Great yoga studio. A plethora of classes and there's always promotions . I love this studio.

I've taken a bunch of different classes/instructors here from vinyasa flow to restorative to ashtanga and happy with the class variety, instructor's knowledge and studio. It's obvious there is thoughtfulness and care put into making this a peaceful, educational space, catered to all levels and needs. Variety of class times from 8am to 7:30pm, so it's easy to find a class that fits into my schedule, even before/after work. Check out the schedule on their website--there's truly something for everyone! Beginners, all levels, level 2/3 classes, prenatal, yoga for children, chair yoga, restorative, anusara, ashtanga (so hard! but what a great mind/body workout), candlelight yoga. There's a full bulletin board of special events/classes posted--always lots of cool stuff going on--teacher trainings, yoga book club, weekend yoga trips. It has a great community feel. Sign-in sheet at the front desk when entering the studio. Different class pack options or monthly/yearly membership. There's two studios (Moon and Sun), that are stocked with mats, blocks, blankets, straps. Wish they had small hand towels. Two bathrooms available and cubbies for shoes outside the studios. The floor could use a regular sweep, imagine it's tough to keep after that with the constant foot traffic and they do keep the studio neat and tidy. Clothing, mats, mat bags, yoga mat spray/wipes, essential oils, jewelry for sale. Nice seating area/couch/chairs near the front desk to relax before heading into the studio. Staff/instructors are all warm and welcoming. All-around great experience to yoga here! read more

I've tried a number of yoga studios throughout the island and could never get my practice to stick. I now attend Absolute religiously each week. Their instructors are kind, welcoming at whatever level you are at. I've only attended Vinyasa All levels and enjoy a different experience each time. read more

I decided to buy a group on for myself, my boyfriend, and my sister. We are all very into fitness but i personally have never done yoga. I signed up up for the free first week before even redeeming my group on (which was great because now i have 12 classes not 10). The place is wonderful, I have so far tried two different classes with two different instructors. Both were SUPER helpful since were new, and very nice. Even the other people in the classes are nice which admittedly does make an impact. I cannot wait to continue going, i am in school for mental health and this is the definition of self care! I highly recommend Absolute Yoga Studio. I began my yoga practice a few years ago with a Beginner Series of classes which was taught by Leslie, the owner. SInce then, I have taken a variety of classes with different instructors and they have all been very experienced, compassionate and encouraging. I purchased a 10 class groupon deal then found out that two people I know have gone here and they loved it. I started the beginner series today which explains yoga and starts off wit basic breathing, relaxation and warm up techniques. It was really relaxing and felt good. I'm looking forward to going back and highly recommend it read more

I highly recommend this studio for the Anusara yoga classes. I haven't taken any of the vinyasa classes so I can't comment,, although I've only heard good things. The Anusara teachers are welcoming, warm, and kind, while also thorough, knowledgeable, and challenging. Classes are offered at all levels, from beginner to experienced, and the all-level classes always include modifications for students newer to the practice or with issues/injuries. This studio also has high quality yoga clothing, mats, mat bags, and various CDs/DVDs and books for sale at fairly reasonable prices. It is clean, has two spacious classrooms, and has a comfortable entrance space with plenty of room for all your things. read more

I started going to this place because of the Groupon. The instructors are all friendly and welcoming. The place has 2 small rooms but the classes I attend are never overcrowded. The classes are intimate enough for the instructors to keep an eye on your form. They provide mats, blankets, and blocks for free. They have very convenient class times. I went for their free week - every day I tried a different class with a different instructor - I enjoyed every class. Then I bought the groupon - and I am hooked. They have a great selection of classes and different skill levels. Yoga is the one activity where its participants are truly in it for themselves, there's no judgement, In no way have I felt uncomfortable or incompetent. There are smiles on everyones faces and they are normal people - like me. I have settled in to going 2 or 3 classes a week - and a meditation/restorative class - ooohh myyy, there is nothing in the world more relaxing. I'm hooked. There are two rooms to practice, and so far it has not been to crowded to join a class. Parking is plentiful. Go for it !! read more

