I had Dave come out and do a dryer duct cleaning. Very nice guy. They were in and out pretty quickly. I didn't think anything of it. Until 1-2 weeks later I was still having issues with long dry times of clothes that I thought would have improved significantly after the duct cleaning. It didn't so I had a dryer repair person out to further assess the drying time issue and we found a large hole 2"+ hole in thr dryer hose that runs from the dryer to the wall. Pictures below. I sent the below pictures to Dave's Rapid Dry Carpet Cleaning and asked why the hole would not be noticed or seen during their $150 service, and he basically it is not part of their service to visual inspect the last part of the ducting leading to the dryer as long as the ducting pressure seems improved. I explained to Dave I need to pay an additional service fee to find an issue that I would hope is caught easily during a dryer duct cleaning. I let Dave know I had to pay an additional $140 to find the real drying time issue. His only response was I should have called him before hiring another contractor, but I had no idea the ducting had a tear until the other repair person pulled out and started assessing the dryer. Bottom line I'm disappointed I was referred to Dave for excellent dryer ducting cleaning services, and even after being contacted he did not offer to reduce his fee to me for not catching an issue that should be part of a duct cleaning assess and inspecting all accessible ducting from the dryer to the exit point outside of the house, and that I had to pay another contractor to find. Please be warned before having this company clean your dryer ducts. read more

This review is long overdue but we want to recommend Dave and his company due to his honesty and compassion. We recently purchased a new home and out in a new dryer. We noticed that our laundry would not dry completely so of course I searched online to see what could be an issue and one of the scary things was seeing it could be a blocked dryer vent. I immediately looked on Yelp and sent a bunch of requests for someone to come out quickly. Within a day I received Dave's message and he was able to come out to our house with in a few days to take a look. He was on time and took his time to check our vent. He concluded that the vent was not blocked but could be our dryer. We were relieved! He also said he was not going to charge us for him coming out. We insisted we pay but he refused and just told us he just wanted us to have a safe home with no blocked vent. We asked if we can gov shim gas money and he still refused! I know that if we had someone else's come out we would have been charged. With that action, he created a customer even though we didn't need his services that day.
