I moved to Solana Beach from downtown so I needed a closer dentist. I asked around but wasn't too thrilled with some of the referrals. So I looked in my insurance directory and found this place. When I called they said they moved to Encinitas, which isn't too far. Dr. Cortadi is amazing. She is truly genuine and cares about her job. She knows what she's doing! I had so many bad experiences with other dentists. My prior dentist suggested that I have my silver fillings removed. So I did but he did a horrible job! In addition, he never addressed my receding gum line and the sensitivity it caused. Dr. Cortadi suggested an option to get them bonded. Omg! She did a terrific job! Other dentists had never suggested this. I wish I had gone to her to replace the silver fillings too so I wouldn't have gone through such a horrible experience from the prior dentist. She is truly an artist! Loves her job and genuinely has bedside manners. She hums too as she works on your teeth. :) Lastly, I had to get my night guards redone as well. The other dentist couldn't get them right. Dr. Cortadi and her staff made sure it was done right. My impressions were good and the lab did a great job. Dr. Cortadi fitted it and explained that she didn't want the back molars to hit the guard so that I don't stress out my jaw. She talked about retraining the grind to hit the front teeth. I get a lot of ear aches because of grinding. The other dentist never took this into consideration or explained the guard. They never even asked for me to come back in a month to do a follow up to check the guard. This kind of care and service is so worth the extra money I had to spend because the other dentist did my night guard wrong. So happy to have found this place!!!! Dr. Cortadi is an amazing dentist. She earns every star! She is very professional, extremely knowledgeable, has integrity that I have never seen in a dentist before, and is very kind. She took the time to inform me why so many of my teeth were cracking, and gave me wise direction how to better care for them from now on. Since I am opposed to root canals, and recently (by another dentist) had one tooth pulled because the cracked tooth that he "repaired" had resulted in severe root pain afterward, I said to her "maybe I should have this cracked tooth pulled instead of fixing it". She said "if I repair your tooth and it needs pulled afterwards (due to pain), I will not charge you for the repair work, I want you to preserve your teeth--they are important" Really? My last dentist wanted fees to pull the tooth after he charged me to repair it. Dr. Cortadi has integrity and care!!! And guess what? This severely cracked tooth she repaired is painless--and this is one day after getting it majorly fixed! You are very good Dr. Cortadi. And lastly, Dr. Cortadi has a very good gentle hygienist for teeth cleaning (or I wouldn't have had it done) and an amazing X-ray taker (painless!). ALL of her staff are exceptional and very kind. I know this all sounds too good to be true, but this experience was for real, her practice IS the exception to the rule. I've finally found a dentist that I'll keep going back to and feel comfortable recommending to family, friends and co-workers.:) Dr. Cortadi her office manager Gabriela and her staff are great. Definitely the nicest and cleanest dental office I've been to. I originally found this place as I had a broken tooth while visiting San Diego. They were able to squeeze me in the next morning due to the emergency. The whole experience was amazing, they explained exactly what they were doing, and went over the costs PRIOR to any procedure. The best part of my dental visits was being able to walk in and leave with my crown done the same day. I haven't had any problems with my crown it looks amazing just like a real tooth. I am going back to replace an old metal crown I have it's worth the drive. Dr. Cortadi is very gentle I felt no pain while getting treatment. Anyhow - if you're looking for a new dentist or if you're new to the area, I would suggest giving Dr. Cortadi a try. read more

I've moved a lot so have been to a ton of dentists all over the USA and Dr Courtadi and team are the best I've ever been to. What I noted in general was an uplifting and peaceful atmosphere. In my experience, an enjoyable atmosphere isn't typically a memorable element in a medical office of any sort. The whole team seemed to be enjoying their day and I think those two elements are related. What stood out specifically is that all the equipment is very modern, they were very thorough and not hurried but I was somehow in and out faster than I expected. Parking was very easy in the ample lot and no annoying garage to deal with. It's also located right by the freeway so the entire process was efficient. Dr. Cortadi is Awesome! Unfortunately my teeth have been ravaged by much Coca-cola drinking in early years, and I therefore require dental work regularly. At Ablantis they make all their own crowns and everyone there is enjoyable and knowledgeable. I've been to some dentist that I have detested and won't waste my time negatively reviewing them, and I have been to some that were adequate and I won't waste my time reviewing them. Dr. Cortadi and staff are friendly and professional! I never especially like to go to the dentist, but going to their office is always a pleasure. Dr. Cortadi has the patience of a saint. I am undecided about a certain procedure, so I keep coming in with new or not so new questions and she takes the time to see me and answers my questions. My first impression when walking into the office was: What a happy group of employees. There is an old adage, "This fish rots from the fhead down." Obviously, Dr. Contadi sets the tone and it is very positive. I've had five crowns replaced with no discomfort. Dr. Contadi is friendly with a genuine interest in you and your dental health. Everyone is great. They call to remind. Before any major work, I get a complete printout of what my insurance will cover and what my costs will. They also prioritize to help with budgeting. So if that other person didn't know what it was going to cost, they failed to ask or pay attention. Dr. Cortadi is very good at explaining what will be involved and to make sure you are comfortable. I have used Ablantis Dental for several years now. The cleanings are thorough. Also, when Claudia does a filling, you don't even feel it. She makes sure she gets you numb enough. As much as I HATE going to the dentist it was an awesome experience. The hygienist was very gentle compared to other dentist offices, which is a big thing for me. DDS Claudia is so gentle so kind I enjoy going to the office, dental hygienist have all been amazing as well. Very happy with the PIN hole surgery I had, no issues during or after, my gum is back to normal. I've had some bad experiences with bad DDS and Claudia is not one. Love the staff. read more
