Chris also found an issue with the roof cover of our dryer vent and took the initiative to fix that. I've had a lot of workers in my home and by far, this is the best experience I've had. Also, we were able to schedule the visit within a couple days of reaching out to Air Ducks, pricing was competitive and we were not up-charged (I had 3 other Air Duct cleaning companies that either quoted me outrageous prices or kept pushing add-ons. Air Ducks gave me a price over the phone and that was the price I paid. I'm so pleased with this company that I've already given their name to several friends and my next door neighbor has already booked a cleaning with Air Ducks. I had RKM install a new AC unit(compressor and furnace/blower) in 2019. It has been a disaster…read moresince then. 2 years later my compressor went out and had to pay over 2k to get it fixed. Another 2 years later in 2023 I call RKM for routine maintenance and all of a sudden my AC stops working. Over the course of a week I had 4 different techs come out including the owner. Another 1k bucks later my AC was fixed. Fast forward to 1 week ago, my AC stops working again for the 3rd time in a 6.5 years. Due to my history with RKM I decided to call another company out that did an amazing job. They thuroughly explained to me how the shortcuts that were taken installing my unit were the reasons the water drainage line was backing up and triggering a safety switch. They also showed me how during my last "routine maintenance" RKM decided not to put a basic air filter that goes in my blower/furnace. Im not willing to accuse them of purposely doing this but when you get hired for a routine maintenance and end up charging 1k to fix the problem you created it sure looks badly. I have receipts to show all of this and I should be charging RKM for the competent work that was done to fix the shortcuts and possible sabotage that came from their techs. Do yourself a favor and do a little extra research, you never know whos paying for reviews.

When I requested a quote from a local company Yelp offered to solicit identical competitive quotes from other highly rated companies. One of these companies was Riverside Air Duct Cleaning, which services even places here in San Diego. Ed was non-pushy and provided a very reasonable quote without gimmicks. As a matter of fact, it was orders of magnitude lower than all the other quotes, so I started asking more questions and looked closer at the reviews... still no gimmicks, no pressure. I made the appointment. The technician showed up at the beginning of the appointment window, clean cut, polite, and went right to work. He kept the place clean during the work and did a fabulous job.
