It seemed like they cleaned the vents and did a decent enough job. I showed up about halfway through and when I got there he seemed to be in better spirits and friendlier. I asked some questions about concerns we had and maintenance and the man obliged in answering but was dismissive about it. The cleaning was fairly priced so I would recommend for regular maintenance but if you're wanting good attention to detail for something that's been left for a while you might want to shop around

He then got on the roof and removed the vent grate the roofers left on, and came inside and blew out the lint obstructions to clear the vent all the way out of the roof. Eran was professional, knowledgeable and pleasant to speak with; he knows a good bit about dryers too! The team was incredibly professional punctual and highly skilled. You can see from the before and after pictures of my firebox how much work they put in. The initial pictures (the completely black, sooty one and the one with the old, rusted grate) show how overdue it was for a proper cleaning. The after pictures (the one with the freshly cleaned white/tan brick new-looking mortar and the one with the cleaner grate) are a night and day difference it looks brand new! I was worried about the old cracking mortar/caulk and they handled the repair work with precision as you can see from the fresh neat-looking sealant they applied (the picture with the gray mortar/sealant). They also took care of the exterior chimney on the roof. The cap and the top of the chimney (shown in the pictures with the orange stucco and the gray textured top) were showing signs of wear and tear but they made sure everything was secure and looking great.
