I have to share my recent five star experience at Siggia. (And shame on all you one star raters who…read morebelieve that you will actually receive better service at one of the big box stores. We all know that's simply not the case.) After making MULTIPLE trips to Home Depot, Lowes and Ace Hardware to source hinges for kitchen cabinets I was trying to repair, I had almost given up on finding the hardware I needed. At each of the stores, I went in with a sample and, after waiting for long periods of time at to get help, I was told BY THE HARDWARE DEPARTMENT reps "this one will work". Each time I would get home and find it didn't fit or that parts were missing from the package. I went to Siggia and John gave me great service and provided me with hinges that actually fit the cabinet I was repairing. Yes, I had to wait for a bit--but he actually knew what he was doing. And, by the way--yes, I had to buy screws. But it was not a big deal since Siggia was still cheaper for two hinges and a package of screws than it's competition.

Some areas are in desperate need of some organization, old stuff and one off items are sort of just all over the place. They have a lot of stuff crammed in there, so it's "well stocked". A person dedicated to cleaning up the shelves would do this place some real favors. Prices seem about what you'd expect - Not cheap, not expensive. Nice to have this place within striking distance.
