I'll start by saying that I'm not a vegan, so I consider myself lucky that I had the opportunity to try out the delicious deserts offered by Abloom Bakeshop. I've tried several of the items offered. I've loved them all, but so far my favorites are the mixed nut roll and the lemon raspberry cupcakes, which I ordered for a birthday party. I'll also share that I wasn't alone in my opinion. Not only are these cakes beautiful, but they're so incredibly delicious! The detail on this cake I ordered for my vegan friends birthday is absolutely gorgeous and even our non vegan friends enjoyed it! It was chocolate on the inside with fresh fruit and a yummy vanilla frosting. I honestly could not tell the difference between a normal cake and a vegan cake. We just got married a month ago and we have nothing but good things to say about Bree at Abloom Bakeshop! From our initial meeting to the wedding she was professional, friendly, and amazing to work with! We were so glad to have her do our wedding cake! We got two cakes, one was strawberry/vanilla and the other was chocolate hazelnut. For our gluten free guests we got coconut key lime pies! After the tasting we asked for a couple changes; add more strawberries and more nuts, and she took those into account. We had non-vegans guests at our wedding and no one knew these cakes were vegan! After the wedding reception, we ended the night with two coconut key limes in hand and piece of cake! It was the best! Thanks Bree for everything! I'm not vegan, and I'm the world's luckiest eater. I am always willing to try some healthier options , but I've always been so skeptical that flavor would be lost in "healthier" foods. When I found abloom I fell in LOVE. I try to make it out to the farmers market as much as possible because Bree is amazing! She responds throughly to any and all questions I have, has the best energy and smile and her baked goods are BETTER than anything I've tried. These are some of the best desserts I have ever had! I have not ever been impressed by any vegan dessert that I had tried previously, but there are quite a few items that I have been able to try, and each one is outstanding. The chocolate chip cookies are great, and for all intents and purposes, every bit as good as their non-vegan counterparts. The lemon-raspberry cupcakes are phenomenal, with the perfect balance of tart and sweet. Perhaps my favorite are the molasses-ginger cookies with wild orange blossom buttercream. The dense, chewy sweetness of the cookies compliments the bright flavor of the orange blossom cream perfectly. The selection of items covers not only tried and true favorites, but has some really unique items that are also standouts. I will definitely be coming back for more! read more

My mom and I stumbled on Abloom while at a farmers market one weekend and although neither of us are vegan we thought we'd try a sample of Bree's cakes anyways. We were completely caught off guard by how amazing the carrot cake was. It was the best we've had and so incredibly moist and not over the top sweet. My mom especially loved it cause there were no raisins. We got her business card and I contacted her right away to see if she was available to do cakes for my moms 50th birthday party. She responded promptly and was very informative. Since my moms theme was "wine and whiskey" I asked if Bree could make the icing a deep red like a red wine color, she mentioned that since she doesn't use regular food coloring it may not be as dark as I'd like but it was beautiful, she did an amazing job at providing what I had requested. I ordered 2, 8 inch round cakes. 1 carrot and 1 lemon raspberry. We didn't get to sample the lemon raspberry but it did not disappoint. Everyone at the party was amazed at each of the cakes and commented repeatedly how great they were and the carrot was "to die for".
