I'm beyond happy I chose Absolute Packers for my move!! I moved from one apartment to another down the road and I decided to use the request a quote feature to get an estimate for my move. Kareem was one of the first people to get back to me and had one of the best rates. I called Kareem and he was very friendly and accommodating on the phone. He asked me to take pictures and or videos of everything we had to move out of our apartment which is a lot easier than making a larger list. He confirmed the rate with me and sent me an invoice and was able to provide COI as well which is great if your building needs it. All we had to do was put a $100 deposit down and then pay the rest on the day of the move. The day of the move arrives and Kareem gives me a call to let me know hes downstairs. He had two very nice hard working men with him as well named D and Orlando. The absolute crew followed us to our apartment and I'm not even kidding two seconds after entering the door they start picking up boxes and packing everything up. They work quickly and effectively but not in a careless manner. They made sure to do everything very securely and asked us a lot of questions along the way. They were asking us some questions while moving and my girlfriend was talking to me as well and I was getting a little worked up just from the anxiety of moving and Kareem said in a very calm manner "hey man were here to take all of the stress out of the moving process! dont worry about it at all!" and sure enough, the Absolute Crew lived up to those words! They packed everything up in our first apartment within an hour and we were off to our next apartment!!!! We were suppose to have the loading dock reserved at our new apartment but for some reason, there was another truck there that we eventually got them to move but it took 20 minutes for the other truck to move. Kareem and the absolute crew did not complain about this at all. Same thing with the unpack, they did everything quickly and effectively and made sure not to damage anything. D put the legs back on our dresser and assembled our bed frame for us too which was very nice. I had a lot of collectibles (figures, pops all fragile stuff that's super expensive) that I was moving myself so I went up and down with the crew quite a lot in the elevator, and Kareem mentioned that he had been doing this for 20 years, which is certainly showed based on how quick they were and how much care and effort he put into it. By the end of the day we were laughing and joking with each other and basically good friends by the end of the day. We had a few extra things not in the quote (a few boxes and a mirror) which the Absolute Crew took at no additional cost which was very nice of them considering when you move and when you get a quote you always want to try to be right on the money with the exact amount of stuff you have, so this took so much stress out of the day!!!!!!!!!!! They finished the move in 3 hours start to finish since we were just right down the road from our old place and Kareem just sent me an invoice to my email for the remainder amount, which I paid, I signed my receipt on his phone and we gave them a very nice tip for being awesome and taking the extra stuff. 10/10 would recommend this mover and will definitely use Absolute if I ever needed to move again! read more

Kareem is great! To prepare for my move, I first tried to contact a few moving companies on Yelp, asking for their quotes. Kareem not only was the first to respond but responded in less than five minutes! He offered me a price that was very reasonable, which turned out to be the best price I received as compared to all the other quotes that were later returned to me. I decided to go with Kareem at that point, and we were able to immediately set up a moving day just 3 days after I called. The day before our agreed moving day the elevators in my ex-apartment were sadly broken, and I updated Kareem on the news. Unbelievably, Kareem told me that we were still able to move on the same day even with the broken elevators! And on we rolled (Kareem's team literally rolled all my furniture and boxes down the 5-floored staircase, very safely, efficiently, and skillfully. It amazed me to have watched them doing their trick). Throughout the moving process, Kareem was a great leader for his team. He has a great knack for making the hectic moving process organized, and his team worked very well together. Since my husband was chasing after a work deadline, he wasn't able to help me pack much, and when Kareem and his team arrived, I still had stuff lying around. Kareem helped me pack the rest of the stuff as well -- of course a lot faster than I was able to. With Kareem and his team's wonderful work, the whole moving process was completed in less than 2 hours! Overall I can't believe how stress-free Kareem made the move for me, and I would definitely refer him to my friends and contact him again if I move in the future. read more

I cannot say enough positive things about Absolute Packers and the owner Kareem. Kareem and his team of two handled my mother's move from Hamden to Brooklyn flawlessly. Kareem came a day early to get a jump on the packing and continued the day of the move while his men moved the furniture onto the truck. Not only did they fully protect the furniture and walls, Kareem's packing was so thorough it was if he were packing the crown jewels. With over 40 years of stuff every glass, dish, picture, knickknack and piece of art made it without a mark, chip or crack. Their attention to every detail of the move made it a hassle-free experience, how often do you hear a move described in those terms! Kareem gave us a very fair price which included all his expenses including boxes, wrapping paper and of course gas and tolls. Kareem and his men were very professional and kind. They knew this move was not an easy one for my mother and they were extremely respectful and greatly helped my mom with this difficult transition. If I could give Absolute Packers 10 stars I would. Thank you again. read more

