Great selection of comics and some great key books. They also have a nice selection of board games with a friendly staff!

The shop is located in the Weis Markets part of the center and has plenty of parking. New space is similar in layout to the Mechanicsburg location. One wall of the shop was covered by various collectibles including Pop Vinyls and a good new pull comic selection. Long boxes with a fair selection of back issues line the shops other wall and above them are some of the shops less valuable wall books. The most valuable wall books are located behind the counter on the wall, but they are more than willing to let you search though them. A good selection of trade paperbacks is located in the back middle of the shop on shelves. Make sure to check out the full size Spider-Man in the back corner. Staff member was pleasant to chat with. Overall it's a good shop, but I would say the selection at the Mechanicsburg location is a little better in terms of long boxes and wall books. Still worth a stop if you're in the area.

The best comic store!!!!! (Simple statement, five exclamation points, so there)…read more Super friendly "counter monkeys" who really know their stuff (I learned things about Peter Parker I wish I hadn't) and provide the best customer service I've ever experienced. Go ahead, ask them anything, and within seconds you'll get a lesson in comic history like no other. They will also work their tails off to find anything you need, whether it takes a call to their sister store or to the distributor. Forgot to pick up a comic on Wednesday? No problem, call and ask them to put it in your box. Oh yeah, they have a subscription service, so you'll never miss out again. Special events sprinkled throughout the year give you a chance to save big and connect with local artists and the owners. You'd be surprised how many local artists live in York and how many of them make Comix Connection their "home." That means while you are saving big on Free Comic Book Day or during an anniversary sale, you get spectacular sketches and tons of signed books. And the owners are real gems. They continually give back to their customers and the community. And that's what really sets this store apart: when you come here, you truly feel like part of a community. As a lapsed comic book reader, that really made the difference.

Stellar Collectibles is one of the worst collectibles shops I have ever visited. It's not hard to…read morefind being off of U.S. 30 with a digital sign out front, but you have to enter directly from the highway and not from Emigs Mill Rd as that entrance is blocked. There is some parking in front of the shop, and it has extremely limited hours, being open only two days a week. When you walk in, as my friends and I did, this place looks like it has promise as there's a little bit of everything, everywhere. There were some rare collectables that caught our attention. Where everything goes downhill is somewhere between 65-75 percent of the shop is not actually for sale. Only items clearly marked and in the counters are for sale. If it's in a box on the actual floor, it's not for sale. If it's on the counter...it's not for sale. If it's over on this side of the shop...not for sale. If it's in a comics longbox that has a clearly marked price of $1, sitting on the counter...that's 100% not for sale, because they bought it for shop to sell but didn't take the price out of the box. For a shop like this work, of which I've been to several, you need either a clerk who is prepared to give a price on the spot or have all items priced as marked. The items just can't be lying around. Almost every word out of the clerk's mouth during our visit was "That's not for sale." To be blunt, I feel the young man who was the clerk didn't want to be there that day. He had an attitude wrong for this type of work and needs to be retrained or replaced. After the comic longbox situation above, I had to with a mildly frustrated tone in my voice ask "What's actually for sale?" We left shortly after because this place was a waste of our time. How does Stellar Collectibles fix their shop? 1. Close for a month and totally reorganize the shop. 2. Take all unpriced items off the sales floor and either put them in the backroom or in a sectioned off part of the shop. Get pipe and drape if necessary. This will also help anyone with mobility issues because currently, the shop is probably not handicap accessible. 3. Retrain or replace the clerk with someone who wants to be there. Stellar Collectibles is one of the worst collectibles shops I've ever visited and one of my most frustrating experiences in a long time. What a disappointment.
