I love this Pharmacy. Always receive calls and/or notifications of medication status. Very rarely do they not have the medicine in stock and if they don't it is normally there the next day. The pharmacist will also contact your doctor to get more refills when your prescription runs out. :) read more

Seem like nice people here but if the pharmacy was any slower they'd all be walking backwards.

Since this pharmacy has changed locations to across the street from the Safeway grocery store, I have been more impressed with the service and selections available. It used to be rather small when it was next to James Gang Pizzeria, but since the move it has doubled in size. I used the pharmacy to fill my prescription and the pharmacologist was incredibly friendly and helpful. They called my doctor to refill my prescription and promptly had it filled within a couple of days. The products of CVS vary; you can get anything from Hallmark cards to cosmetology products. From what I've seen, this location seems to be well stocked at all times. read more

Worst store ever!!! Don't care about customer service. It's all about them and what makes them comfortable. I went to this store for over a year and had to put up with there rude attitudes and poor service but then I went to Boonsboro Pharmacy and I was shocked at how well I was treated. They actually acted as if I mattered,not like they had plenty of costumers and it didn't matter if I was happy or not. You've been warned!! read more

Please stay out of this store! Worst customer service that I've encountered in a long time. The store manager is rude and belligerent and should not have access to customers! She will go out of her way to be nasty and unhelpful. She has a knack for making people feel terrible. It's kind of amazing, really. I have noticed this with other customers as well as myself. This is likely the worst CVS I've ever had to shop in. The pharmacy and the employees in the pharmacy are slow and unsympathetic to the frequent long lines and customer waiting that is a matter of course in this establishment. It is not uncommon for there to be a line of four people and a wait of 30 minutes to pickup a prescription. Apathy is the resounding attitude that appears to be a prerequisite for employment at this CVS. Go to Med One in Middletown--much better customer service and little to no wait. read more

Have seen employees behind pharmacy counter walking around without shoes! I have witnessed employees and the female pharmacist there eating snacks while working. Potato chips, I believe. Worst of all, there is absolutely no respect of privacy at this place. Staff will call you by name (in earshot of a line of customers) and tell or ask about your current or past prescriptions. I recently heard the female pharmacist on the phone very clearly. I heard her state the person's full name and then talk about current prescriptions and past prescriptions by name! I felt bad for the person on the phone who had no idea his/her privacy was being violated. So unprofessional! Staff at the store front, however, is courteous, friendly, and helpful. read more

I would give zero stars if possible. We moved to this town 2.5 weeks ago. Over the last two weeks we have tried unsuccessfully to fill a prescription for Adderall for my ADD, which was written by Johns Hopkins Medical Center. Their answer is that Adderall is a controlled substance, which I already know. The staff is inept, just repeating that it is hard for them to get an allotment of this drug. I said "This is CVS, how can you not obtain Adderall or a generic in over two weeks". The pharmacist's reply is that I should go back to the CVS location with which I used to get my monthly prescription. I told her "that CVS is 50 miles away" and she replied "That's all I can tell you". This is unacceptable, especially from a large chain. I need this medication to function effectively at my high stress, mentally challenging job, where I need 100% attention. The feeling I got from the pharmacist was that they didn't care. My wife agreed that the 5 times or more that she went to get the prescription that the pharmacists had a cavalier attitude about filling this prescription. Ironically, this CVS is due to expand into a larger location across the street. How can you expand when you cannot effectively manage a small store? read more

This store has got to be the worst CVS store I have ever shopped at. The service is lacking. Twice I have had prescriptions sent to their store and they were out of stock. Nobody called to let me know they didn't have the medication. I drive to the pharmacy only to be told it's on back order. I was told it would be in today. Well guess what? It's on back order, they will call me when it comes in. This is medication that CANNOT be skipped for 3 days. When I told them it was unacceptable, they told to try another CVS pharmacy. No help whatsoever, I waited on hold for 25 minutes. If it wasn't for my insurance, I would go somewhere else. Thank God in January our insurance will be contracting another pharmacy. The people behind the pharmacy counter are rude, they do not follow HIPPA guidelines, everyone waiting in line knows your name, date of birth and what prescription you are getting. Unprofessional and rude employees are the name of the game with that pharmacy. read more

I have now tried for two months in a row to get my children standing ADHD medication at this pharmacy. I have, for two months, explained that they are able to get this medication, and that the pharmacist in Walkersville laid out exactly how to do so in my children's profile. I was literally met with shrugging shoulders, and left to drive to a different county to get my children's medication one day before I am about to run out (it's a scheduled drug and so we can only get 30 days at a time and you cannot order much I had of time). The customer service is a biz abysmal, and while the woman I spoke to today was marginally better at her customer service skills, the woman I spoke to last week was just downright dismissive and rude. My next stop is to complain to corporate, and then to contact my insurance company who requires that I go to CVS pharmacies in order to receive prices that are not ridiculous, and complain to them that they are not meeting my children's medical needs. Surprising great customer service, especially for such a large retail chain. The pharmacy staff is usually helpful and all cashiers are cheerful. Best CVS location I've been to in the MD/DC Metro area. read more
