There's even a dedicated area for painting figures, which is fantastic. I've done that at home, and there's a lot of gear that you need for that: to do it in a setting with people buzzing around you, good lighting, nice chairs, and paints and brushes all around you. Honestly, it just feels like a better way to do it than sitting in your basement, unless that's your sort of thing. There's also a huge gaming area. I didn't go in there, but I think that's the kind of amenity that is essential for a store like this. Snacks, food, games, dice, puzzles. Not sure what else you could have at a place like this, other than perhaps a comic book area.

None of the gamer stores we visited in Baltimore County can hold a candle to this place. Pay the toll and get your butt over to Ritchie Highway. You'll want to burst into tears of joy when you set foot into the store. I was under the impression that it was difficult to own/run a game store, or thats what the owners of those little shops would have me believe. But this place had loads of customers, and a bunch of other regulars in a side room used for gathering for in person play. Jeremy got his wish. A group of our friends are planning on getting together at least one Friday a month to play the Wheel of Time RPG. And he suckered me into joining. So he insisted that I pick out my own dice, rolling tray (the non-herbal kind), and a bag to hold the dice. He got some stickers and other stuff, too, cuz he's just so very into embracing the tabletop rpg gamer lifestyle. We joined the rewards program, so we'll obviously be back.

If I know your political affiliations (whatever they may be) 5 minutes after stepping foot in your store, you're doing it wrong. Haven't been back since and tell people I know to stay away. Apparently the store doesn't give cash refunds so I was stuck returning my figures for store credit. Added photos of the blind boxes I purchased since there's some question to the legitimately of my claim. When I went back in took a closer look at a lot of the merchandise and the majority is either unlicensed or straight up bootleg. Do not buy blind boxes, figmas, or nendoroids from this store. The quickest way to tell if what they're selling you is legit or not is to look for a holographic sticker, usually of the anime company that's putting out the fig (i.e. Sailor Moon, One Piece, boxes should have a toei animation sticker.) Other items like banks and wallets are just such low quality you know they're unofficial. The store itself feels more like a middle school anime club than an actual store. The kid working was playing a card game the whole time and I had to interrupt his game in order to get checked out. The sign for their yaoi section includes a rape joke and is disgustingly homophobic. Update: Really uncomfortable that the employees have been openly talking about me to the point where another reviewer can name the day I came in. Also, to address the kid saying everything is imported straight from Japan, the owner states that she gets most of her merchandise from AAAanime. Which is based in California so you don't know what you're talking about. Secondly, Goodsmile lists it's partners on it's website http://partner.goodsmile.info/support/eng/partnershops/ AAAanime is not on the list.
