After providing detailed information regarding the number of rooms, open areas and stairs to multiple Yelp carpet cleaners, I chose this company based on a low cost quote and high ratings compared to the others. Francisco and his assistant arrived on time. Even though he didn't respond to my question about prep work needed before they arrived, I decided to move all the lighter furniture and everything else I could think of to give them maximum access to the carpet upstairs and the one room downstairs with carpet to minimize work fir them. After the initial walk through he told me that he needed to charge me $50 more for the stairs, even though I clearly listed them in my quote request. He proceeded to tell me that the stairs weren't included in the quote, even after I showed him the exchange on Yelp messaging where I listed the stairs! Then he shifted gears and told me the upstairs open area that I clearly listed in my quote request to multiple Yelp vendors was "really like another bedroom" so he was charging me the extra $50 for that. At that point, I just gave up and agreed to the extra $50 because I had other projects to deal with, but it got worse... After they finished, I couldn't really walk around to see the results because the carpet was still wet, so I paid him and they left. After a few hours if drying time I decided to check everything out and the carpet was drenched with water, to the point that I had to run my carpet drying fan and several other heavy duty fans rotating across every room for two days just to be able to put everything back in place. The downstairs room is still too damp to move stuff into after several days and now has a musty smell that won't go away. In closing, all the reviews I read were great so I'm unsure if he just had a bad day or he was upset about me getting upset for overcharging me after I made sure to provide specific details regarding rooms, stairs and open areas. They responded almost instantly after submitting a request for a quote! Very responsive and available the next day at 7 am ! When they arrived they showed up on the dot . Friendly and professional. They do have a generator in their van that is a bit on nosey side which is expected so just be aware for neighbors if that's a possible issue. They finished the work in about 1.5 hours for some extremely dirty couches my pets messed up. These couches were almost thrown out because I didn't think they could be save. Was I wrong !