Love this place! The owner is so nice. I had bought a package and then got into a car accident. I did not return for almost 1 year. I did not expect her to give me the full package back but I figured I'd ask to see if anything could be done. So I asked and she gave me back the 3 months. I was so grateful. I love the restorative class with Dawn it is my favorite. I am looking forward to trying more classes. read more

What a nice cozy yoga studio. The staff are friendly the place appears clean. I didn't match well with the clientele although I was new and trying it. They have all sorts of classes to try for all levels and types of bodies. I was not the most flexible individual participating and felt like i should do it more. It is not What I do agree with is their motto.. it is a method of self discovery, I felt good afterwards without my cell, pc or anyone interrupting me, . There is a shoppe on site they sell items like mats for practice, a carrying case for the map, Some cool jewelry, informational books, blocks (I think they are called) to be able to participate in some of the poses. They also had music. There is a yoga book club, There is yoga teacher training. Classes range from little people, teens, pregnant women and adults. There is a gentle class, reikki and many others to choose from. The teachers are motivational, inspiring and give good support to the newbies. Try this place.... They give free sessions when you are new and try ... then you purchase a plan and they fees are standard for the area its in. Ill be back!! Thanks all read more

This place is the real deal. It has been my refuge for over two years. I am a young cancer survivor, have endured many difficult (muscle compromising) surgeries and have never felt stronger or healthier thanks to Absolute Yoga. I love this yoga studio. The owner is very sweet! I really enjoy the prenatal yoga classes. I am 9 months and started taking the class 3 months ago. I was in a lot of pain, my sciatic, hips and back really were waking me up at night. Once I started the yoga class @ Absolute the pain went away & I am pain free! I also love how she gives birthing tips since she is a mother. It's an hour and a half of pure relaxation!! The pricing isn't bad either! Check it out!!! read more

Hands down the very best teachers on Long Island and possible the best staff, too! ;) Yes, I've worked at Absolute for four years however I was a student prior for about as long. I wouldn't practice anywhere else! Leslie, the owner and director, is one of the most incredible people I've ever met, personally and professionally. I loved the teacher I had and the class was very challenging (open vinyasa flow). However, the owner (or whoever it was at the front desk, she acted like the owner?) was very rude to me. She asked me a question and then was sarcastic as if she didn't believe me. There are plenty of other yoga studios I could go to where nobody will be rude and people will be non-judgmental in the spirit of yoga. read more

Absolute Yoga studio.. is absolutely lovely. This is my go-to studio whenever I visit my family on LI. The studio is really beautiful, and MUCH nicer than any other LI studio I have been to. The class highlights are Adrienne's and Jenny's classes, and if you really want to kick your butt, Adam's class will do just that. I took one single class that I didn't love (but it came w/ a warning from the front desk when I asked that it was a very fast class, so perhaps that's my fault for not listening.) All teachers have been adept, and I have never felt judged or uncomfortable at this studio unlike so many city studios. read more

I love this place. I started going because my favorite teacher moved started teaching classes there. She is a certified Anusara teacher and I like the philosophy and teaching style of Anusara. Since then she has moved but I have stayed. Leslie (the owner) and another teacher Sharon both teach Anusara classes which I regulary attend. They are both very nice and helpful really help throughout the class. I hurt my back recently and all of the teachers have been great with telling me what I should not do even though my type A personality wants me to do more. I should say that I took a couple of other classes in a different style and those were very good also. All I can say is that this place is great, its clean, spacious, and you always feel welcome. If you need a great yoga studio go on down and try a class. read more

Great variety of classes offered everyday. Very knowledgeable, helpful teachers. Friendly, happy front desk staff. Clean, spacious practice rooms. You can bring your own mat, or use one of the studio's, as well as their blankets and props. I love absolute yoga, and highly recommend this studio. read more
