Updated by Richard K good paint job but still road noise from door never mounted as good as factory. These guys need to stick to painting cars because my car will never ride as quiet as it did before they worked on it. The real disappointment was when the owner said should I open up the insides of the other factory door and compare it to see the difference. The door was probably not hung properly. I told him not to touch the good door. So My issue was never resolved. Satisfaction guaranteed as long as you do not disagree. read more

I am fairly new to Denver, so I was looking for a auto body shop that is good and affordable. I took a chance on Accurate Auto Body since there is no reviews on Yelp. I am very happy I took a shot, and came away very impressed with their customer service, as well as the overall job. I only needed a very small repair at first (driver side mirror replacement. The estimate given was about $130 for paint and installation, since I already had the part.....very reasonable $$$$ However, I purchased the wrong part, and they already painted it and tried to install. They could have easily charge me for the job done to that point, but they were nice enough to help me find the right part with the dealer, and try to find the best solution. I was so impressed with their service, that I decided to replace 2 roof moldings, and 4 side door moldings. The final tab was $1,100. I did my research and the parts itself $800. I have a Nissan Maxima, that requires a specific driver side mirror that folds by power and not manually....very difficult to find. Labor cost was about $300, and usually this is the part were most body shops or mechanics try to rip you off Would I recommend Accurate Auto Body? Hell yeah!!!!!! Accurate was recommended when searching for a place on the Acura site cause who doesn't want their Jetta fixed by an Acura certified body shop? Apparently, I need to re-learn how to drive in snow. That sucks cause I grew up driving in it. Anyway, these are some of the nicest cats I've come across when it comes to auto repairs and the repairs appear and feel to have been top notch using dealership materials wherever possible. They worked with my rental car, insurance, etc. and got the alignment done through a partner as well. Plus, they give you chocolate chip cookies when you pick up your car! (think you have to pay first though) My only gripe, and I'm partly to blame for this, is they didn't ever give me estimates for paying with and without insurance. In their defense, it was way over what I would have envisioned enduring for the sake of keeping my insurance rate as low as possible. After a wreck in April 2018 my 2009 Red RAV needed some serious body work. The folks who own and work in the body shop are 1st class. Concerned about me personally and did a wonderful job on my car. First negative review ever if that says any thing! The initially phone call on Wednesday afternoon was great, the young Lady over the phone was polite and very accommodating and we agreed on a drop off date of Monday but I asked if I could drop off the vehicle on Friday because I was leaving on Sunday for work and would not return for several weeks, but I could get some one to pick up the vehicle when it was ready, call me and ill arrange a pick up time. Sounded great.....Thanked the lady and hung up the phone! On Thursday late afternoon at get a call from Jim (I think the owner not sure doesn't matter) asking me about my drop off date and digging a bit more on the damages on the vehicle and my car rental dates. And this conversation with Jim was very sketchy and strange in terms of I felt like he just didn't want to even bother with my vehicle for some reason. Jim just kept telling me it wasn't going to work with the car rental dates again and agin that state farm has special rules and kept saying that it was going to sit for several days anyway before they could even start on it I then said "I have to come back to Denver on the 25th which was a week later if that would help" and that still didn't seem to work with the car rental dates.... during this conversation Jim mentioned to me that I should try to call some other collision shop that was provided by my insurance (State Farm) and see if I could get it worked on sooner. I let Jim know that its already late on Thursday after 3:00pm and I leave town on Sunday morning, now I have to try to find another spot for a next day drop off, provide all my info again, that puts me in a very awkward position, not to mention I had to drop everything I was working on at that moment and start calling other spots which I did. I couldn't find a shop that could accommodate a next day drop off, I then called Jim back and reiterated don't worry about the car rental I just need to get the damages corrected if the 25th doesn't work lets start with what dates that will work, Jim said ok I guess that would be a good place to start, let me call you back. Jim called me back within the hour and said ok just bring the car in Friday ok all said and done.... I arrive at Accurate Auto Body @9:00Am Friday as I said I would over the phone. I walk in to the office a young lady and a gentleman were posted at the counter 20 feet behind the two was Jim (didn't know that was Jim at the time) young lady says how can I help you, since I had the most conversation with Jim I asked "is Jim around" the young lady said I'm Not Sure ill check sat in her chair and paused 5/10 seconds the young lady asked me my name and what this is in reference to I said my name and the make and model of my vehicle , young lady said "ohh ok here you are" pulling file out... The sketchy part- Jim was the person sitting behind the young lady , for the record Jim herd me say "is Jim around", never said a word.(makes me believe other people have come in and ask for Jim before) The young lady went and stood off to the side of Jim partially in and out of my view as I waled back and forth in the small office and started talking lightly to the gentleman posted 20 feet behind her I didn't think anything of it because she had mentioned she wasn't sure if Jim was in so I assumed that wasn't Jim. I just stood around as the young lady asked me a few more questions and got me to sign a few more papers as the gentleman that was posted 20 feet behind the young lady (Jim) walks right by me, with out saying a word no hello how are you Im Jim NOTHING.... Jim heads out to my vehicle and starts looking at the damages, I noticed and walked outside and said what do you think? (Still didn't know who he was)"Minor very minor damage" I held the door as he walked back in to the office, I stated to the young lady and the mystery man that "I was coming back in town on the 25th if that would help out at all on dates"? The car rental came up and again I said "ill take care of the rental that he should not worry about that end....at that point I said "are you Jim"? Jim replays "Yep" I then asked just let me know what dates work the best, Jim again states that it all depends on if or if not you get a rental. I said "let me go out to my truck and call my claims adjuster Ill be right back" after a long conversation with the state farm adjuster about what just happened he just said the car rental should not be a factor in the dropping off and picking up of your vehicle if you don't feel comfortable don't go there! I took that advice of the State Farm adjuster and walked back in and said lets just forget the whole thing that I didn't feel comfortable after this whole interaction some thing is not, and with a smil Jim says call me back if you change your mind. So after saying all that there is something really wrong with my experience and the costumer service something was clearly going on.....I had to go with my gut and walk away!!!!! read more

