It reminded me of the old school train shops my dad, uncle, and grandad always took me too as a kid. There's a HUGE variety of model trains, scenery, paints, parts, you'd be hard pressed to not find something you need here. The owner greeted us warmly, mentioned a sale they had going on and said to ask him if we needed anything. Besides trains he also had a decent stock of model planes and cars, a few Star Trek models from the 80s but again, the bulk of his stock is trains. We were in the market for Gunpla models and sadly he didn't stock those but I will be telling my uncle about this place when he needs supplies for his trains. A great small business to stop in if you're looking for model trains and parts and want to support local businesses. Both men at the registers were very nice and asked what games we were into and made recommendations on other mech we might like. Their selection is pretty vast and seems on par price wise with other stores in the area and online. They also had an area you could play test games and we saw people and families of all ages enjoying shopping and testing the games on display. The new store on Wesley Drive is HUGE. It might be a little hard to find but its located on the right corner of the plaza with the Peppermill restaurant, to the side/back of McDonalds. Parking can get a bit nutty and limited on weekends so just keep that in mind.

The staff are fine, but my main issue this place comes more from the regular customers and lack of regulations or expectations around behavior in the store. I've been to several prereleases here and I dont think I'll be back after multiple times men (sometimes with their kids present) Kept making sexist or straight up comments on my body or being female in a gamimg space. There is also a HEAVY issue with body odor here. This is not entirely the staffs fault, but I couldnt find staff members available to talk with about this issue, and was waved away when I did find one due to them being overwhelmed. Increasing staff numbers especially during high demand events would fix this. This is a great store, but I fear it is suffering from success in the numbers.

There's even a dedicated area for painting figures, which is fantastic. I've done that at home, and there's a lot of gear that you need for that: to do it in a setting with people buzzing around you, good lighting, nice chairs, and paints and brushes all around you. Honestly, it just feels like a better way to do it than sitting in your basement, unless that's your sort of thing. There's also a huge gaming area. I didn't go in there, but I think that's the kind of amenity that is essential for a store like this. Snacks, food, games, dice, puzzles. They had a couple aisles of models - ships, military planes, cars etc., rocket sets, RC cars, supplies like paint and tools and some games like Warhammer which I'm not familiar with at all. They are THE toy store to visit in all of Ellicott City. Whether it's 1970s Kenner Star Wars action figures to current Marvel Legends, their toy selection is exquisite. They feature high end Hot Toys figures from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and other films in geekdom but also feature bins of loose McDonalds toys. All Time really sells to anyone and everyone on the toy scene and the retro video game scene too. This store survived the Main Street flooding in 2016. The owner refurbished the inside and has made this store better than it ever was. Even though they're back on their feet, this store deserves your consideration and visitation.
