The WM team came as scheduled, identified, and corrected our AC problem. They also checked our coil which another company had told us needed cleaning and explained with pictures that what the previous company had identified as "bacteria" was actually normal aging and that our coil was in perfect condition. They also corrected some air that had been leaking from a previous poor tape/seal job. The previous company said they would charge us just under $200 to do this, and WM charged $40. During the winter storm, the furnace stopped working out of the blue. The WM heating and cooling responded quickly and identified the problem to be the blower motor. It requires the replacement. However, the stores do not have the part, so they need to order it. We already experienced a cold night without the heater, and the weather forecast indicated the extremely low temperature next few days. We did not want to go through another night without warm air in the house. The WM team was able to ask around to get the right blower motor for our furnace on the same day. My home warranty deemed my outside compressor dead. Finally. It was a 26 year old rust bucket. Bad news it was mid July in this heatwave. I made a bid request on yelp and a few companies responded with WM being one of the first to respond. Wilmer from WM came out fairly quickly and I had an estimate by evening. I decided on him and very glad I did so. First, he's very responsive. Second, he always showed up exactly when he said he would; third, his quote was one of the most reasonable with high quality American Standard equipment; never oversold me or tried to; and went above and beyond. The work he did is clean. He did some additional duct work that solved a problem I had with restricted airflow in a couple of bedrooms (that's all solved). He cleaned up after himself which is expected but doesn't always happen. Overall, not only would I recommend him for a friend, I'd recommend him to my mom. My house is cooler and is more efficient. I contacted several companies from Yelp about and AC issue and WM was one of four to respond the same day I asked and they gave me several options on what the fix could be. They were the first to send me a quote of costs and it was a better deal than another company. They showed up on time and were very clear about what would be done. They were able to get most of the repairs done in day one as planned replacing my AC plenum and 12 new duct lines. He even explained that he used a smaller size tube to help get more cooler air to the further rooms. Day 2 they installed a min-split AC and finished the duct work. They were very neat, cleared up everything before they left and did not find any additional issues. I have a would recommend them. read more