I've used Accurate Auto Body twice in the past and they did really great work. But, something has changed in recent years, and there service is not like it used to be. I've submitted two claims in the last year and went in for an estimate. They ordered my parts to do the work. But, every time I called to make an appointment to bring my vehicle back the woman working told me that she would call me back and she never did. Brought my car in here based on a recommendation from Stevenson Toyota.. They had it for over ten days for some minor body damage. The body work they did was good work but the finishing touches we're absolutely terrible. It looks like they buffed my car with a belt sander which I didn't notice until I washed it thoroughly. I called them and told them and they said to bring it back in. I don't have time to not have a car for four days because they did a horrible job. I have to get a ride to drop my car off, a ride to pick it up, take off work and not have a car while they have it. My paint looks like a hologram. Worst swirls I've ever seen. The clear bra on my driver side mirror looked like it was cut freehand with a razor blade. They couldn't take the time to line it up? Ive installed clear bras and i know the process and this was the most half assed job ive ever seen. It has bubbled and peeled since. They charged me for things they didnt do. They charged me for painting and that was definitely not done. The guy managing my repairs was very rude when I brought up the problems. I couldn't believe it. Like I was putting him out for writing him a big check for doing a garbage job. read more

As a repeat customer I honestly say I wouldn't want to take my vehicles anywhere else. They are Toyota certified so that is a huge plus. In comparison with other auto body shops they only schedule when they can work on your vehicle meaning less repair wait time as a customer. This may mean a longer wait before it gets turned into the shop however I prefer that over waiting 3-4 weeks without my vehicle. They are friendly, do a great job of giving you status updates, and are very professional. I hope to not to require body work again in the near future but if I do, without hesitation I would go with Accurate AutoBody. read more

