The girl tried to talk me into low lights which I was confused about. I asked to just tone it. Well, she did and my hair was almost black! I was so surprised and shocked. When I called the next day to speak with a manager she offered no help. And then told me to call her back next week! I'm sorry as a business owner I would call a client to check on them if they weren't satisfied and I would NOT tell them it was their problem. So typical of an average salon to take their mistake and tell me it's my problem.

I had just purchased a new white shirt with mini/low mock turtle neck. A towel was never placed around my neck/shoulders. When I got home, I realized the back/top of the collar of my shirt had gotten permanent hair color all over it. This was a huge disappointment. It was literally my first day wearing it and I really just loved it but it's pretty ruined at this point unless I wear my hair down, which I dont a lot. I understand my shirt of choice for this color service could have been different, but I also know there are things that can be done as stylists to minimize accidents like this. My only other quick take away was that I was hoping to liven up the highlights that I had that were dull/lacking luster and had faded quite a bit. I was hoping to feeling the tone of them but I didn't really notice a difference in color. But my hair was shiny and my stylist did an AMAZING job with my blow out and making me feel really beautiful when I left. Again, I was just so disappointed about the fact that my new shirt was ruined and the glaze to tone down/deepen the color wasn't really as noticeable as I had hoped.. but overall, I love this salon. The staff is incredible friendly and kind and I have no doubt that this was just a one off experience. I hate to leave negative feedback but want to compliment my stylists bedside manner, kindness and her over skill set which was clearly great.

The appointment was March 18 2026 w Abby, who is an epic artist w polish application. She, unfortunately was on a long vacation when I went in a week ago concerned about the condition my nails were in as a result of the gel removal. I understand that everyone responds differently to any chemical treatment so I have no issue with Abby at all. However, my nails and clear polish applied after the paraffin started bubbling the same afternoon. I gave the benefit of the doubt thinking that it's something I can handle w an emery board and moisturizer. Nope nope nope. 3 weeks later my nails were shredding as soon as they breached the nail bed- they are weak, splitting painfully into the nail bed, keep shredding and need constant filing, clipping, etc. when I went in to ask how I could fix the issue, I was passed around to 3 people- none of whom were nail techs. They refunded $19-a random amount and not close to half of the cost. I was told by Madison in management that this is normal - and to use a product called Nail Envy. A week later, 34 days after the original appointment, my nails are still shredding and splitting. It is like acid was applied. The result is that I will not be able to get a manicure until the nails completely grow out - MONTHS from now. I know if Abby would have been present, she would have had better advice and would have repaired the nails to the best of her ability. Result - I spent $ for a manicure w paraffin so didn't cut corners, and will have hideous painful nails until they grow out. I'm upset that a nail tech wasn't available to advise, I was told I'd be called in a couple of days to see how things were and to get an informed answer, which didn't happen. I bought the Nail Envy strengthener and their cuticle oil as recommended by Grok(!). $36. I have had nothing but great experiences w Impressions until this debacle. I don't know what to do - management is inadequate for problem solving.