All I have to say is WOW! What an amazing business. Kareem and his team helped us move our two bedroom house from seymour to Cheshire in... two hours! From the moment I called Kareem he made it so easy. I had called around multiple companies and with he other companies I spoke to a receptionist would speak for a long time going over all the things I owned. When I called Kareem he picked up and we spoke for a bit, he went over pricing and it was so easy to schedule. Plus the pricing for Absolute packers was half of the other five companies I called. Plus no hidden fees. The price was just as quoted. Kareem and his team arrived right on time and got straight to work. I saw them move six boxes at a time. They were the best moving company we have ever worked with. They were so pleasant and nice. All the boxes went to their labeled rooms and nothing harmed. Moving actually was not stressful with heir help. I'm still so impressed they got our move done in two hours. Will definitely use them again and recommend them to all my friends and family thinking of moving. read more

SIX stars and two thumbs up for Kareem!!!! I was dealing with the loss of my Mom and I needed to move some personal items of great sentimental value from Connecticut to California. I could not get to CT to pack and was under time pressure. I looked on line, saw the good yelp reviews and contacted Absolute Packers. I was very nervous about having someone I had never met handle items that were in some cases fragile, in other very odd and difficult shapes and sizes and important to me personally. I took a leap and I am SO glad I did! Kareem was fair, kind, efficient and FANTASTIC. He showed up as promised, packed everything and stored it for me while I figured out how to get it transported to CA. Kareem to the rescue! He arranged the transportation for me as well. The two guys who did the delivery were great. I unpacked and everything it in PERFECT condition! I am so happy! I am so relieved and I did not spend a fortune in the process. THANK YOU KAREEM! HIGHLY recommend to anyone! read more

I recently had the pleasure of utilizing Absolute Packers Moving Company for a small move and I am thrilled to report that their service was simply outstanding! From the first interaction to the last box unloaded, their team was professional, efficient, and exceptionally careful. They treated my belongings as if they were their own, ensuring that everything arrived at my new location in pristine condition. Absolute Packers' team was prompt and worked diligently to keep the move on schedule, a feature I highly appreciated during such a potentially stressful time. Their pricing was transparent with no hidden fees, and the value for the service provided was exceptional. Without a doubt, Absolute Packers Moving Company turned a typically stressful moving day into a smooth, trouble-free experience. I cannot recommend them enough for anyone in need of a reliable and professional moving service. Five stars all the way! read more

If I could give Kareem and his team 10 stars, I would!!! He was very professional and super efficient when I was moving apartments. He and his team arrived on time with all the necessary equipment and wrapped my furniture so that it would not get damaged. I was totally blown away by the fact that the entire process just took two hours - I mean literally from the time they arrived at my old apartment and moved everything into my new apartment! If you are looking around for a mover, please look no further - Kareem is the man to call. I would recommend him to anyone and will definitely use his services again in future when I need to move. He will also give you the most pocket friendly price in the market.. - trust me, I did my research and at the end of it all you will be so impressed that you may decide to give him a generous tip like I did :-) read more

I am forever a fan of Kareem and his crew. In addition to having all the equipment at hand to move my entire three bedroom two bath house, they helped me to pack last minute things, downsize, and remove trash. Kareem's rates are excellent and his crew is fast, professional, and kind. My family has been through hell over the last two years and I really expected to have a difficult day. I never expected it to be such a happy experience. I was literally crying at the start of the day and laughing at the end. They did everything they could to make the day stress free for me. So not only did Kareem, Aaron, Bear, and KJ do an excellent job moving me across the state to a third floor apartment, they reminded me there are good, beautiful people in this world. Thank you Kareem. read more

Kareem and his two colleagues helped us move last month. We originally had a different moving company booked for our moved and less than 12 hours before our scheduled move they canceled on us. I found Absolute Packers when searching for last minute movers the morning of our move and they were able to help us move that same morning! Kareem and his colleagues were very efficient and friendly. They moved all of our things including items we had originally planned on moving on our own because we saw how well they wrapped our belongings for protection (TVs and other fragile items we weren't sure we wanted others to move for us to avoid any damage). I highly recommend hiring them for your future move! read more

