This company changed there name to Foundation MD's I am having a hard time getting them to call back and check my warranty!! scams!

Terrible. Had them add some piers, that came with a lifetime warranty. They promised the house would not move at all after. They destroyed my porch after promising they wouldn't have to, then took a year to repair it. Meanwhile the house continues to slide, cracks have gotten bigger, and more of them. They have ignored all calls and emails for over 2 years now. My only recourse is going to be to take them to court. Stay away from Abry Bros, I may end up losing my house because of their shoddy work and not honoring their warranty. read more

My work was done January 2018, Recently, I 've needed to make a claim because the building is unleveled in the same repair area so I started calling Aug. 2021. I have called everyday 4-5 times only to be told someone would call me back. To date September 1, 2021 no one has returned my call. I was willing to use this company again to level the concrete portion of the building. Now I have to hire another company to redo the project Abry Brothers done and level the concrete for the new project. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone! I feel extremely mistreated after spending $3,500 and not given the respect of a return phone call. The worst customer service ever! read more

Abry Brothers - Foundation Repair Near Me - Houston, Texas

During a flooring remodel, I discovered longtime water intrusion damage. To remediate, I received four or five quotes from a variety of landscape and foundation/drainage companies. I selected Abry Brothers because they proposed the most plausible solution to the intrusion challenge. Although their bid was the highest, I felt confident their solution would work. Unfortunately, the account manager ended up in the hospital during my job and was unavailable to ensure the work met his design specifications. However, the owner, Mark Dimitrijevic, stepped in and addressed all the remaining issues, both functional and aesthetic. Additionally, Mark contributed design changes such as modifying the atrium pump. After completing the service, Mark followed-up each time it rained to ensure that the rainwater diverted around the foundation instead flowing under it. When Hurricane Harvey hit, Mark called from a hotel because his own home flooded. However, he reached out to make sure that the pump and drains worked as designed. Mark's ingenious and creative solution resolved my water intrusion challenge and prevented atrium flooding during Hurricane Harvey. Mark's excellent customer service and willingness to "get it right" elevated him to hero status. I am grateful to Mark and Abry Brothers for taking on a tough challenge and not giving up until he found a way to make it work. I wholeheartedly recommend Abry Brothers Foundation Repair and Drainage. 4 mins read more

We had a home inspection done that showed foundation issues and were told to call a foundation company. We called Abry Brothers to receive a quote on what they thought the scope of work would be. 2 gentlemen showed up and 1 of them started off by saying "what have you done to this house?" Obviously, they forgot that this was a presale inspection/quote. Then he started bad mouthing the home inspectors and asked "why would you call a home inspector if you're checking on the foundation" I was a little irked with the attitude but let them continue the inspection. I was told that I would get the quote by the next day. It's now 5 days later and no quote. My agent spoke to their receptionist 3-4 times trying to get the estimate for the work. The lack of professionalism has been bugging me even days later. It wasn't just for the fact that he was bad mouthing another company which he admitted he never heard of but throughout the whole inspection he kept calling my agent and myself "honey" and "girls." Last time I looked, I wasn't a 12 year old girl and not related to this "gentleman." We finally called another foundation company. This competitor showed up with actual equipment to inspect the home. Abry Brothers showed up with nothing, not even paper and pen. I now have a quote ONE DAY after the inspection from Ram Jack. Do not call this company. If this is how they started the relationship with us, how would they have handled the actual work and then warranty work if it was needed? 100+ years in business doesn't say much anymore. I'm sadly disappointed. read more

This company is very middle-of-the-pack with foundation repairs. I am a GC and have used a lot of companies to level homes over the years. They were very responsive to calls and emails and showed up when they said they would. I did have an issue when they finished. The back, right corner of the home was still very unlevel because they never even touched that area. They did come back to fix it, but it was something I really shouldn't have had to call about since it was just never touched. It was still a full inch off when using a 4ft level. All in all, this time they were ok, so I considered using them again. That was my mistake! I'm on the HOA board in my neighborhood, so I had them do the foundation work to raise our pool bathhouse building. When they were done, I went to go check it. I used a 6ft level and reported back to the Board that it was off in two areas, about a full inch from the center over toward 2 sides. They raised the building about 3 inches total which is about the maximum without affecting the under-slab plumbing, so they did a good job with that. Then a few days later their manager called me, and he was very argumentative from the start. He told me I was only supposed to use a 4 ft level, not a 6ft one, and that using a level on concrete wasn't good to do either. What a load of crap!! My assumption is that he thought I was just some inexperienced HOA board member. I've been in the building and remodeling industry for 4 generations, 15 years personally. I remodel about 30 homes per year and am also a licensed inspector. He was so angry when I calmly said "Sir, all I did was put a level on the foundation when the crew was finished and reported back to the Board what I found". That's when he started raising his voice and telling me I shouldn't be using a level like that, and then he just hung up on me! Wow.... Way to run a business... Part of this recent pool bath house raising was to do a hydrostatic test before and after the work to ensure no plumbing leaks. We have been waiting a few weeks for the results and still have not received them. The Board's management company is still holding their final check, so who knows what's going on with them. All in all, they did OK on a basic house level but had to come back, then had just awful communication and treated me like garbage on the phone - when he called me! I didn't call them. Not only will I never use this company again, but I will be sure to let all those I know to not use them either. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They only come out if you are a new customer and after that you will never see them again they do not honor any of their warranties and they constantly ignore calls and come up with excuses as to why work isn't getting done....please use a DIFFERENT COMPANY read more

