Perfect place to pick up staples like bread and milk - and alcohol if you're not subject to DOT regulations. They were running a rum tasting yesterday that looked quite lovely but we demurred for obvious reasons. One thing about me: Ima stay in compliance. I was blocked in for 20 minutes a few days ago By Truckers that pulled in fueled up then went inside ordered their lunch hung out and chew the fat with the employees that do not care to ask the drivers to please move their vehicles from the pumps so other vehicles can get fuel or be able to leave. And don't dare say anything to them about it because you will get an attitude back and the drivers think because they have to keep a log and are under DOT restrictions that it's okay to act this way. I drive past this station every day and rarely stop because there's no way to get in the parking lot. The food is mediocre you get a better quality of food at 7:11 Going 8 Miles up the road to Taneytown or down to Woodsboro is a better bet then dealing with this station. Afterwards my mother and father had coffees that were on sale 3/$7 and all of them rung up besides one coffee, to which my father advised her hes grabbing another coffee because of the issue, she didnt say anything nor did she offer any help or advise then that they can type in the SKU. I went to speak up and tell my mother and father that they could just scan one of the ones that DID scan a second time, like the worker could've advised, but before I finished my remark she rudely cut me off l, rolled her eyes and said she'd ring the ONE ITEM up, my mother was trying to explain that to the girl at the register that it was a sale and she didnt want to split the transaction to which the girl said "do you want my help or not," and didnt come to void the transaction on the self checkout, and only scanned out the one coffee and when my mother came back with the receipt asking for her money back then because she didnt get the sale all the lady said was "well you only got 3," and offered NO HELP.

NOW TO THE ISSUE - there were two associates stocking the seasonal aisle and they overheard my conversation and loudly started making fun of me and the fact that I said "new last name and old last name". People change their names, it's not a big deal. It was very immature and unprofessional. Making fun of a paying customer is a bad look for the employees and ultimately reflects poorly on the business.
