I first heard of this company as a recommendation from multiple neighbors and was quite pleased with the results. The technician showed up within the window provided, had all the parts required, and completed the job quickly and professionally. I did not comparison shop or get any other quotes, which is my only regret. We were charged $385 for the spring replacement of our double garage door. The new spring came with a 3yr warranty. Garage door wouldn't close so had to put it in manual mode. Called Access but couldn't get in contact with them during the snow storm of Jan 2016. When I finally got someone to respond, they apologized profusely and informed me of the earliest date that someone could come out to diagnose the problem. They quoted me $85 and a time between 12-3pm. At 11:45am, Greg the technician, called and gave me a heads up of 20 minute arrival time. Greg arrived promptly and figured out the problem which was relatively easy and let me know how to troubleshoot for future reference. He also tightened up screws, fixed the lightbulb and sensor. He only charged me the service call. I almost called another company to come out and fix the problem while I left my car out in the driveway for a week but so glad I waited. read more

I highly recommend this company. I needed a garage door opener installed and called around for quotes. Access was at least $125 less than every other quote I got. I set up an appointment for installation and Greg showed up on time and called ahead to let me know he was on his way. He installed the opener in about an hour, walked me through how to troubleshoot issues and even programmed the built-in opener in my car to the opener. I called the company describe what was wrong with my garage door 16 foot garage door 7 foot tall two springs one of the springs was broken I was give me a price quote of $185. I was given a timeframe of between 10 and 1 o'clock for the technician to arrive 1 o'clock came no technician so I called the shop and then they gave me another time frame for the technician to show up which is like an hour so later. When the technician arrived he looked at the garage door and I was given a price of $350 . This was double the price of what I was initially quoted as 185 for everything so I let the individual install . The breakdown of the bill was $125 each each spring total of two springs 250 for the springs $100 for labor . My suggestion is do it yourself go on YouTube if you can change a tire you can do this yourself I have a three-year warranty on this and if it breaks within that time. I'll let them replace it after that the springs break again I will be replacing it myself. The technicians reason for the double prices because he claimed it was a different type of spring which is a bunch of bullshit all the springs are all pretty much the same there a different grades of springs but it did not warrant doubling the price.I simply think this is a case of nice neighborhood nice house . let's double the price he can afford it. Let me make this perfectly clear I describe my door .I described that I wanted both springs replaced . This is the norm for when replacing springs. My garage door spring snapped, needed an overall lube job on the hardware, and needed the push button opener that's hard-wired in my garage repaired or replaced. Greg (I believe) fixed everything quickly and professionally. This is what this company does so he had all the parts in his truck to include a replacement push button switch (actually had two to choose from). I thought the price was okay but was wondering if driving up to my home in an Infiniti and wearing a suit pushed the price up (didn't discuss total cost before). A pair of springs costs about $50.00. With the switch, my total was $350.00. So, an estimated $75.00 for parts and $275.00 for less than an hour labor...seemed a bit steep. And that was after getting a $25.00 discount because he didn't show for an appointment the day before (or call to let me know he wasn't coming!). He did call in the morning to apologize for missing the appointment. I gave him a second chance because I read good reviews of the service and wanted the job done right. So, I give the work five stars but an overall rating of four stars due to the missed appointment and the price. Overall, I recommend this company...I'm satisfied with the repair and was happy that he was able to get the job done quickly and had all the parts he needed with him.
