A delightful little restaurant on a side street, with delicious food that is nicely presented, and a friendly and attentive staff. The prices are very reasonable when you put those all together.
We'd arrived at our hotel next door and were tired and hungry, and noticed Abydoise as we walked to the hotel's door. The hotel's desk clerk recommended Abydoise, saying it was her favorite, so we gave it a try. We were lucky to get a table as they were almost completely booked that evening, but were seated immediately.
Our meals were delicious. We started with the seared tuna appetizer, which was four large bites of sushi quality tuna belly wrapped in a very thin layer of puff-pastry, resulting in an light crunch followed by very satisfying piece of tuna. The shrimp in a light curry sauce were done perfectly. I had the fish special, which was a nicely done sea bass, with perfectly seared skin that was light and crunchy.
I say go, it's worth it. We thanked the hotel for recommending it to us and will definitely recommend it to others. And, the best thing I can say is we would return. read more
