He was able to give me a rough estimate shortly after my accident. He worked with my insurance to find what it would cost to fix my car. He seems knowledgeable of working with insurance field adjuster. My personal belonging was set aside when I went to pickup my things. (My insurance company request that I remove all my belongings including license plate.) FYI: according to my insurance, it is $100/day to keep the car on Beck Northway Collision's property. This was because my insurance notify me of the cost to repair my car on a Friday. My insurance wanted to hear back from me by Monday because it was gonna cost my insurance $100/day for my car to sit there.

I had a side…read moremirror replaced on a Chevrolet in 2023, and several body panels painted and replaced on a Toyota with front and side damage in 2024. Both were late model current production vehicles. In both cases I had multiple estimates, and not only did Beck Northway Collision save me money over other large shops but I was happier with the results than with any of the past repairs I've had done with my various vehicles by well known Twin City body shops I've used in the past. With both my cars I had repaired at Beck Northway Collision John was able to get me in very fast and the work itself on the more extensively damaged car was finished within 3 days. The color on the Toyota was one of the newest colors they are offering and the color matched the plastic replacement panels which had to be painted with the other steel painted body sections perfectly. Not only was the finish a perfect match but the fit of the replacement panels was also perfect and looks factory new. Even small things, like the way the the license plate was mounted into the new front body panel showed attention to detail and perfection. I wouldn't hesitate to use Beck Northway Collision in the future and will highly recommend this shop to friends and family. I wish I had known about them sooner. Jon Howard

I asked to get it fixed was told that I had to go to their shop Collison Corner, in Maple Plaine. The disaster began when I took it to their repair shop were they clearly were not qualified, and painted it, stripped it and repainted it again. They gave me the car back 3 times being multiple colors. It took 6 weeks for them to give me a garbage paint job. It literally opened and cracked all over the side panels, hood, door panels. I spent months trying to work with John O'Sullivan, who owns the gas station, who just stopped answering, his friend Curt the owner of Collison would not take my calls, after promising to fix it for months. Curts front desk lady told me stop calling he is not going to bother calling you back nor will he fix it.I have pictures taken before, during and after from the Lexus dealership. I also have emails and photos of all the errors Collison Corners made. It is over $8,000 to repair at the dealership that actually knows what they are doing, and neither business will fix my car. They will not reply or answer calls and have left my car a disaster. I live in the neighborhood will go anywhere but these Holidays or Collison Corner. SKIP

After 3 dealings with Blue Line - averaging it all out to a solid 4 stars…read more My wife and I had 3 interactions with Blue Line over the past few years...one bad, one good, and one very good. So I'm averaging everything out to 4 stars. 1. My wife stopped by a few years ago to get a quote for bumper repair on our old Chevy Malibu. The manager was very rude to my wife and said he didn't have time to deal with people that were quote shopping for an insurance money payout. My wife was furious! In fact, she flipped out. My wife is from Peru, South America, and she was convinced that the entire episode was racist and demeaning to her as a Latin woman. 2. I stopped by last year to get a quote on rust repair and new paint for my daughter's big jacked up, blacked out, bad ass Cadillac Escalade with 37 inch tires. Jesse convinced me that the money for rust repair alone would be at least $15,000. I'd be better off starting with a different rust-free vehicle from a southern state. Oh, well. A bitter pill but good honest advice and much appreciated. 3. Most recently Blue Line repaired my Toyota Matrix. It was hit by the tire delivery lady at Slim's Motor Clinic while parked out back. The insurance company sucked. But Blue Line was awesome! Once payment was finally received, they did a beautiful job. And they did it with lightning speed. They even did some extra painting, which I really appreciated. Excellent communication too. After 51 days, Jesse took mercy on me and let me take the car...even though the insurance company hadn't made the final payment yet. Overall, I'm averaging it all out to 4 stars because my most recent experience was so fantastic. Thumbs up! -Daddy Maxx Retro

They gain your trust and then you scam you out of thousands of dollars without an apology. They quote you $460 for brake pads on a car that has been there for multiple inspections and then they charge you $1300. The same car they charged $1100 to fix the heater blower in the middle of December. They charged more than the car was worth after quoting significantly less. They are very nice people, but be careful.

The gentlemen that I was dealing with on the phone did not explain the situation well at all and the potential outcome. If I knew the percentage was high that I would be in an additional 700-800 dollars, I would have chosen not to proceed. That is a fourth of the cars value. Very disappointed in the transparency of the communication. I would look somewhere else to service your vehicle.

I was surprised when he asked what size engine, model & plates? We had a good chuckle when i jumbled the letters & he replied "well you're not a ford f150". Surprise!! The fella who i discussed the 80s 90s area w whom i thought was also here for an appointment made a plates comment as i left. Oh, hello, i didnt realize you worked here! I appreciated that when i gave the coupon to the tech he stated it was for a basic oil change, i could do synthetic & just pay the difference? I opted that route for $26 & change. From in to out i was there around 45 minutes. After he got me checked in a gal came in w a dog. Surprise...also not a customer. She was Ashley the counter person and her dog? Well just a calm, relaxed Loki. Comfortable waiting room/lobby w four spaced out leather seats. There was a kuerig. Hometown is easy to find & get in to the lot. As w most places Hometown gave my truck a once over.....when my oil change was complete Ashley said there was about half brake pad use. Nothing to be concerned about, i have time, they'll check them again. That was it! Not even a guesstimate for what I'd be looking at! Thanks, no pressure and no hassle! When i was checking in i had handed over the coupon, which was returned to me because "there's a $30 off service coupon". So if i need brakes before it expires.... Thanks for the good service!

