I've taken more than my fair share of yoga classes with a variety of teaches, many of whom are stellar - however, Jen is by far the best. She starts off the class with just the perfect thing to say to you midweek - something inspiring yet relatable in her cool soothing voice. Every class I've taken with her is different and every class is great. She mixes it up enough to keep you on your toes but as a regular one can pick up on her style, whatever that is. When I met with Susan, I got the feeling that this would be a safe place to try. I started with the beginner's package which I have repeated several times over the past year. I now understand the meaning of "yoga practice". For me, the progress was slow and steady but the results have been amazing. My posture feels 100% better. My back pain is just about gone. Susan is a wonderful teacher! She has a genuine desire to help each of her students. She is part instructor, part coach and if needed, part cheerleader or part drill sergeant. And she hires other instructors with the same approach. The classes are small and even the more advanced students get individual attention to help them improve their practice. Everyone has different challenges and limits but Susan takes a sincere, personal interest in coaching people through them, as do all of the teachers. I highly recommend this place!

I started attending Susan's classes 2x a week a few weeks ago and the pain that sometimes was so debilitating I couldn't walk first thing in the morning is unbelievably almost gone!! The classes are gentle poses using props that create an environment suited to both beginners and the more experienced in yoga. Classes are small and nonjudgmental. You practice at your own level. Yoga poses are combined with guided meditation leaving me feeling renewed and at peace after each session. Compared to what I paid for PT the prices per session are very reasonable. I just can't say enough about Susan and all the instructors here.
