent customer service and of course, the fact that I rarely see those creepy crawly creatures. read more

We would highly recommend Pinnacle Pest Control. We had a bad and chronic rodent problem in our attic. Technician,Mario, did thorough inspecting our property to determine the extent of the problem. The price was the best of the bids we requested from other major pest control companies. The work was scheduled and done in a timely basis even in the rain. The job required an additional day because the job was more extensive. We were not charge for the additional time involved. We are also impressed that Pinnacle uses the latest in rodent and pest retardant material in the insulation. I've dealt with pest control companies in the past, and I can honestly say I've never been happier with this company. Starting with the office staff, they graciously answered my questions and explained to me the process of getting an inspection and the costs associated with it. The inspector was prompt and very detailed oriented. He was very professional and even took the time to interact with my children(they helped him look for the "bad bugs") After the inspection he went over what he found and let me know what could be done. However, the dilemma with Barrier Pest Solutions is their claim that a sufficient service would be performed and billed roughly $120 per every three months. In actuality, this has, consistently, proved to be an insufficient service. Indeed, it was necessary to re-treat my residence prior to the next service date. In fact, the chemicals used were hardly ever effective for a term of three full months. CONSUMER WARNING: Barrier offers a "free return-service" if needed. At face-value this appears reasonable. Although not initially disclosed, there exists an inconvenient 'fine print' permitting Barrier to charge the account if the request for return-service fails to meet specific terms and conditions. As a result, I terminated service with Barrier. Within a short window of time, having second thoughts concerning the termination of a family-owned business, I respectfully requested services to be reinstated. Several repeated inquiries went unanswered. With a little persistence, a response to the inquiry was ultimately received: Short answer -- Yes, of course, you may be reinstated, but NOT at the rate which was billed previously. The new rate: $120 for services performed and invoiced every TWO months, a drastic one-third increase billed to the consumer. Conclusively, Barrier grew weary of honoring their return-service policy. Therefore the previous agreement was withdrawn. From my perspective, it was an error in judgement that Barrier denied the request for reinstatement under the terms of our previous agreement while replying with a counter-offer at a steep 33% rate increase. In retrospect, considering Barriers brazen counter-proposal, I am satisfied of the decision to terminate service. Although, I would make the argument, that Barrier essentially terminated the agreement by means of failure to adhere to its own terms and conditions as presented to the consumer.
