Being nerds and collectors…read moreourselves, its nice to see things outside conventions and local that we can stop by and check out. First, its a little confusing where this is. It's located INSIDE of State Theater Vintage Emporium, which is an adventure in itself. Walk in the doors, go up the stairs and its the first "big" fixture/box shop on the left. They carried everything and anything anime and Japanese from plush, figures, cards/card games to even straight from Japan video games and trinkets for Ita Bags. They even had some Pocky, Ramune and other Japanese snacks for purchase. I think we saw the owner restocking as we perused and he was very personable mentioning he could answer any questions we had. Prices were in line/if not better than ones I see at conventions and online. Overall a great place to stop if you're in the market for current or vintage Japanese goods.

This store had a great vibe and selection of various games from numerous consoles. I collect for…read morethe NES and N64 and they had plenty of games that I wanted. Unfortunately, pricing was generally 10-20% higher than price charting. I get it - brick and mortar, bills, employees, costs, etc. It's a hard market. Though, most of my local stores are beating price charting and offering various deals or buy 2 get 1 free. I didn't see anything like that here but maybe I missed it... In general they carry a wide selection of retro to new console games. I found games on every system that I'd like to acquire. Beyond that they had an array of figures, strategy guides, records and toys. Really cool place to check out. They even had an N64 Sculptors Cut which is super rare. I loved the inventory, the people and everything about the place.

Seems to have a good selection of games especially and an assortment of retro controllers which is better than most, will be back next time I am in the area going forward.

But all the staff is always by all the cards, there's never anyone by the games to let you look at things in the case, etc. It's a little annoying finding someone every time you want to look at a binder of loose games or see the quality of a game in the case. I'm autistic and disabled and magic is a big part of my life for 32 years so when I see things like this especially from a wpn store it really doesn't sit right you guys are supposed to support the community not empty its pockets. I've made a list of all the stores and been in contact with wizards and Hasbro and they are also looking into the wpn stores and the exploit with the tech people. I'm a journalist and one that f the first Magic players I will always fight for what is right. You guys make it unattainable for people like me and it's sickening. Like I understand things will go up but to straight up just go for the throat is wrong. Magic used to be about community, friends and family the past 8 years all I see is people who only care about money and what they can get from others. You guys are pushing people away from magic along with wizards and Hasbro for allowing all this to happen.
