LOL, I'm just kidding, when visiting we have to go to Brunswick or Frederick just to shop because Lovettsville is so behind that there isn't anywhere to shop there. Nothing against Lovettsville, but man, get a Dollar General or something for your residents. Seriously, if you want a Dollar General Store just hit me up, I work at the corporate office and they will put them anywhere you want, it costs next to nothing. It never fails that whenever I travel I get sick, it's either allergies or just my body unable to cope with the air outside of my hole in Nashville. Whatever it is, I always plan to get some meds when traveling. Just so happens I heard of this brand spankin new Walgreens in Brunswick behind the Roy Rogers and always the eager traveler I said "Let's go, I need some meds!" and we went. As with most new stores it was shiny and clean. everything in its place and associates to greet you as you came in. Now in my home area we have Walgreens all over the place, it didn't dawn on me that it's not the same here until much later. There was an associate helping a man sign up for the rewards so he could get the lower price and I just typed my number in, like whoopty doo! Ya'll are gonna love this much better than the Rite-Aid that was here before, trust me. **Side Note, I wish I had visited the new Dollar Tree in the same center, it's another thing that you don't see much of here but all over the place at home. Great store guys. :-)

I needed to get medication for my son -which had to be compounded (instead of pill form - it needed to be in a liquid) and after going around to a number of local pharmacies in the area, CVS, Giant, Safeway even Wegman's no one was able to help. I was told about Whitesells by a friend where I worked with Rebecca and Danielle. These two have been... in a word - Fantastic! Rebecca who does the compounding, is extremely knowledgable about the process, provided me with and excellent education and has been a joy to work with. Danielle is also tremendously nice and helpful which makes the entire experience less stressful. They handle the insurance issues, call you back when they say they are which is important, at least to me. They also have a great medical supply area and just as helpful and professional. Kathy Curran was so thorough helping me navigate through insurance issues and went the extra mile to help. Bottom-Line - I don't even live in the Frederick Area, however, I drive up there in rush-hour 270 traffic to use there services. Could I go somewhere else? Sure, but when you are dealing with prescriptions and medications and other sensitive things, trust and knowledge is important (which they have demonstrated) and at the end of the day just because of something may be more convenient, doesn't make it better.

Very poorly run store. Possible cases: 1) the entire store is affected by untreated depression, 2)…read morethe educational system has failed the employees, or 3) it's a jobs program for those unable to find work elsewhere. It was that bad. To the point I's feel sorry for the employees if they didn't make me run around for 40 minutes trying to find 2 items (honestly). Needed one item. Asked pharmacy. They told me to go to the front. The front sent me to the back. They finally looked and then a second person in the pharmacy at the back directed me correctly. Made purchase and returned to car. Fine. 2 min later realized I needed something else. Went back in the store, checked aisles because honestly I didn't want to interact with these people who clearly hated being there. Couldn't find it, so I asked the front. Same story--kid told me to check the back. At pharmacy in the back, they told me to check with the front because the front stocks the shelves. Are you kidding me??? Why does a business (esp a pharmacy) exist except to provide a service people are willing to pay for? Spare yourself unnecessary idiocy and go somewhere else. Anywhere else.

One was working the window for cars (there was a long line, which is why I went in), one guy was helping a woman who was putting in an order, but the last two were looking for ONE box of medication...in the same place! It takes two of you to do that? The woman wasn't even looking, just offering the man emotional support, I suppose. Meanwhile, I was the only customer waiting in line. I mean, seriously. When a customer comes up, one of you should drop what you're doing and attend to the customer. And the worst part is nobody looks up or tells you they'll be right with you. Instead they act like you're not even there. And this isn't the first time. Pathetic!
