This is a brightly-lit, well-stocked, and fun place to visit. I love the fact they carry toys, games, and books across many genres so there's weird and unusual items to browse and buy. They have frequent events and sales, plus they move items out through a clearance bin that always has something interesting. What I love most about the place is how outgoing it is. Customers talking fandom with the staff, sharing experiences and opinions (sometimes they have a "NO SPOILERS" sign up when a big movie comes out) makes this more than a shop. It's like a community center for the region's nerd herd.

Comix Connection has moved to the Carlisle Commerce Center, a plaza down the road from its old…read morelocation at the West Manchester Mall and/or Town Center. The shop is located in the Weis Markets part of the center and has plenty of parking. New space is similar in layout to the Mechanicsburg location. One wall of the shop was covered by various collectibles including Pop Vinyls and a good new pull comic selection. Long boxes with a fair selection of back issues line the shops other wall and above them are some of the shops less valuable wall books. The most valuable wall books are located behind the counter on the wall, but they are more than willing to let you search though them. A good selection of trade paperbacks is located in the back middle of the shop on shelves. Make sure to check out the full size Spider-Man in the back corner. Staff member was pleasant to chat with. Overall it's a good shop, but I would say the selection at the Mechanicsburg location is a little better in terms of long boxes and wall books. Still worth a stop if you're in the area.

Go ahead, ask them anything, and within seconds you'll get a lesson in comic history like no other. They will also work their tails off to find anything you need, whether it takes a call to their sister store or to the distributor. Forgot to pick up a comic on Wednesday? No problem, call and ask them to put it in your box. Oh yeah, they have a subscription service, so you'll never miss out again. Special events sprinkled throughout the year give you a chance to save big and connect with local artists and the owners. You'd be surprised how many local artists live in York and how many of them make Comix Connection their "home." That means while you are saving big on Free Comic Book Day or during an anniversary sale, you get spectacular sketches and tons of signed books. And the owners are real gems. They continually give back to their customers and the community. And that's what really sets this store apart: when you come here, you truly feel like part of a community. The shop is spread across several rooms and the only concern with this setup is handicap accessibility, as the rooms are a little narrow. Stock is spread across the rooms, hallways, and closets. It can seem maze like but is clean and well organized. New pull selection is good, with racks everywhere. Short boxes are also everywhere, with an excellent selection that has surprising depth. Has a fair Manga selection, not usual for comic shops. Perhaps the most unique feature of this shop is the paperback book selection, with a surprising amount of stock. I did not see any Graphic Novels when exploring the shop. The only comment I would make is some of the stock seemed dated and possibly a sale is needed to thin out less relevant items. Owner knew his shop well, answered every question we asked, and showed us the location of every item we asked about. What was more impressive was he knew the local comic shop scene, as many shop owners do not. I will be returning to this impressive comic shop that arguably in the extended Harrisburg area could be the best.

They had already expanded their space at the old location once, and this new location continues on that path. The first floor has all of the gaming and comic products, while the second floor has the gaming space. Store has a pretty large selection of card and tabletop gaming items. New pull comic book selection is good, with longboxes mostly containing newer books. Graphic novels are spread across several bookshelves and the selection is good. They have a handful of other things like Pop Vinyls. Overall, Alchemist's Cove Games & Comics is arguably the best comic book shop for several surrounding counties outside of the Allentown metro area, and continues to grow. It's worth a stop when in the area.

Honestly, I am not sure how this place is still around after so many years, but it is still there and I still love dropping in when I am back in town. The shop specializes in monthly subscriptions so you can easily add yourself to a list to get the next drop each month or you can browse for something new. He carries some back issues for popular titles and if you can't find what you are looking for, he will try and order it for you. I stop in for the expertise and recommendations though. When I am looking for something new, the owner can give me a good deal of titles to try. His last recommendation for me was Y The Last Man and I loved it! If you are heading to the coffee shop across the street, stop in, pick up something new or the latest release of your favorites and enjoy with your favorite coffee drink. It's locals and guests to the area that will keep this place alive against the big box stores!

Excellent selection of new pull comics, which at some shops these days is hard to find. Back of the store is mostly comprised of longboxes on tables, with a large selection. Better longboxes are on the tables with some budget longboxes located on the floor. The good selection of toys and collectables just makes Comics World even more well-rounded. This might be the best kept secret in the southern Pennsylvania comic book shop scene and I would absolutely return here.

There are lots of comics to browse through, but mostly 1980s and up. There are some older stock, several with certified grade and encapsulated in archival plastic cases.
