This studio prioritizes rigid policy over customer care, and I want to be specific so others can make an informed decision before booking. Their late policy is absolute: arrive even one minute past your class time and you will be locked out and charged -- no exceptions, including unforeseen circumstances. They do not answer their phone and do not accept voicemail, so there is no way to reach anyone in real time if something goes wrong. If you have time blindness, executive function challenges, ADHD, Cptsd, or a highly sensitive nervous system, this studio is not designed with you in mind. It is not trauma-informed, and the environment does not accommodate neurodivergence in any meaningful way. For those who need consistency and predictability, it's also worth knowing they have modified the traditional hot yoga sequence -- so what you practice here may not be what you expect. The waitlist system is also poorly communicated; you may not know you've been moved from a class you reserved until it's too late to plan around it. Beyond logistics, the atmosphere feels cold and unwelcoming -- though I'll leave it to others to determine how much of that is the studio versus the region. This studio is BUSINESS FOCUSED rather than CUSTOMER focused, which contributes to the stressed, unfriendly state of the world today. Definitely try out yogafreak (or just join monthly unlimited;) The classes here are amazing with bright energy and passionate, knowledgeable instructors. My favorite part is the different types of classes you can take, so it's not just original hot yoga but other types as well along with HIIT of course! This makes it fun to switch it up and also take a couple of classes in a row if you wanted, since they schedule different ones back to back. Another hugeeeee plus for me is that they have early morning classes and late at night if you slept through the morning ones like I often do LOL (along with late morning/ mid day, early evening etc). Additionally, the staff is nice & welcoming and I oftentimes see instructors paying extra attention/TLC to newcomers If you're a hot room lover then deff come to Yoga Freak ASAP!!!! read more

This studio is EVERYTHING. RUN do not walk here.. I love hot yoga.. as a nurse it is one of my favorite activities. I am not at all good at it, but I love it. I walked into the stupid timid and afraid. As a travel nurse I walk into a new studio all the time just terrified. I was met with smiles not only from the owner, and the instructor but from other members. It is literally the nicest set of people. The class flowed beautifully and I left feeling top of the world. Again I am not good at yoga but it was such a good time. I was welcomed, the class was amazing, the studio is gorgeous. I love it here. read more

I am a new comer to Hot Yoga. I was hooked from the first class. The activity is both mentally and physically challenging. I have felt improvements already with my lower back pain & in my breathing with just a few classes. Frannie, Olivia & Jessica are amazing instructors who lead great classes. The environment and energy at this place, alongside the community is very positive, welcoming, and loving. This will definitely be something I am sticking to long term. I joined this studio because I wanted to support owner's new business and start. However, apparently, she didn't like me and even gave me an attitude. I didn't feel welcome and I was sad to experience it. I liked her when she was only a yoga teacher. In the locker room, I overheard other people talking about her strong character, so I wasn't the only one who felt that way. Lots of instructors working end up here because they are getting bad reviews or been fired at other studios except Tricia and Emma who are professionals by their hearts. After confirming Frannie's unwelcome attitude, I decided not to come back without using all tickets, and switched to other studios. Meanwhile other studios improved their customer service and its gotten better. Much happier not engaging bad energy. Customer is always right. read more

I loveeeee Monday Mornings HIT classes that Bikram Rye Brook offers. The class has energy, the studio is always clean, You sweat and the workout is awesome. I also love Frannie the owner. She has personality and spunk and makes each experience at Bikram Rye Brook positive. I've been doing yoga for almost 12 years all over the world and this is one of my favorite studios. Having been to many bikram yoga studios, I am pleased to recommend this one. The owner, Frannie, is a class act. She understands customer service in a way that few still do. The studio's state of the art heating system and humidifier make the perfect atmosphere automatically. The place is brand new and very clean. Word of caution, the studio is located in the back of the plaza, so if you're staring at CVS and the GPS tells you that you've arrived, you have, just drive around to the back of the parking lot. Bikram Yoga Rye Brook is a great studio and a great addition to the larger Bikram community. The facilities are state of the art, so you can expect optimal heat and humidity. The locker rooms are brand spanking new and very clean, in fact the whole place is immaculate. Best of all, Frannie has assembled an excellent team of teachers.
