From the beginning, she felt they were very prejudicial about it, even saying "the insurance needed preauthorization" for a medication she had been taking for over a dozen years. When she called to ask what the issue was, they ran it again and it was just fine. Today, they called to say they couldn't fill the medication because the prescriber wasn't in the immediate area and they could only fill those from the immediate area. Mind you, they've filled it several times but they just "couldn't believe it hadn't been flagged before". It's from less than 3 hours away and insurance is perfectly fine-filled perfectly on time. Then it was a "Good luck finding another pharmacy!" This has been a terrible experience for my wife, who had been so happy to have the ease of a hometown pharmacy. I would suggest you avoid this pharmacy if you aren't a local or have a medication they may not agree with (Even if they don't know why you take it or your health history). It often concerns me that pharmacists have the power to make medical decisions that should be between a patient and their physician. I understand abuse of medications happens, but utilizing common sense happens, as well.

Upon calling back to tell them this and vocalizing my concern, the pharmacist finally apologized for the incorrect directions but didn't offer to fix them . Fortunately, I am a pharmacy technician and caught this mistake, however someone who is not in the pharmacy industry may not have noticed it. We will not be having anything else filled here as safety and obviously integrity are both issues. Beyond that, excuse one or two techs, customer service is terrible. I witnessed this while they were serving others as well as myself. Eye rolling, giggling and lack of assistance are apparent. It's honestly like a pharmaceutical twilight zone.

The second time, I waited around 20 minutes and finally got the product I was waiting for. The third time, I left without my prints. I try to be understanding when there is a problem, however, my visits were weeks apart and still the employees had not accommodated for what is clearly a consistent problem. I would just like to give credit where credit is due: when going in today at 4:45pm to p/u a prescription that was supposed to be ready at 3:00 PM - I was immediately told that the pharmacy was extremely backed up and it wasn't ready. This individual told me they were going to expedite the prescription, and that it should be ready shortly. As there was quite a few number of cars behind me, I decided to simply get back in line, then once I got to the drive-through window again I was told the same thing. Again. So, back in line I go.... however this time when I get to the window.... I see a different employee working the window. Her name was Jordan, she smiled nicely, and said that there was a prescription, but it wasn't ready just yet... But that she could go and count them out real quick and have it ready in no time. Literally 30 seconds later she comes back to the window with the prescription. Jordan - I want you to know that what you did today was noticed, and I hope your colleagues strive to be like you... I only returned because CVS prices for my prescriptions are much less expensive than other pharmacies and they're open 7 days a week. To contact the pharmacy, I had to leave a voicemail, which was concerning. I assumed that the pharmacy must be understaffed and overrun with customers. But I received a call-back promptly, and the staff member was very pleasant and helpful. On occasions when I went inside to pick up my prescriptions, the lines moved quickly. I was really touched by how several pharmacy staff members interacted with patients who clearly had emotional and physical challenges. The staff were incredibly kind, respectful and sincere, going above and beyond to treat each person with respect and dignity. Based on my positive customer experience, I plan to transfer all my prescriptions to this CVS.
