I'm beyond happy I chose Absolute Packers for my move!! I moved from one apartment to another down the road and I decided to use the request a quote feature to get an estimate for my move. Kareem was one of the first people to get back to me and had one of the best rates. I called Kareem and he was very friendly and accommodating on the phone. He asked me to take pictures and or videos of everything we had to move out of our apartment which is a lot easier than making a larger list. He confirmed the rate with me and sent me an invoice and was able to provide COI as well which is great if your building needs it. All we had to do was put a $100 deposit down and then pay the rest on the day of the move. The day of the move arrives and Kareem gives me a call to let me know hes downstairs. He had two very nice hard working men with him as well named D and Orlando. The absolute crew followed us to our apartment and I'm not even kidding two seconds after entering the door they start picking up boxes and packing everything up. They work quickly and effectively but not in a careless manner. They made sure to do everything very securely and asked us a lot of questions along the way. They were asking us some questions while moving and my girlfriend was talking to me as well and I was getting a little worked up just from the anxiety of moving and Kareem said in a very calm manner "hey man were here to take all of the stress out of the moving process! dont worry about it at all!" and sure enough, the Absolute Crew lived up to those words! They packed everything up in our first apartment within an hour and we were off to our next apartment!!!! We were suppose to have the loading dock reserved at our new apartment but for some reason, there was another truck there that we eventually got them to move but it took 20 minutes for the other truck to move. Kareem and the absolute crew did not complain about this at all. Same thing with the unpack, they did everything quickly and effectively and made sure not to damage anything. D put the legs back on our dresser and assembled our bed frame for us too which was very nice. I had a lot of collectibles (figures, pops all fragile stuff that's super expensive) that I was moving myself so I went up and down with the crew quite a lot in the elevator, and Kareem mentioned that he had been doing this for 20 years, which is certainly showed based on how quick they were and how much care and effort he put into it. By the end of the day we were laughing and joking with each other and basically good friends by the end of the day. We had a few extra things not in the quote (a few boxes and a mirror) which the Absolute Crew took at no additional cost which was very nice of them considering when you move and when you get a quote you always want to try to be right on the money with the exact amount of stuff you have, so this took so much stress out of the day!!!!!!!!!!! They finished the move in 3 hours start to finish since we were just right down the road from our old place and Kareem just sent me an invoice to my email for the remainder amount, which I paid, I signed my receipt on his phone and we gave them a very nice tip for being awesome and taking the extra stuff. 10/10 would recommend this mover and will definitely use Absolute if I ever needed to move again! read more

Kareem is great! To prepare for my move, I first tried to contact a few moving companies on Yelp, asking for their quotes. Kareem not only was the first to respond but responded in less than five minutes! He offered me a price that was very reasonable, which turned out to be the best price I received as compared to all the other quotes that were later returned to me. I decided to go with Kareem at that point, and we were able to immediately set up a moving day just 3 days after I called. The day before our agreed moving day the elevators in my ex-apartment were sadly broken, and I updated Kareem on the news. Unbelievably, Kareem told me that we were still able to move on the same day even with the broken elevators! And on we rolled (Kareem's team literally rolled all my furniture and boxes down the 5-floored staircase, very safely, efficiently, and skillfully. It amazed me to have watched them doing their trick). Throughout the moving process, Kareem was a great leader for his team. He has a great knack for making the hectic moving process organized, and his team worked very well together. Since my husband was chasing after a work deadline, he wasn't able to help me pack much, and when Kareem and his team arrived, I still had stuff lying around. Kareem helped me pack the rest of the stuff as well -- of course a lot faster than I was able to. With Kareem and his team's wonderful work, the whole moving process was completed in less than 2 hours! I cannot say enough positive things about Absolute Packers and the owner Kareem. Kareem and his team of two handled my mother's move from Hamden to Brooklyn flawlessly. Kareem came a day early to get a jump on the packing and continued the day of the move while his men moved the furniture onto the truck. Not only did they fully protect the furniture and walls, Kareem's packing was so thorough it was if he were packing the crown jewels. With over 40 years of stuff every glass, dish, picture, knickknack and piece of art made it without a mark, chip or crack. Their attention to every detail of the move made it a hassle-free experience, how often do you hear a move described in those terms! Kareem gave us a very fair price which included all his expenses including boxes, wrapping paper and of course gas and tolls. Kareem and his men were very professional and kind. All I have to say is WOW! What an amazing business. Kareem and his team helped us move our two bedroom house from seymour to Cheshire in... two hours! From the moment I called Kareem he made it so easy. I had called around multiple companies and with he other companies I spoke to a receptionist would speak for a long time going over all the things I owned. When I called Kareem he picked up and we spoke for a bit, he went over pricing and it was so easy to schedule. Plus the pricing for Absolute packers was half of the other five companies I called. Plus no hidden fees. The price was just as quoted. Kareem and his team arrived right on time and got straight to work. I saw them move six boxes at a time. They were the best moving company we have ever worked with. They were so pleasant and nice. All the boxes went to their labeled rooms and nothing harmed. SIX stars and two thumbs up for Kareem!!!! I was dealing with the loss of my Mom and I needed to move some personal items of great sentimental value from Connecticut to California. I could not get to CT to pack and was under time pressure. I looked on line, saw the good yelp reviews and contacted Absolute Packers. I was very nervous about having someone I had never met handle items that were in some cases fragile, in other very odd and difficult shapes and sizes and important to me personally. I took a leap and I am SO glad I did! Kareem was fair, kind, efficient and FANTASTIC. In addition to having all the equipment at hand to move my entire three bedroom two bath house, they helped me to pack last minute things, downsize, and remove trash. Kareem and his two colleagues helped us move last month. We originally had a different moving company booked for our moved and less than 12 hours before our scheduled move they canceled on us. I found Absolute Packers when searching for last minute movers the morning of our move and they were able to help us move that same morning! Kareem and his colleagues were very efficient and friendly. They moved all of our things including items we had originally planned on moving on our own because we saw how well they wrapped our belongings for protection (TVs and other fragile items we weren't sure we wanted others to move for us to avoid any damage). Had a great experience last Saturday with Absolute Packers. The closing on my house was last minute and I had 48 Hours to leave my rental and they came through big time. They were on time and carefully packed our belongings in their truck. the 3 man crew were prepared for any obstacle my 3 floor townhouse threw at them and were professional from start to finish. In my previous move I cheaped out and did the Uhaul with helpers. the two experiences were completely different. the quote that Kareem gave me was less than another moving company, but all the 5 star reviews on yelp and google made me give them a shot. 100% smartest choice. Kareem and his men did a wonderful job. There were no bad surprises . They were very professional . Our home has new carpeting and they were very careful not to get it dirty. They showed up on time for the move and moved all of our furniture with great care. Nothing was damaged in the move. It was easy to get a hold of Kareem with questions and concerns . This was an out of state move and we had many questions. During the moved we also had a storage unit that required emptying . This was taken care of with out any issue as well. Kareem and his crew were amazing moving my piano. I got a quote within minutes. A date was set immediately. I got an invoice before the move. I got a text the day before and the morning of the move as additional confirmation. They were on time, professional, courteous,and careful. Kareem and AB packers were great!. I had them move a bedroom of furniture from Bridgeport to Wilton. The move went like clockwork. The movers were friendly and easy to deal with. They were great!. Efficient was an understatement. (Side note. Last year I hired those two dudes and a truck to move the exact same things less than 10 miles. They took about 5 hours. I was far from happy with them. AB took about 4 hours and that included the travel time of over 30 mins). I highly recommend Absolute Packers. They were great from start to finish! read more
