Jericho foundation came highly recommended from a family friend. Oh what a mistake that was. While the laborers were nice they decided the side of my house was a urinal and decided to pee all over it. The supervisor said I might as well do it too! When I complained about it all I got from the Manager or Owner or whoever it was, was a oops, sorry shit happens. We talked to them. No true apology no we are so sorry. He even said this isn't the first time! Then it took them months to bill me for the work. When they finally did they never got around to sending the engineering report even though the engineer said it would be completed within 24 hours. Oh they also magically were somehow never able to pull a permit so they deducted money from my bill for that. They decided to not put one pilling in on installation day without telling me, however they did remove the charge for it. I guess that's honest. I just now 5 months later got my warranty paperwork. Very timely. I should have gone with Atlas Foundation Repair. I had forgotten to do any review until they just sent an email to provide a review. I am sure they are not happy now. read more

I own an apartment building in Houston and was concerned about the foundation. I called Jericho Foundation Repair and a very pleasant, professional man (sorry I don't recall his name) came out at the scheduled time this morning. He worked quickly and efficiently in assessing each of the first floor apartments as well as the exterior of the building. I had accepted the possibility that the building would need some foundation repairs because the sewer line underneath had been replaced three years earlier and I knew that could cause some foundation issues. Also there had been some settling in an upstairs apartment which caused some concern. He had an opportunity to tell me anything and I would have believed him. However he assured me that the foundation did not have any issues that would require repairs of any kind. I just had Jericho out for repairs to my townhome (sourced by HOA). Everything was exactly as noted on the estimate. It only took 2 days and I only had to be there during the leveling part to let them inside. The first day it looked like total chaos outside with all the uprooted plants and dirt. After the leveling I went back to work and foreman Jose said I wouldn't need to be back for anything else. When I got home that night, it barely looked like they were there at all. All the plants were back in the ground and only the newly poured concrete showed where they had dug down. The concrete patches aren't attractive, but what can you do? Over the next couple of days I started to notice a few things had not disappeared, namely soda cans and painter's tape. Also, a few plants looked like they didn't quite get re-planted, so much as just placed back in the general area. Overall the actual repair was excellent. My doors are closing and visible cracks diminished. The clean up probably could have been a tad better. read more

We live in a 100 year old house in the Heights and were concerned that part of it was sinking. Another company came out and told us we needed to replace a beam for $4000 ASAP. Thankfully we decided to get a second opinion from Jericho. Dallas came out and told me that replacing the beam wasn't necessary, and the house was shifting because of the heat and dry dirt underneath it. He simply recommended we run a hose and soften the dirt, or go get some cinderblocks from Home Depot to help support it. He gave me some tips on what to look out for in case some serious issues do come up later. Dallas really knew what he was talking about, and I REALLY appreciate his honestly in an industry where it is probably easy to scare people into paying a lot of money for work that isn't necessary. I would not recommend this company. My pipes broke under the foundation and 2 plumbing companies said it was the foundation work as the breaks were right by the piers, watch out because they will not repair or reimburse for damage to pipes. That can add up to more than the foundation work cost. Very unhappy! read more

Jericho was contracted to do work on the building I live in. The company goes into a neighbors unit, jacks up the foundation and blames resulting damage on a drought. After coming into my condo and taking measurements they write a letter that "no foundation work or underpinning is needed at this time"- their professional opinion dated April 26, 2016. One week later starting May 2nd, 2016 the go into the unit directly behind mine and jack up the walls causing more damage to my condo. (remember no foundation work needed?). Would not recommend. They did not honor the warranty from previous work. Had work done in 2008, was now over 5" from one side of home to other out by 2014 and under-slab plumbing(that was all re-done in 2008) had broken in three places. I was told that it was over corrected in 2008(was left after they raised it 2" too much on one side) Home continued to slope. Jericho said over $8000 to do more work. And plumbing had to be re-done and would be another 5K. So in about 6 years all past work ruined--had work re-done by a company that did both the plumbing and the foundation--far superior. read more

I hired this company to come fix what a previous company had done. The owner came out and looked at the property and wrote up an estimate that included a blueprint showing what would be done. We agreed on a price and time line. After several visits of an hour or less I called the owner and got no answer for days, and then was contacted via txt with an apology. The owner claimed he had crew issues. This went on for weeks and bits and pieces of work was done, but only after my repeated calls and complaints. Finally, after over a week of no shows and no contact I moved on and completed the work myself, including needing an entire load of sand to backfill all the holes they left, and to replace yellow pine that was supposed to be replaced. Then their office contacted me stated they wanted to get paid, I stated my issues and was hung up on. The owner then called me and proceeded to threaten me with physical violence and told me he would "Find me and ***** me up." I haven't heard from them until today, several weeks later when I received a notice to lien my property if I don't pay the full amount. Despite the lack of completion, over a month over the time line, damage caused, no permits pulled (required by the city) and threats made to me personally. This is fraud and should not be allowed. This is the second BBB accredited business that I have been taken advantage of on this same project. read more

I would not recommend them. They did not honor the warranty from previous work. I had work done by them 15 years ago. In 2012 house was shifting, so I call them and first they refused to come out and do the adjustment. Finally when I threaten with law suit they came out in 2013 and jacked up the front and side of the house more than 2" and which cause the middle of the house go lower. Right now back side of my home is almost 3" higher from middle. I called them last month to come out and adjust the foundation, which they refuse to do, unless I get inside piers for another $6000. Call Ram Jack and they come out and told me that I do not need any inside piers, all need is back and front of house adjusted. Jericho just wants to make money by adding more piers but don't want to honor the warranty for the previous work. read more
