Best and most effective PT facility I've ever been to! Well trained staff using modern and sophisticated equipment. My second course of treatment here, both post surgery. Recommend without any reservations! read more

Sloane Stecker has restored me. I have had neck pain as well as back pain in the past many months. The physical therapists are professional and clinically proficient. The physical therapists care about their patients and their progress in getting better. I have been extremely fortunate. I have had consistency in the care provided to me. Gino was my primary PT for my back with Erlin taking care of me when Gino was on vacation. They cared about my well being and my progress. When my back improved and my neck needed attention, I was seen by Alex and then Valentina, who has helped me immensely. I have finally reached the point of being "discharged". That's a good thing. I no longer need formal PT; rather, I will continue my home exercises. The staff at Sloane has cared about my clinical problems and addressed them expertly. Thank you very much. read more

I first went to Sloane Stecker on Wednesday 3/6 at their Irvington Location. Was very impressed with their level of Knowledge and professionalism. The evaluation they gave me and course of treatment was very gratifying. Worked with Joe and Emily both Colombia University graduates. I have a pinched nerve in my leg and all that I want is to get rid of the pain and play golf. I have very confidence that they will help me achieve my goal. read more

I can say enough praise for this location. I passed out and ended up suffering from post concussion syndrome. As a law enforcement officer, I was put on light duty. Nicole from Sloane Stecker was a savior. We worked on foundation and the great part was her patience and enthusiasm for her clients. After the foundation, we worked on job related training such as explosive power. 7 months later I'm here Training and getting better. I'm back on full duty and continually getting back to my normal self Thank you Nicole and Sloane stecker. read more

I attended Sloane Stecker in Irvington NY and Michella Drumm was my Physical Therapist. She is a very empathetic, thorough, and attentive person. I felt that her knowledge was excellent about my condition and she worked collaboratively to develop a care plan. Michella is compassionate, well organized, respectful and extremely skilled as a physical therapist! I would highly recommend Michella Drumm as an awesome physical therapist, and the Sloane Stecker staff. read more

My experience with Sloane Stecker was unbe-knee-vable. After a knee injury baffled my orthopedist, I was shipped off to PT as a last ditch measure before surgery. While my injury ultimately could not be healed with PT, I still had a positive experience at Sloane Stecker. My therapist, Roland, was a stand up gent. He fielded my constant banter with ease and kept the experience light. I think it's vital to be a people-person in this kind of establishment and Roland has got the good stuff. The facility is really pleasant, with no pennies pinched. They have two gravity treadmills which feel a bit like stepping into a SpaceX rocket. Every measure was taken to make the environment comfortable. Personally, the only odd aspect is the glass front wall, which doesn't make thrusting my hips into the air feel all that private. Overall I felt PT was worth the try and although it wasn't right for my injury, I will certainly come back next time I have a catastrophic softball accident. read more

I have had physical therapy several times at Sloan Stecker Westchester, most recently for neck arthritis and a pinched nerve. The therapists with whom I have worked, Larry and Chris, have been professional and diligent, and the therapy has really helped me. I no longer feel the burning pain that led me to seek therapy, and Larry and Chris have shown me the exercises and stretches to do at home in order to keep the discomfort from returning. They also have helped me strengthen the surrounding muscles. It has been a very positive experience! read more

I wanted to provide an update on SS physical therapy, as my treatment has concluded. I can only say amazing things about the staff at Sloane. After attending therapy for nearly 6 weeks, I really got to know everyone there, especially the manager (Connie) and lead therapist (Rushi), who are two of my favorite people in the PT world. Connie is one of the kindest, professional, knowledgeable and helpful managers I've come across. She's always willing to go the extra mile for her clients, all while having a smile on her face. She was able to troubleshoot any issues I had with scheduling and my insurance (which can sometimes be worse than the injury itself!) and always made sure I never had to wait during my scheduled appointments. She's definitely the perfect face person for this company. Rushi is by far one of the best physical therapists I have ever worked with. Being an ex-pro athlete, I've had my fair share of injuries and PT sessions. Rushi was not only extremely knowledgeable about my injury and able to suggest different treatment strategies to speed up the healing process, but was also attentive and patient to the laundry list of questions I had. Not only this, he's a great guy to talk with and relate-able, which is always welcomed when you're spending that much time with someone and treating an injury that you're already bummed about having. Overall, these two made my time with SS awesome and are a great asset to the company. Keep up the great work! read more

I've been going to Sloane for the last 8 weeks for my knees (in the Yonkers office). Sloane is a great physical therapist-- really knows his stuff and goes the extra mile to make sure that you are getting better and progressing. The other therapists in the office all seem very competent and very friendly. And Maria (the office manager) is also very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place, and if I ever hurt my knees again, I know where I'm coming. read more

I have been coming to Sloane Stecker off and on for a couple of years and have always received excellent treatment and help. I am currently working on a pair of bad knees which I ignored for too long. Working with Brandon, a delightful young man, I have really lucked out. On Day 1 he took great pains to analyze the problems not only with my knees but my legs. Along with work on various machines, he has given me some basic exercises and is continually finding ways to push me forward. When I can't handle a machine or exercise, he quickly finds an alternative. I have gotten considerably stronger and after each session I leave feeling uplifted and motivated to keep working. Last year I worked with Dorothy for six months on back and balance issues. She too was a delight to work with, always coming up with diverse and sometimes even fun exercises. I made substantial improvement and still incorporate a lot of what we did into my daily routine. I missed her a lot when she went back to the city facility full time. Christina H. read more

I cannot say enough great things about Sloane Stecker in Irvington. Both of my children received excellent care after suffering serious sports injuries (e.g. back and shoulder). The PT played a vital role in their recovery and even taught them the ins and outs of how to reduce the chances of re-injury through proper maintenance and strength-training. From the actual physical therapy to dealing with insurance companies/billing, Rick, Bianca, Kelly and Megan make for a fantastic team and go out of their way to streamline the entire experience. read more

I've had a few round of PT at Sloane Stecker and have been very pleased each time. The facilities are attractive and inviting, and the therapists I've worked with have all been excellent. Most recently, I worked on neck and shoulder issues with Meghan Higgins, who listened well and switched up the exercises to keep them interesting and challenging. I recommend her enthusiastically! read more

I have been coming to Sloane Stecker PT (SS PT) as a patient since 2009. The one-on-one care is what makes this place different. Other places give you exercises to do and walk away, not SS PT!! He has the best therapists and they really take the time to work with you and get to know you. Having been to other PT places, makes me appreciate SS PT. So what do I think makes SS PT so good? The office staff, Connie, Julie, Katie and Kelly are super nice and accommodating. The PTs are incredibly nice and really know their stuff. Unfortunately I have had my share of injuries and surgeries, but I know I will get the best care at SS PT, I will be up and running in no time. read more

Sloane Stecker is a great place to go for people who are rehabbing surgeries. In December I had reconstruction surgery on my ACL. I m a very active individual so I anticipated a radical change in my lifestyle, however Sloane Stecker helped me to a speedy recovery and allowed me to continue living an active lifestyle very quickly. The staff are great and are very adept and prepared for all scenarios. It's very difficult time for people and the staff make it a very comfortable setting for people to recover, and I can confidently say that they helped my knee more then I could have ever expected. read more
