I had some work done after an accident and discovered some dripping paint and tape marks on my door. I brought my car back to them to show them and have them fix it. Glenda proceeded to tell me that it couldn't have been them that did this and it must have been someone else. I have never brought my car to another place for body work, so it couldn't have happened elsewhere. Recently someone hit my car while it was parked and didn't leave a note, so I thought I would bring it back to Absolute and also have them fix the paint drip on the door. After giving me an estimate, they decided that they didn't want my business and I should take my car elsewhere. If I were you I would do the same thing. read more

Customer service was a problem... I brought my dads truck in to have a new tailgate put on... Told me to drop it off so I did then next day was told I needed to come get it because they were not able to find a solid tailgate like they said they did. Ok not that big of a deal.. Then weeks go by and no call back. So I called 4 TIMES in about 3 months and each time I asked for an update they said they couldn't really do anything and I just needed to wait and when I asked if I could try and help I was matched with very unprofessional attitude. Very unfortunate that these guys were incapable of helping me and treating me with disrespect just wanted a new tailgate. I found one today and had a conversation with them and a lady told me very rudely "Ok if it's so nice just bring it in" really guys? Are you kidding me? read more

I was in an accident and so worried about getting the repairs done because I didn't have a regular auto body shop preference. I found Absolute through my insurance so it could have been a much more stressful experience than it was. They got my car in right away and were only slightly behind schedule getting it back to me but I expected that. Only a couple other hiccups that the crew remedied right away. I was recently rear ended got a quote from my insurance so I called to set up an appointment spoke w Glenda. She seemed annoyed to be receiving a call, I then explained to her my situation and ask when is there an available time so I can bring my car in and get more information. She proceeds to give me a long explanation I told her I understand the procedure and she got upset that I was informed and had the knowledge and did not need any further explanation . She then gets snippy and says well we need to see the car to assess damages and I then asked again when can bring in my vehicle? She then says to just email photos. I proceed forward her photos of my damage and she responds w "I don't see any damage to your vehicle" I have 4 photos attached of front and back of my vehicle . So I asked to speak to an expert because she clearly can't see ! Then she responds and says their labor rates are to high that insurance does not cover I have to pay the difference out of pocket! I'm going back to one stop greenwood auto repair ! Also called them right after I got off the phone w Glenda and they gave me the soonest possible availability without hassle. They were hassle free and fast the first time I was hit and needed work completed. I recently moved to Everett wanted to give a new auto body shop a try closer to home . But I now would rather make the drive seeing the customer service I received from Glenda ! Do not recommend! read more

Someone hit my car and dented my passenger side door, at first the damage didn't seem too bad but the next day I discovered that the door wouldn't open. My friend suggested I call Absolute Auto, I did and they said they'd be happy to take a look. My mom took my car in and they were able to get the dent out that was causing the door not to open or shut! And they only charged a small fee. Quick, friendly and affordable! read more

I was approaching the end of my lease and I had some body work that needed to be done before turning in my vehicle. I took mt vehicle here to get an estimate and find the most affordable way possible to fix the damages. Glenda was very friendly to me and did all she could to help me reduce the cost as much as possible. Unfortunatley the week before my scheduled date of service I had had an unexpected medical situation arise and could no longer afford to have my vehicle repaired. So I am soley writing this review on customer service, not the actual repair... Glenda was friendly to me regarding the situation. I brought my mini van here back in 2008, I was backing out of my carport and my son opened the door and the post pushed my door all the way back. I had to force it shut Drove all over, saw this place, they fixed it in less than 10 minutes and for free! So when some lady ran in to me, I immediately remembered this place and kind they were. They took care of the rental car, they dealt with the insurance company, and they even text messaged through out the week to give me updates! When I went to pick my Yukon up, it looked amazing, and they even detailed it on the inside!!! Apparently that's thier policy, to give your car back to you cleaner than it was!! Awesome service, with a good rate. I was brought in under an insurance claim, and the service provided by them was phenomenal. I barely recognized my car when I picked it up! They cleaned both the inside and outside, I literally have never seen it that shiny before in the 10 years that my family has owned it! The car has additional work that needs to be done, and I will definitely bring it to them for the repairs. (on the note of rates, my fiancee had work that needed to be done on her car. She took it in to other shops and each shop's hourly rate was 15-20 dollars MORE per hour than absolute's quoted rate. That is a huge difference when you're talking about multiple day's worth of work). If you have work that needs to be done give them a try. read more