After researching multiple moving companies and reading reviews we called Absolute Packers. Kareem was very pleasant and offered to come out that afternoon to take inventory of what we were moving. He got back to us later that evening with an estimate and proved to be the lowest price of the few companies we had inquired with. Kareem kept in contact and offered help through our packing. On moving day they arrived on time and made sure all our big items were securely wrapped and protected. We thought our move would be difficult seeing as we had items going to a home and storage but Kareem and his amazing crew pulled it off seamlessly. We are extremely happy with our choice. Thank you Kareem. read more

Had a great experience last Saturday with Absolute Packers. The closing on my house was last minute and I had 48 Hours to leave my rental and they came through big time. They were on time and carefully packed our belongings in their truck. the 3 man crew were prepared for any obstacle my 3 floor townhouse threw at them and were professional from start to finish. In my previous move I cheaped out and did the Uhaul with helpers. the two experiences were completely different. the quote that Kareem gave me was less than another moving company, but all the 5 star reviews on yelp and google made me give them a shot. 100% smartest choice. If I ever move again I'll only call Absolute Packers. read more

Kareem and his men did a wonderful job. There were no bad surprises . They were very professional . Our home has new carpeting and they were very careful not to get it dirty. They showed up on time for the move and moved all of our furniture with great care. Nothing was damaged in the move. It was easy to get a hold of Kareem with questions and concerns . This was an out of state move and we had many questions. During the moved we also had a storage unit that required emptying . This was taken care of with out any issue as well. We have moved many times and this was the best company that I have used so far. I highly recommend the company. read more

Kareem and his team were professional, prompt, skilled, friendly, and great communicators throughout the process. I shopped around for prices, and he was the lowest. He also brought 3 people when other movers said they'd only have 2. We had to move a piano from Bridgeport to New Haven, and they did a great job! I highly recommend him and his team, and would definitely use them again for any move in the future. Thank you, Kareem! (This is the first Yelp review I've ever written, and I'm doing it as a way of showing my appreciation to Kareem and his team, because they really deserve it. Top notch movers!) read more

Kareem and his crew were amazing moving my piano. I got a quote within minutes. A date was set immediately. I got an invoice before the move. I got a text the day before and the morning of the move as additional confirmation. They were on time, professional, courteous, and careful. They all showed up wearing face masks as recommended due to Covid-19. No surprises when it came time to pay. The quote I got was the final price. Very reasonable. The move went so well, I am thankful I found them on Yelp. I wold recommend them for any move. Thanks guys! read more

Kareem and AB packers were great!. I had them move a bedroom of furniture from Bridgeport to Wilton. The move went like clockwork. The movers were friendly and easy to deal with. They were great!. Efficient was an understatement. (Side note. Last year I hired those two dudes and a truck to move the exact same things less than 10 miles. They took about 5 hours. I was far from happy with them. AB took about 4 hours and that included the travel time of over 30 mins). I highly recommend Absolute Packers. They were great from start to finish! read more

Kareem and his team are professional, knowledgeable, courteous and go beyond the call of duty. Kareem and his team showed up with masks and muscles to get everything that needed to be done in a timely manner. It was my birthday and I felt down about moving that day but Kareem and his team made me feel better. I felt as if I was being moved by family members. I will be using Absolute Packers for my next move and highly recommend them to anyone in need of great movers. I just wish I could give more than 5 stars! Thank you Kareem & team! read more

Kareem and his team did an amazing job. I hired them for a long-distance move from CT to FL with only a few weeks to spare. They loaded up our 4-bedroom home, drove the truck, and unloaded on the exact day I wanted delivery. There is no other moving company that will do long-distance moves and gives you a set date and time for delivery. They wrapped all our furniture with care, and made this big move so much easier! Please share this with your friends and have them call Absolute packers for their next big move, worth every penny! read more

Absolute Packers moved 2 college students locally, Kareem and his team were absolutely fantastic! Kareem was great about communicating when they would arrive even in the morning when they were running a little later than expected. They were very efficient and very careful with our furniture. They also made sure everything was placed where it needed to be and that we were happy with everything before they left. I would highly recommend Kareem and his team to anyone looking for an easy, stress-free move! read more

Kareem, Darrell, Aaron, and Rasheed did an outstanding job of moving my household items out of state. I have several sentimental antiques, and they took extra caution to ensure they were given appropriate attention. Everything that Kareem and I discussed he and his guys delivered on and exceeded my expectations. I wasn't entirely ready for them and Kareem told me "I got you". And he certainly did! Outstanding service, great guys, and a competitive price that delivered value. Go with these guys! read more