So I have known Jim the owner since 1996 and I have referred over 100 people to this place because to be 100% honest their bodywork is excellent. Today however the customer service was not so amazing. I made an appointment to have an estimate done on my father in-laws pickup and told them what type of pickup I was bringing in beforehand and when I showed up Jim flat told me that the truck wouldn't fit in their paintbooth and therefore they couldn't work on it. I explained to Jim that I just drove in the snow all the way from Greeley for this estimate and he apologized and wished me a Happy New Year... Jim, the LEAST you could have done is the estimate. I needed it done for insurance purposes and I drove 1.25 hours in the snow to have it done... I know you no longer need my referral business as you are so busy that you cant think straight but perhaps you forgot about how important word of mouth is... read more

I normally don't like writing negative reviews but I really feel like I experienced an injustice and wanted to share this so that hopefully people will not encounter a similar thing in the future. The staff was extremely friendly, they did a great job repairing my car but when I picked it up it had a big crack in the windshield that was not there when I brought it in. I asked if there was anything that they could do about this since it wasn't there when I brought it in and the man working said that he would call me the next day to let me know what the manager said. No call the next day (this is an example of the lack of communication during my experience with Accurate Auto Body), I called them by the end of the day and he said that on the vehicle pre-inspection sheet I signed off on the fact that there was a chip in the windshield. This is simply not true, I just got a new windshield a few months ago. I have a good memory and I remember signing off on the dings but not about a chip in the windshield. Then when I asked to talk to a manager, she said that on the vehicle pre-inspection sheet I signed off on the fact that the windshield was cracked. If they are going to say things that are not true about the status of your vehicle when you bring it in, they may as well get their stories straight. If you bring your car to Accurate Auto Body your car might not be done when they say it will be (They told me that it would take 5 business days for my car and it ended up taking 10 days. 8 business days but still 10 days is a long time to go without a car when it's your only source of transportation and you work on the other side of town) and the staff may not call you when they say they will because they did not in my experience. Also, this may be a rare situation so hopefully it wouldn't happen to anyone else but it happened to me so it could happen to you too, it turns out that before I bought my car it was in an accident and whoever repaired it did a terrible job. I brought my car in after I had a minor collision and once Accurate took it apart they recommended $2,000 more work than their estimate to have my car fixed properly. One technician said that even if I don't have the extra $2,000 work done and just go with what they quoted me in the estimate that my car would still be safe. Then a few days later another technician called me and said that if I don't have the extra $2,000 work done that my car would not be safe to drive. Safety is the most important thing so it's frustrating to have one person saying it's safe and one saying it's not within the same auto body shop!! If you bring your car here I hope the staff does a better job of communicating with you and take a picture of your car the day you bring it in. And it is probably a good idea to ask for a copy of the pre-existing damages inspection sheet. You shouldn't have to worry about things like this and it's sad that you do. read more

Professional, clean and fair. Was promised an email estimate within 24 hours and received it! Got an appointment for the repair and was told exactly how long it would take. Received a call two hours before car was done. Amount charged was exactly what was estimated. Yes, you do have to make an appointment to get an estimate, but that was okay with me; two men inspected my car and told me what needed to happen. Then my insurance directed me to another place for a later small issue and I wasn't happy so I came back to Accurate . Made appointments for both my estimate and repair, which was about one month apart. Given the winter season, I figured the wait would be longer than normal. My appointments went smoothly and they had Hertz come pick me up from the shop on Dec. 22. They kept me thoroughly updated on the progress of my repairs along the way and quoted me for January 4, 2016 completion date. I received a call December 29 letting me know they were well ahead of schedule. I picked her up today, and let me say she hasn't been that red in a long while. Even though the bumper and left fender received new parts/ paint, you couldn't even tell. The chrome was shining and beautiful, they even vacuumed the interior. They went through the repairs with me and even said I could leave the Hertz rental there and they would call to have it picked up! One less hassle for me. I was defiantly pleased with the time frame and detailed work, I will be back. read more