Took my 2003 BMW 330i here to get some estimates for a passenger door sill damage (due to hitting a curb). They worked with me with repair options according to how much i was willing to spend. One was a "proper repair that involved cutting out a door sill section and welding in a piece from a donor car. That was a $3600 repair option. That was more that half what the car was worth at the time probably. The other was to pull the dent out from under the side valance (skirt) enough to attach a new side skirt properly (with bunch of clips) and with paint, the remaining sheet metal imperfection would be hidden under the new side skirt. I chose this option for $550 labor/paint and the car looks like nothing happened to it. read more

I was involved in a traffic collision on 12/07/2018 and went to Absolute Auto body for an estimate. Glenda provided me with the estimate and assisted me throughout the whole repair process with the insurance company and getting a rental car, She was fantastic to work with. The day I brought my car in for repair I met with Boyd, the manager. He assisted me with all the paperwork and called for my rental car that arrived before I was finished. When car repairs were completed Cody provided me with a clean car and a small bottle of touch up paint along with two small brushes. I had a cracked tail light complements of my daughter. I had the new lens and they replaced it while the rear end was apart at no extra charge. They went far beyond what I expected. read more

I have to agree customer service is great however, their body work is not so great. I took my 2018 Tucson in to have the bumper and rear tailgate repaired after being rear ended. They gave me an estimate and had my car ready and back to me in a little less than a week. Unfortunately it was not properly repaired. The tailgate did not line up as it did before it was hit so, I took it back they re-evaluated it and said they would take it back in a fix it. I didn't hear anything for a couple of days so I contacted the office myself they said it would be done that day and I would be able to pick it up. Great! I picked it up tailgate and bumper looked great except the license plate was still cracked and should have been replaced. They said they would get one and call me when it was in. Nope. The final issue I noticed a couple days later while opening my tailgate I noticed that they did not match the paint properly. My paint is black solid no shimmer. The paint they used had shimmer to it. Though It's only noticeable In the sun it should not be that way at all. Needless to say I'm disappointed with this shop and would not recommend it. read more

Hmmm, absolute auto body? All I can say is Absolutely NOT a good experience! I am actually appalled I even have to give one star. I was driving home from Eastern Washington when a deer ran out in front of my vehicle that was full of me and my children. I swerved to assure it did not hit head on and go through my windshield, he instead hit from the front left corner of my bumper/fender and flung down the whole driver side of my car leaving a great deal of damage. I Contacted my insurance and they sent me to Absolute auto body. I Went first thing the next morning. A lady greeted my daughter and I then went outside to take photos. She came back less than 2 minutes later and said "well I find it odd that there is fresh paint on your vehicle?" To which I of course responded with "what do you mean?" She said "well clearly if you were in the accident yesterday you tried to cover this up by painting it but the paint doesn't match" I explained that I have owned the car for almost three years and have never had it painted or any body work done. She laughed and said "well I won't be helping you, our company won't be helping you and in fact I will be contacting State Farm (my insurance) to tell them as well as sending them my photos" she flat out was accusing me of trying to paint my car in the spots it was damaged.. I said "ma'am we drove all the way to almost the Idaho border and my car was almost completely brown from dirt and then it rained, my car is filthy if that is what you think you see" she interrupted with "you need to go, we won't be helping you and your insurance will be contacting you very shortly." I stated crying because 1. She was accusing me of something so wildly ridiculous 2. Her tone of disgust while speaking to me was low on so many levels 3. Just the night before I had been in a very bad accident with my children and now this woman was berating me in front of my daughter who also happened to be in the car with me at the time of the accident. My insurance called immediately and sent me elsewhere with an actual State Farm person on site. I was there at my appointment in less than two hours. A very nice, very competent intelligent woman who knows exactly how to do her job greeted me at the next place. She works directly for State Farm and she was appalled when I told her what had happened. She said 100% absolutely not acceptable for a company they Have contracts with to EVER treat anyone like that and it was 100% obvious that no one attempted to cover up any damage. Apparently before I purchased my car there was some damage and body work that had been done. It was not on my car fax which unfortunately happens. I doubt even the very reputable Long standing dealership I purchased it from even knew. So underneath in one spot maybe 4"x 6" there was a grey spot that had been sprayed to prevent rust before the person did any body work or painting. My car is pearlescent white!! If I was going to attempt to cover my car damage I certainly would NOT use a flat gray spray paint and considering my damage was from my front bumper to my back door why would I only spray a four by six inch spot? What purpose would that serve? And Hello!!!! I have insurance for the reason that if something does happen that it can be taken care of! I will never recommend Absolute auto to ANYONE EVER! I have since received a phone call apology as well as a text apology and an email apology from my insurance company and they have assured me that they will be Having someone contact their company to assure this doesn't happen again. I have yet to hear any apology from Absolute. No surprise!! read more