Great company and they follow through on time and within estimate! Owner was also very involved as service level.

DO NOT USE ABRY. They don't call you back. I've asked for paperwork/warranty for a month. They did shoddy work on my patio, said they would repair it twice but never showed up. I have to pay another company to repair the patio. read more

Abry Brothers will not call you back if you have warranty problems. So be aware if you have problems later even with the life time warranty they give you. It is useless when they will not return your calls. read more

Abry Brothers did a excellent job . I was very concerned about having foundation repair done . Abry Brothers did everything they said they were going to do and more. I highly recommend them read more

Great company, explained exactly what was going on with my house and set me at ease as to what needed to be done to fix the issues with the house. The crew that did the work not only did the job well but took the time and care not to destroy my yard. Will be recommending to my friends. read more

This has been the worst company I have ever dealt with. We decided to be proactive and have foundation checked. One corner of the house they recommended repairing and French drains in backyard. A one day job they told us. Approximately 6 days. Our water line and neighbors water line cut, sprinkler lines cut, unversed cut twice and both times I had to confront them, they leave with no idea when they will be back. They also do not return calls, always stating someone will call me back. I can't say enough that I would not choose them again. I still have sink holes where work was done and can't get anyone to call me back about it! read more

This company is seriously the worst business I have ever dealt with. They did $7500 worth of work on my house. In the end they actually only did about half the work that they claimed to have done. I had several other contractors look at their work and give new quotes. They have stood me up 6 plus time to correct the mess of a job they did. This is warranted as well and the company basically folded up shop. No working number. No one to contact. Stay away! read more

Needed warranty work done in Sept 2015. They put me off until Jan 2016. It was like pulling teeth to get them to respond. It is now Oct 2016 and I in obvious need of their warranty repairs again to prevent additional damage to my foundation. I have been emailing them for a week with no response. I've emailed because I cannot find a working phone number for them in Houston. I may be forced to contact my attorney concerning civil action. I would not recommend this company under any circumstances at this time!!! They do not deserve one star!!! read more

Called and requested a quote. They did not show up or call to say they were not coming. After contacting them myself I was told there was an emergency and the inspector/salesman was not able to come out. We rescheduled again for 2 weeks later. Again they did not show and did not call. I contacted them again and got no response to my message. I have seen reviews that they only want to deal with large jobs, the other quotes we got for the work ranged from $15,000 to $25,000. I think this would be big enough to warrant an estimate. At least a phone call, grant it they would not know since they did not bother to show up at either appointment. read more

We had $10,000 of work performed by this company 2 years ago. At the time, we were given a lifetime warranty for the foundation repair that Abry performed. Within 2 years the foundation repair failed. We have tried unsuccessfully for several months to get Abry to honor their warranty. They scheduled maintenance once, but failed to show up and we've never heard another word from them. Their warranty is useless. We had to call Dawson Foundation and they have been very responsive with scheduling and communication. Dawson's approach to foundation repair is far superior to Abry Brothers. The cost for the repair by Dawson is comparable to Abry Brothers and Dawson sent out a salesman who was very honest and up front with us. Avoid Abry Brothers company at all costs. read more

Stay away, they will take your money, not finish the job. And will not honor there warranty. Thanks, Nashville Tennessee.

This is the absolute worst company I have every used in my entire life. They are pathetic. We paid them 14,000 dollars to fix our foundation which they did back in 2014. I have been calling since October 2015 to get some warranty work done on my home. They rescheduled countless times without calling, they just wouldn't show up. Finally came inspected the place. Said they would be out there in January to fix it. It is now March and I have been rescheduled again for the work to be done. Save your money and use a legitimate company that will honor their work. read more