Ok.. so I live in CA, but from Coon Rapids, MN grew up in CR many moons ago. All garages I knew for…read morehelp no longer exist and was sort of at a loss not once, but twice on our short 5 day stay in Aug 2022. Perhaps I'm used to super high prices in CA and lack of customer service on many occasions, though CA does have it's bright shining star establishments as well.. this place just stands out all around! Ten stars!! (if I could) So, I had an issue with control sway bars on our tiny airstream after severe weather coming through S. Dakota.. not vehicle related per se, but worth a try as our garage at home in CA has some guys with trailer experience always willing to help. Worth a shot after no luck with trailer/RV places.. Doug was so awesome just on the phone.. wasn't sure they could help but stop by for a free look over and if they could help they would.. had a couple guys experienced with trailers and thought they could help.. turns out, we did stop by on our way out of town as planned and they totally helped fix our issue with the sway bars - so much appreciation and all no charge. Because of the warm and welcomed interaction on the phone request for help with sway bars.. I knew this shop was top notch. Go figure the AC on our Expedition went out too and had to come in before that trailer appointment and got us on the road in about 45 min with cool AC for about $150.. I mean, seriously in CA I would have been charged $180 just to have it looked at be told "sorry" can't help, our will apply to a $500-800 charge.... Of course I fixed it.. and to be transparent it was the cost to look, troubleshoot, test systems and then add coolant.. We then came back for our scheduled day out look at the trailer and we're on the road. I will choose Hometown Autocare any day any time before ANYONE else!!.. I love these guys and Hometown Autocare, my AC is STILL STRONG and super COLD even over a month later! If we have any issues next summer we are straight back to you! Thank You!!! VERY DISSAPOINTED to say the least - I want you the potential client for them to understand the…read morewhole situation. A little over a week ago my driver spun a piston crank and limped into their establishment. They call me and tell me no metal in the oil so we should be able to fix it. We are all happy and a huge weight is lifted off of our chests. Next morning it is slammed back on it. Well no sir, the very sweet lady calls to say, we only checked on the dipstick and not the oil pan. You have plenty of shavings in your oil. Talk about bursting your bubble. So we are - Ok what are options? Well you can get a REBUILT motor for $30k or a new one from Dodge dealer for $40k. WHAT? let me give you a little background on me, I created and admin the largest Hotshot Trucking social media and internet Network in the USA, over 600k members, 30 groups, 5 websites, blah, - and I own a Hotshot Trucking Carrier of a few trucks. Point is we do this much more than we would like to admit, deal with shops, mobile mechanics, repair shops and know when we are dealing with a good one. Now don't get me wrong, nice ppl but Monticello residents, your being robbed. So I had one of my other drivers come pick up the truck, bring it back to Texas, get a new motor, Install it, with better components and design than original for under 13k in 4 days. Oh Monticello told me the motor gaskets were on a 45 day back order. Here in Texas they are easily available. BTW they charge over $600 just to take the oil pan off and tell us it had metal shavings in it. WTH? less than an hour of work. This is really shameful. So lets get to the nail in the coffin. So I had to send my driver all the way back from Houston Texas in my spare Ford F350 Super Duty, my personal favorite. On the way he said that the ac was not working right, blowing hot and cold. So I call the previous owner, a mechanical genius and he tells me what to tell the shop, to just add the correct amount of Freon and check compressor, etc. (SEE TEXTS ATTACHED). They respond ok. Please understand my driver is a large man, and has diabetic health problems, Him and his brother suffered greatly coming there and I wanted to repair that ac at whatever it cost to get it right. So he took it to them and told them it is not blowing COLD air and check it out. He told them that I had sent instructions too. One of the MAIN REASONS we trusted them, LISTEN TO THEIR HOLD MUSIC ADVERTISEMENT- THEY SAY THEY RUN A FULL DIAGNOSTIC, ARE VERY EXPEIENCED AND WARRANTY THEIR WORK ANYWHERE, so we THOUGHT we were in good hands. So they hastily install a $40 blower, charge us $551, tell us it is repaired and blowing cold air, WRONG- My driver calls me an hour and a half down the road, Boss the AC is NOT working at all, the people say that it isn't their fault, should I go back? I am having health issues and my Doctors appt is Wednesday. I really need to get home but I don't know if I can stand the heat w/o air, We would have to get another day at hotel. I text, call and the head mechanic with all of these years experience tells me that he didn't check, diagnose, run gauges, check Freon , nor did anyone give him my instructions. He admits he should of and that he knew better. Oh boy, I am between a rock and a hard place, My driver needs to drive over 1000 miles still, the fuel, the hotel, the lost time. Yes in my business each day down is about $1200 revenue. I weigh the options, I have top level REAL mechanics in Texas that KNOW what they are doing, do not take advantage or overcharge us. I tell my driver to come on I text the owner WHO NEVER RESPONDS after this. I would of at least gotten an apology or warranty they brag about.
