My…read moreson receives both OT and speech therapy here, and it's been amazing to see how much he's grown since starting. We've had the opportunity to work with several wonderful therapists, and we're grateful for all of them. I'd also like to mention his speech therapists, Ms. Dana and Ms. Jena, and Mr. Joseph (OT therapist) to who have been such an important part of his progress. They've taken the time to get to know my son, incorporate his interests into each session, and keep him engaged and motivated to learn. They also do a great job keeping us involved by sharing his progress after each session and giving us ideas for what we can continue working on at home. Watching my son grow in his communication skills has been incredibly rewarding. We know that progress didn't happen overnight, and we're so grateful for the patience, encouragement, and dedication his therapists have shown him. We're so thankful we found OC Speech Services and couldn't ask for a better team to be part of my son's journey.

Over the past two years,…read moreLucille has gone from using very few understandable words and struggling to produce many speech sounds correctly to speaking in full sentences, asking and answering questions, following conversations, and expressing her needs much more clearly. Her speech intelligibility has improved tremendously, and her confidence has grown along with it. Her dedication and genuine care played a huge role in Lucille's progress. We are incredibly grateful for everything she has done and highly recommend her.

We came to Branching Tree Speech Therapy specifically because we were looking for a practice that…read moretruly understands Gestalt Language Processing and they have exceeded every expectation. From the very first contact, Ms. Yazmin made the intake, insurance eligibility, and scheduling process smooth and stress-free. For a family navigating a new autism diagnosis with multiple therapies and providers, having someone handle that process with such care and efficiency meant everything. Ms. Jacqueline conducted a thorough and thoughtful evaluation that accurately captured our son's GLP profile and communication needs. Her report was detailed, clinically strong, and has been an invaluable document across all of Dylan's providers and evaluations. Ms. Verenice has been incredible in our twice-weekly sessions. Our son is speaking more and more and we genuinely believe it is because of the NLA-informed, neuroaffirming approach she brings to every session.

I was referred to Branching Tree Speech Therapy by the regional center in Pomona. I did not have a…read moregood experience with the speech therapist who was assigned to treat my daughter for the following reasons: 1. The speech therapist was constantly late to my daughter's appointments, but always left right on time. I got so tired of this that I reached out to our care coordinator at the regional center. Only then did she start showing up on time. 2. The therapy is play based, but it seemed like the speech therapist always showed up with the same toys. If you're using the toys to introduce new words then shouldn't you switch it up a little bit? Wouldn't that help my daughter's vocabulary grow? I again had to contact our care coordinator for assistance. 3. It was raining one day and I got a text from the speech therapist saying that she didn't want her toys to get wet, so they would just use my daughter's toys. This honestly made me laugh because she used a suitcase that zipped all the way around to transport her toys. 4. The speech therapist, a single woman with no children in her early twenties, would often try to give me parenting advice. It was always unsolicited. I certainly wouldn't go to someone like her for advice on how to raise my child. 5. The speech therapist would often refer to my daughter as "Bud"...I am actually still trying to figure this one out. It made absolutely no sense. Who still uses that word and don't you know her real name? I finally asked for a different provider and my daughter was cleared shortly thereafter. The only advice that I have for other mothers is to listen to your intuition. If it feels like someone assigned to treat your child just isn't the right fit then don't wait as long as I did.

His therapist Darlene helped him grow amazingly and we are beyond thrilled with her commitment and dedication. When we had issues with our finances, Karen worked with us to ensure we can continue receiving care for our child. Thank you Darlene and Karen for your love and care! The only negative thing is hearing our son tell us how much he misses Darlene after he has now finished.

My 8 year old daughter was being teased about not being able to say her R's. Adults and children…read morealike would mimic her speech and a rude child on the soccer field pointed out the irony that her name had R's in it but she couldn't say them. Her name begins and ends with R, and she began to avoid saying her name when introducing herself or when people would ask her name. This broke my heart and solidified the need to seek speech therapy. She began therapy in February 2024 with Mikayla, and by October/November she had made drastic improvements in the ability to say R's but the habit of saying R sounds the old way was hard to break. It is now January 2025 and our insurance has changed so she is no longer able to attend therapy, but I am so happy to report that she has now mostly broken the habit of saying R's the old way all on her own without reminders, and most importantly can confidently say her own name. I also want to thank Karen for her diligence in working with my insurance company getting the claims paid. Without her extra work getting sessions covered we would not have been able to afford services. I am so grateful to Let's Talk Speech & Language Therapy for helping my daughter.

Kym demonstrates invaluable amount of effort and true kindness along with patience, when working with all the other kids, including mine. There was not one day, nor one minute where she took any shortcuts just to get these classes done, she truly cares, no doubt. My wife and I, as parents, appreciate this Help and everyone in my family notices my daughter speaking a lot more clearly and detailed. The staff was always kind and always gave me direction. Thank you very much for helping my daughter with her speech ! Highly recommend!

We had a decent experience at Providence Speech overall. Nicole was the best therapist we have had,…read moreacross any field. My Granddaughter used to take classes with her. She remembers her lessons and I now have the tools I need to make speech therapy fun. My Granddaughter has a rare genetic condition that comes with many challenges so every milestone is a blessing. Nicole taught me to use toys to keep her engaged. We got a similar toys to Nicole like ball popper and farm animal set to simulate the environment. We had Kim for a while first but she was not as patient as Nicole and would expect my Granddaughter to repeat a word correctly 10 times in a row which was just unrealistic and would berate her and get her upset. She would do well to say it one time correctly and deserved praise for just that. Luckily Kim got reassigned because there was a new patient and Kim was the only one with special certification to treat them, I think they said the patient had Down Syndrome. So we got switched to Nicole which is the best thing that could've happened.

South Coast Therapy is amazing. Prior to South Coast Therapy, we really struggled finding a…read moretherapist that understood how to work with my son due to his escape behaviors (eloping) and sensory challenges. We tried several places and were getting nowhere with his therapy. He was even "let go" from a few places because they couldn't figure out how to get him to cooperate! It was unbelievable and I was so discouraged. Finally, we discovered South Coast Therapy. What a difference! There was no threat of "letting him go" due to non-compliance in any of their paperwork or sign up protocol and they were extremely supportive of his needs! After meeting Grace for OT the first time, I knew that she not only cared about what she was doing and about him, but she had the correct tools and techniques to help regulate him and motivate him to work/play! At this center, you get a scheduled time and get to see the same therapist (I know some places, don't provide a slot and you have to keep calling or you get different therapists or assistants to the therapist) at each appointment. This is HUGE for kids like my son who need routine and relationship to move forward. The less change the better when it comes to his therapy! However, if you have to reschedule or if they don't have a standing appt. at start up, they are great at helping you find a day and time that will work and ALL of their therapists are just as well trained and efficient in getting through the behaviors. We have been there for 5 years now and my son is thriving! He is learning life skills such as how to brush and floss his teeth, put on his shoes, bathe, zip up a zipper, close and open a button and so much more. The best part is...he LOVES going and he loves Ms. Grace! If you have a child that has been getting nowhere in their therapy or is being "tolerated" rather than loved, seen, and cared for... you have found your new therapy center! Your child will learn to do things here and get past the difficult times! You will not be disappointed!
