It reminded me of the old school train shops my dad, uncle, and grandad always took me too as a kid. There's a HUGE variety of model trains, scenery, paints, parts, you'd be hard pressed to not find something you need here. The owner greeted us warmly, mentioned a sale they had going on and said to ask him if we needed anything. Besides trains he also had a decent stock of model planes and cars, a few Star Trek models from the 80s but again, the bulk of his stock is trains. We were in the market for Gunpla models and sadly he didn't stock those but I will be telling my uncle about this place when he needs supplies for his trains. A great small business to stop in if you're looking for model trains and parts and want to support local businesses. Owner is very knowledgeable and friendly, willing to go that extra mile to help find what you need.

The staff was very friendly and we were immediately asked if we needed help when we walked in the door great way to start. I really didn't need anything but I ended up spending almost 100 bucks! The main man was very nice to talk to and my wife and I will be back again. He also told us about another place in town which had a lot Lionel itemsBut since we had other places to go in town we'll have to wait till next time to see this place but we will stop back at Tommy's Gilberts again cause it was a nice store.

The 3 shop owners who were there were very knowledgeable about their equipment and ghost hunting in general. I'm 75% skeptic, but even I have had unexplained things happen to me that I would normally not talk about that were verified by Pamela when I showed her my pix. Pamela was warm and very easy to talk to. I purchased an piece of equipment that turned out was not going to work for what I needed it for. I came back four hours after ordering/paying for it, and Anthony was very gracious about letting me cancel my order, even though his supplier was not so gracious to him. I would highly recommend a visit to this place.
