I felt my concerns were heard and responded to respectfully, especially by the owner Brian. The crew that did the removal and installation were also punctual, friendly and took good care of my property. Despite working long hours in 100 plus degree conditions. The only reason I dropped a star was because after the dust settled and we were able to access the attic we noted a few things that bothered us. Most of these issues could have been easily addressed if the installation crew had been more communicative with us throughout the process. Instead we had to deal with these issues afterwards which was rather frustrating and took several weeks to resolve and required us to call in other contractors. I would still recommend this company for all the things that they did well. But more and better communication from the work crew would have made this an overall five star experience.

I had my attic insulation redone. I had 4 different companies come by to give me quotes and give me…read moretheir recommendation. I also did a lot of my own research. I decided I really wanted to free up my attic floor space and make use of it. So I decided to go with Open Cell Spray Foam with Potomac Insulation and Dry Wall. Some companies might try to sell you 8 to 12 inches of foam. Of course it all cost more as well. But after 6 inches it does not really make that much more of a difference. We are in zone 4 and are winters do seem to be getting milder and instead of trying to get me to have more insulation sprayed in at a higher cost they were honest and told me 5 inches would be plenty. It will give me the R-Value I need, and the seal and barrier I desire. And best of all they beat everyone's price. They were even cheaper then having blown in insulation. They did an amazing job taking all my old insulation out and spraying in the new insulation evenly and throughout my attic space. I do not think you will find a better deal than Potomac Insulation & Drywall.
