Due to 2 Hernias with 1 of them with the intestines protruding landing me in the hospital in April 2022, almost in emergency surgery. I started my new process with Insurance approval through Dr. Mir B. Ali w/Smart Dimensions out of Fountian Valley, CA in May 2022 of having to remove the lapband and fix both an incisional hernia, a hiatal hernia embedded in the lapband that was bleeding giving me acid reflux. Never in my life would I expect to remove the band and consider gastric sleeve cutting 80% of my stomach out, but I did it. Since surgery 8/9/2022 and 4 sugeries at 1 time, I have lost 28lbs in 8 weeks, with 32 to go to get to 125. I highly recommend Dr. Madrigal for your psychological evaluation. She charges $150 and will take whatever time you need to discuss what your going through or will go through. If you need her afterwards for guidance, she is there for you.
